Personality: Utthor had no time for excess humility, and he regarded it as being just as poor a trait in a Jedi Knight as excess pride. He is very blunt, airing his opinions and theories in front of others, even when he had no evidence to back his claims. Among his other traits, he is easy to anger which is a trait shared by most Wookiees and often times prioritizes a mission before his personal health.
Skills/Abilities: Uttohr is a swordmaster that is well versed in Ataru and like all Jedi has been trained in the basics of Shii-Cho. Being a Wookiee has also given him an advantage over his other enemies in pure strength alone. He is average when it comes to force based abilities that don't help improve his movements and strength in combat
Equipment: He has a standard lightsaber hilt that is constructed out of Brylak tree wood and it has an orange colored Kyber crystal. He also has his robes from his days as a Jedi master.
Bio:
Uttohr was born on 212 BBY on the Wookie home World of Kashyyyk. Although he has no memory of his parents as he grew up in the Jedi Temple at Coruscant. He was a Wookiee with great force potential and high midi-chlorian counts in his bloodstream. During this time he was put into a clan with several other Jedi Initiates. From a young age he was trained in the way of the force by the Jedi Master Yoda, and who even at the time was still ancient. At the age of 10, he had proved himself as one of the top initiates in his class. He would be among one of the six that would travel to the Jedi temple on Ilum to find his own kyber crystal and to forge his own lightsaber. Upon arriving at the Temple, the younglings would endure their first test of skill, where they were tasked with clearing the entrance to the Temple, which was often blocked by fallen snow, ice, and other debris. When, the younglings gathered at the heart of the Temple, where their group leader, Yoda, would lead them in a lecture on the nature of the kyber crystal, lightsabers, and their place in the lore of the Jedi. As the sun rose over the Temple, its light shined through a gap in the Temple's ceiling, where it was focused through a massive kyber crystal and melted the frozen waterfall covering the gates to the caves. Descending into the catacombs of the Crystal Caves on their own, Uttohr was encouraged to take great haste in the quest, for the waterfall would freeze over in a matter of hours.
Once Uttohr was inside the labyrinth he began to lose sight of the cave in front of him until he spotted a kyber crystal. Guarding the kyber crystal was a Terentatek. Being unable to fight it Uttohr slowly began losing hope in ever achieving the feat of getting a kyber crystal. Yet the Jedi code began repeating in his head especially the phrase, There is no emotion, there is peace. As the chant continued Uttohr began to calm down and focus on his task and eventually he would sneak past the Terentatek and grab his own crystal. When he left the labyrinth he realized that he was the last one to leave and the others had already exited the cave. Returning back to the Corvette the Crucible, Uttohr and his fellow younglings would be instructed how to create their own lightsabers by the ancient Professor Huyang.
When he returned to the Jedi temple he would take part in the Initiate Trials which he would pass and officially become a Jedi Padawan of the order. He would be apprenticed under the Jedi Master Tyvokka. He had impressed Tyvokka with his skills in form I of lightsaber combat and not his ability in the force. There he would be taught further about the ways of the Force and the use of the lightsaber in combat scenarios. Uttohr during that time learned and began to practice form IV of the seven classic lightsaber combat form. He and his master would constantly be on the travel during this time and Uttohr himself would visit Kashyyk for the first time since he was taken away as a babe by the Jedi Order. He would practice his combat forms and would duel his master and fellow Padawans almost daily. It was his fanatical devotion to the craft of perfecting the lightsaber that drove him on to become a knight. It wasn't before long that the would gain the recognition of being a skilled fighter. He would, however, continue to learn under his master until he reached the age of 40. In 182 BBY Uttohr would take the Jedi Trials. There he was overseen by the council and the battlemaster as he progressed through the trials. He would face many challenges during the trials but he would eventually pass them. After the end of the trials, he was led to Tranquility Spire where he would spend a day and night in deep meditation within the preparation room inside the Tranquility Spire. As the time came to ascend to the Hall of Knighthood, Uttohr would enter the darkened chamber and kneel before the Grand Master of the Order and have his Padawan braid severed.
During his knighthood years, he would travel around the galaxy and once again would return to the planet Kashyyyk. He would go on many quests that were given to him by the council and not once did he fail them. Often times however Uttohr would travel alone and travel mainly to the outer rim. There he would attempt to bring justice to the suffering worlds. He would land on planets and attempt to stamp out piracy whenever he could. In 160 BBY, Uttohr would befriend a young initiate called Kadaro Cogfla, who was a human from the planet Tatooine. There he would spend time talking with the initiate in the library and between his missions and his trips Uttohr would spend the remaining time with him. When Kadaro passed the Initiate trials in 154 BBY Uttohr would ask the council for permission to be Kadaro's master. Kadaro would accept and together Uttohr would pass on the lessons that his own master passed to him while teaching Kadaro his own form of combat. They would travel together as master and teacher for 10 years together, and during those years they would visit many cities and planets in the outer rim. They would fight pirates, Tusken Raiders, and minor Cartels. In the year 144 BBY Uttohr would nominate his student to the Jedi trials, which Kadaro would pass. When Kadaro joined him in the ranks of Knighthood they would continue traveling together to the far-flung reaches of the universe. He would also participate in the tournaments where he would usually get in the top 20 each time.
