Alright, as I'm finalizing the list, this is what I've decided for the HRE. Now, considering there are so many itty bitty nations, and I'm not the best map maker, I've had to basically condense the HRE to the biggest States. This is what I have:

It would be great to expand my control over trade in the Black Sea, and Crimea is a perfect way to do this, but I don’t have any plans to actually attack anyone (YET).

I was hoping to forge and alliance with you, the Bulgarians and Georgians to keep both the Muslims and the Catholics at bay...Just because Romanos IV invited them to help, doesn't mean he likes them (especially not the Normans).

As Georgia, I would be welcome to the idea of an alliance of sorts. Mainly against the Muslims to my south and east.

Capitals weren't really a thing in the 11th century save for a few specific states like Byzantium.

I edited my app so I have Kutaisi as the Georgian Capital, but this may change as the RP progresses.

Pursuant to the telegrams we exchanged, I'll make it canon that Sophia Khatun is a cousin or niece of Romanos IV. Aaron III would have a vested interest in propping up a genial and well-disposed Emperor in Constantinople for a multitude of reasons. First, he would have a deep-rooted distrust Frankish crusaders' intentions. Second, he has a marital alliance with Romanos and it's a matter of honor and realpolitik to preserve his rule. Third, the Byzantines historically would have been more accustomed to dealing with the slave trade - one of Crimea's chief sources of revenue. Fourth, Byzantium can serve as a counter-weight and intermediary between Georgia/Bulgaria and Crimea.

It might be more of a betrothal as Simeon would be 11 at the time, so who would be be bride.
