Your character is enrolled. We are currently all at the hospital, and have just received news that the school is going to get significantly less funding. There are currently two girls on top of our protagonist, and all involved are in very embarrassing positions.

Mouth-to-mouth, on the other hand, *is* a thing you do when someone's not breathing. Ideally, you'd check for obstructions, but yeah. CPR is to restart the heart (or try to, anyway. failing that, it is supposed to at least keep blood moving.) and is a last resort (mainly because, if you're doing it right, you almost certainly *will* break the person's ribs due to the force you have to use.).

Yes, I understand, and I concur. I was CPR-certified. It's designed to counter heart attacks and similar heart problems temporarily, until better medical techniques become available.
