Dark magicians are allowee but it would be preferable to keep them limited to very few characters.

2) i noticed that some decks have synchro, xyz, and link summons and they've been accepted. Can i assume this is tacit approval for future special summons beyond the timeline of GX?
3) does the deck HAVE to be archetype based? IIRC Chumley didn't have an archetype but a theme of Australia.
4) will tag team duels be a thing?

He enjoyed playing the game since childhood but his parents pressured him to study so he did just that. He would give up playing the game until he watched the duels fought between Yuto and Kaiba. He was awestruck at the amount of skill of the two duelers and thus began his own adventure in the game. He borrowed his first cards from his friends and started to enter tournaments with them. From his occasional winnings, he started to develop his own deck until his current one. After creating his own deck, he started winning more of the tournaments until achieving what he would call success. He became relatively well known and was considered skilled in the game. It was after his last tournament that he was offered a position as a teacher in the famed Duel Academy, and although he was only the head of Slifer Red he didn't mind as he would now be in the proximity of some the best duelists that had ever been graced to man.

Sorry, during GX synchro wasn't a thing (of course an exception could be made) but if synchro was allowed I would once again restructure my deck because frankly its just so powerful

I allow them, due to the fact that this rp takes place after the cannon timeline of GX, also cause I need them for my Traptrix.