Throughout the years Uttohr would continue to hone his skills in dueling and his force powers, and in the year 100 BBY, he was granted the rank of Master for his services to the Order and his attempts to bring justice to the suffering. He would return to the Jedi temple on Coruscant to get a new student. During his visit, he would choose another padawan and again he would bring him to the outer rim to hunt down pirates and others that cause suffering towards the people there. This cycle would repeat until 33 BBY where he would be sent with his fellow Master Mace and another 10 as a strike force to the Yinchorri system. There he would engage the Yinchorri in several battles which always resulted in the Jedi's winning. After discovering the Yinchorri high command and taking them down Mace Windu would report this to Grand Master Yoda. In 32 BBY Uttohr would return to Kashyyyk to discover that another Wookiee that had high midi-chlorian counts. He would send this young infant named Gungi back to the temple on Coruscant. He would return back to Coruscant in 23 BBY only to be sent to Geonosis a year later to help attempt to save Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Kenobi. A large group of Jedi was killed during this attempt and when the new clone army arrived, he would lead a squad to attack the droids. He would fight in many of the battles in the early war before returning to Kashyyyk in 20 BBY to help organize the Wookiees for the upcoming battle. He would serve in the frontlines with the other combatants during the battle of Kashyyyk. Then he felt the loss of life among the Jedi before noticing his former soldiers aiming their rifles at him. Doing the only logical thing he would cut down the men that he had fought with since the beginning of the war. He was helped by the other Wookiees and was eventually reunited with Yoda and Obi-Wan-Kenobi. There he would travel back to the Academy with Yoda and Obi-Wan-Kenobi. There he would see the dead bodies of the younglings and other fallen Jedis that were littered in the temple.
After Yoda's duel with the new Galatic Emperor, Uttohr would return to Kashyyyk briefly before leaving the planet after the Empire caught wind of his existence there. He would once again travel again across the universe, always attempting to avoid Imperial detection at every planet. The only time that he would stop his travels would be attempting to rescue a fellow Jedi, and resupplying/refueling. He travels would take him to the far into the unknown regions of the systems. He would stay there for several years going from system to system. He would stay in the Chiss Ascendancy for 2 years before moving on. He would eventually find a way to the planet of Ahch-To, where the Jedi Order had first started. There he would live in exile for 4 years before moving on again as he felt another Jedi's force. Not wanting to lose it to the Dark side he hurried to where he felt it. He would discover the Jedi Padawan Gungi a few moments before an Inquisitor appeared. Not wanting to lose another Jedi and fellow Wookiee to the dark side, so Uttohr began a duel with the inquisitor. Uttohr would disarm and knock out the Inquisitor in the end and escaped with Gungi before the Inquisitor would wake up. He wouldn't kill him as the code required a Jedi not to kill an unarmed opponent.
He would end up continue the education of the young Padawan Gungi in the ways of the Jedi. No longer having the texts and the technology of the temple, he would teach Gungi the ways of Ataru, Way of the Hawk-Bat. It was the only form other than Form I that Uttohr knew and could perform in battle. He would once again meet with Obi-Wan-Kenobi in 17 BBY on Tatooine during one of his trips in the outer rim. He had stumbled across Kenobi after his duel with Hett. Stopping to greet the former Jedi Master, Uttohr learned that there were other survivors out there. He would briefly stay on the planet before departing with Gungi. On 0 BBY, he would feel the death of another force user passing away. It was also during this time that he learned about the Rebellion and what happened at Yavin. He would make Gungi a knight on 4 ABY for he believed that the young Gungi was ready for knighthood. He would travel with the new knight to the Rebels that were gathering for the battle of Endor. There he would join Luke Skywalker and the other Rebels, but instead of attacking the Death Star II he would fight with Gungi on the planet of Endor. In 5 ABY he would join in the Liberation of Kashyyyk. During this battle, he would once again fight with fellow Wookiees. In 11 ABY he would watch Luke restart the Jedi Order, but he quickly grew disgruntled and felt discontent at the New Jedi Order. Uttohr felt it was a mockery of the old one as they no longer followed the procedures of the original Jedi Order. They married and had romantic relationships with others, which was unacceptable in the original order. Even Skywalker who was trained by Yoda one of the oldest Jedi masters married. The disgruntled Uttohr would return to Kashyyyk in 14 ABY with Gungi.
