The killing of a noblewoman, avenged by the slaying of a commoner, leads to unrest. I'm not seeing the difficulty in understanding that causal link.

I'm not seeing why that would happen I'm protesting the event if the link is missing. What led to this happening I don't appreciate the vagueness.

I mean all the elves respect each other and the nobles have done a good job of ruling.

...I'm pretty sure you literally just illustrated, in your post, a richer Elf specifically not respecting a poorer Elf. And given the Dominion isn't a utopia, which I feel quite confident asserting such is the case, there are going to be inexorably variable levels of competency and fairmindedness from her rulers.

A revenge slaying has occurred, a commoner being killed in cold blood after the accidental death of a noblewoman. Some commoners are understandably less than amused by this occurrence. Thus the unrest.

Right I'm not arguing that,I'm stating how it doesnt feel natural and I dont appreciate having the narrative of my civilization taken away from me like that.Objectively speaking the Arameri Dominion as been prosperous and successful thus far so I see no reason why a commoner would murder a noble.

If that happens by a random fluke then he would be put through the system and persecuted as elven culture emphasizes civility and justice (social contract) he would be imprisoned for that would be worse pubishment then death.

But you said he was killed in revenge.Again I'm not sure why the commoners would be angry by this as Queen Fey has been a good ruler and is consider Arkanes representative on earth and would persecute the person who killed the commoner and calm any hot passions wrought by this event in my opinion.

Tbf G, I would put more wording down, telling the government the wrong that was done. Because me reading it without really knowing so much history, all I can see is, "people are angry and are bring chaos". It would be nice to get a full idea why these people are rebelling referring to the incident that was wronged.

Presumably the commoner didn't intend to kill her, but these things do happen in magical duels. Though you can work around that angle, if you want. I'm guessing your commoners aren't enthusiastic about one of their brothers being killed over an accident, and (at present) no consequences coming to the murderers. But, of course, you risk offending those with power and money if their own are punished for taking out their anger on a man of low social status and reputation. Essentially, just a bit of a stewpot of unhappy feelings - hence the loss of public order.

Clarification: Anyway, if you don't love that explanation - the Random Event generator called for a minor bad event for the Dominion. I tried to interpret that in light of your RPing. I'm sorry if you don't like how I explained it, but that's kinda just how it worked out.

It's an option, but mostly looking for ways to kill immortal liche-kings that are now confirmed to have survived to the north.

Well, as far as High Queen Khalida knows, the Liche-King Neferkara is alive somewhere in the north. The remnants of the chosen have come home and have reported what their predecessors saw of the ritual to bring him back. Then there was the confirmation that his body was not among the fallen in the land. Sets off a minor quest for Khalida to try and send something north to retrieve the Sarcophagus of Neferkara.

I'm open for it. The Orleans have been trying to look for allies who would help push out the Empire from the West for good but they've been afraid of going to Zhou because of their betrayal a century ago.
