2:00PM, Friday Afternoon
The sun shone brightly on that friday afternoon, its radiant light reflecting off of the pure blue waters of the Atlantic, gleaming brightly as the clear day brought with it nearly no clouds to speak of. The sounds and smells of the sea came from all directions as Yalta All Girls' College made its way through this body of water, leaving massive and grandiose wakes behind as the various powerful turbine engines drove it forwards, this marvel of engineering prowess thought impossible mere decades before without advances in energy technologies. But not only that, around it one could find that various other vessels of strikingly impressive caliber surrounded it, as this massive fleet of gigantic floating cities totaled in at around 30 school ships in total, with hundreds of quicker supply ships heading to various vessels on the daily. Many were massive, and many were small in comparison to one another, but there is one thing that they all indisputably shared with one another, no matter their cultural leanings-- excluding the fact that the U.S Government sponsored this absolutely massive fleet group.
It was the vexing sun's heat, beating down on everyone aboard these mighty vessels. While many remained inside, the unfortunate men and women who would wander about found themselves facing humid and high temperatures, unpleasant to even those used to Carribean or South American environments. It was on this day however that something was planned for Yalta, which to be fair was quite unfortunate that it had been, since everyone would have had to stand outside. Nonetheless, this day marked the rebirth of Yaltas Tankery team, an exciting announcement which had rocked the whole school to its core! However, the old hangars in which the tanks used to reside were now but mere shadows of their former selves, as some overgrowth had made its way over some of the smaller facilities, including (regrettably) the bathrooms. Surprisingly enough it still stood completely firm however, with no structural damages. Community service had tried cleaning up the former training areas, but they still hadn't gotten to the hangars themselves for now they sat in this state, where nature seemed to battle with man. Things around this formerly lonely and abandoned place were about to get far more active, however-- as once more students would be present on its hallowed grounds.
Student Council
"Impressive, ain't it?"
The various members of the student council found themselves face to face with these massive hangars, staring up at them and how grand they still were, despite years of solitude and loneliness. The figure up front, Kyeong-Kyang, had her hands on her hips, smiling up at it with an adventurous gaze. For so long had she forgotten this building, neglected it, and never done anything with it. It used to be a well-funded endeavor, with dozens of tanks doing live-fire exercises each day and cooperating with the high school Tankery classes, but now perhaps these same grounds could be used for something greater, for a bigger and brighter future for this otherwise relatively plain and boring school. After all, they had to start somewhere, right?
"Now that could hold one hell of a V16! How many liters, do ya' think, Mi-suk?"
"Uh... That isn't a bonnet, Yeong. Besides, shouldn't we use it to store the tanks we'll have to aquire?"
"Ah shit, you're right... Well hey, a girl can dream, can't she?"
As the two talking to eachother would giggle lightly to themselves and banter on about how much power such an engine would output, and what'd it even do given a list of ridiculous-sounding vehicles. Kyeong-Kyang in the meantime would smile to herself, before turning to Gyeong-Suk as she stared intently about the building, eyes narrowed and looking for any potential things of note. She didn't even notice Kyeong-Kyang asking her, "Yo, Lili, what do you think? Quite a building, eh?" as she continued staring it up and down. Eventually, it got to the point where the silence between the two was almost awkward, as the blonde girl then shook this tunnelvisioned Korean, whom would blink wildly as she was snapped back to attention.
"Lili!"
"H-H-Huh? Oh. Yo, Kyeong-Kyang. What'cha need, girl?"
"What do ya' think of the place? Pretty cool, right?"
The girl would blink momentarily, taking a few seconds before nodding once firmly with a smile.
"Yeah. It's pretty cool, though we might want ta' call up community service and have them clear this place out, later."
The Student Council President then found herself rubbing the back of her head, grinning and looking to the side.
"Heh... I suppose you're right. After I get the other girls going, I guess we'll call 'em over. Say, shouldn't it be about time for them to all show up? We gave them all directions on the bulletin, right?"
The various assorted girls would all then momentarily stop their shenanigans, all of them looking curious, aside from Kyeong-Kyang herself whom had asked the question. They all looked about one another, sometimes looking down at their phones and checking the time. 2:03. The bulletin said for them all to be there by 2:20, so they all had assumed more people would have shown up by now. "Yeah, where are they...?" asked Yeong. "For one hell of an announcement we put out there, they might not even show up." stated Gyeong-Suk. Right after that, a frightened-looking Mi-Suk would pipe up, yelling out, "That'd be awful! We secured so many time slots and so much funding for this, who knows what'll happen if this fails?!" With all this, the blonde student council president would clear her throat loudly, as everyone would look to her. Smiling before opening her eyes, she'd look amongst all them.
"Guys, don't worry. They're probably finishing up classes, now. Who knows? Maybe some of 'em will start appearing right now!"
"...Right now?"
"Precisely, Mi-suk! Right... now! No? Now! Right... Now!"
