The Yakumos are an old family, tracing their lineage back to the days of the Ashikaga shogunate, and being among the few remaining Ninja clans that weren’t wiped out by Oda Nobunaga and serving the Tokugawa shogunate, belonging to the legendary Kōga clan of shinobi (though whether the relation is familial, or by mere apprenticeship is a subject of you getting your ass kicked if questioned). These days, the Yakumos are whispered to provide their elite assassins to notorious crime syndicates and special operative forces around the world, as they have done for hundreds of years. Of the current branch of Yakumos, there were three elder brothers, and one young daughter. Though, due to the Yakumo patriarch’s blindness (and some whisper, onset senility), Ren was treated as one of the guys, and she couldn’t be happier. Ren was Kiyoshi’s other childhood friend, but the childhood friend that never really moved away. Sure, she occasionally had to go on vacations, or studied in a different city, but her home was always down the street from where Kiyoshi lived, and her two older brothers (Twins named Hayate and Hayato respectively) often were seen with Kyoshi in his younger years, the three being a source of youthful shenanigans.

As for Ren herself? Well, it wasn’t until puberty that people realized that “he” was actually a “she”, but that certainly didn’t stop her lifelong goal of becoming a personal trainer. An injury however, did. This was where Kiyoshi and she hit it off as besties, for Kiyoshi helped her get over her insecurity of not being able to be an Olympic athlete, and even reconciling with her father. Despite what many people may tell you, Ren considers Kiyoshi as “yet another brother”, and designated drinking buddy and “the only person who can legally slap any drunk slut who tries to get in your pants”. Unlike most sister arcetypes, while Ren is protective of Kiyoshi, often acting as a chaperone during any dealings with females, she doesn’t spend the entirety of her day doing Kiyoshi related activities. Her tomboysih, upbeat nature has earned her a throng of friends from both genders, and often hangs out with pretty much all the girls except for Tekira and Otome. The former she considers a rival to her dominance as a muscle-girl and swolest chick in (insert wherever we are), and Otome because she acted like “a stuck up bitch”.

However, when Tensai came in, she has taken quite an interest in the waif genius. Perhaps it’s out of the fact that she was raised on old fashioned mech anime, perhaps it’s because she needed someone to bum off for homework and Josei needed a chaperone, perhaps...just perhaps she might swing for both teams.

For now, she’s just the girl who will most likely out-race your car, beat you in arm-wrestling, drink you under the table, and totally wipe you in Clash Companions Sprawl (in that order).

Okay good, looks like the first day of this RP is Ren and Anahita having another wild party... and with Ren forgetting she's a girl and awkwardly flirting with every female that she thinks is willing.
