Allathor is one of those gods. Though now that I think about it, every god here actually can fight. I mean, we're faster, stronger, and tougher than mortals, so I guess even the gods with non-martial powers can stand a reasonable chance in combat against mortals. Not so sure what happens if they're faced with Demigods or Mortal Champions, though.

My idea was to make a prehistoric god, but if all gods were once mortals then I might have to rethink that.

Nah, I think that gods can indeed be born as, well, gods. Mortals ascending into godhood is probably the exception, rather than the norm. In Allathor's case, this has to do with the backstory I've planned for him, which is still awaiting Charmera's approval.

I certainly hope that’s the case, as my god is supposed to predate mortals and having to have been a mortal would break the character.
