Guderian watched into the glistening sun as he sat on his chair. He was judging Germany's answer to the worlds anti tank guns. The panzer X, or the armadillo as he liked to call it thanks to its shape. He heard the shells scream across the mock battle field and shredding an already wounded Jagdtiger, the parade around him applauded but he had been interrupted by his right hand man Emil Ferdinand. He saluted and handed him a letter after exiting his kubelwagen. Heinz nodded before reading the letter's contents:

To: Our glorious Fuhrer
From: The chief of the Gestapo; Enrich Schmidt

"A soviet scientist tried to cross the border yesterday offering nuclear secrets for asylum. he says that if we were to apprehend him and send him back to his nation he would be executed for crimes against the state and he is prepared to give us what he knows for citizenship in our glorious Germany. This would, without a doubt increase tensions between us and the superpower but it would also put us on an even playing field so that bloodthirsty Stalin can take his iron curtain somewhere else. The scientist awaits at the border for your decision.

Heinz examined the letter thoroughly, ignoring the tank that was now crushing a car. The notion toyed with his mind, he didn't want another war, but he didn't want to be weak. After finally deciding he signalled to Emil "Let him in, i would like to speak to him myself".

Chiang Kai-shek prepares to fly to New York for a meeting of the United Nations Security Council. He does this because of the increasing tensions in Asia could cause a war to break out soon. He leaves his vice president Mulan Chang in charge until he got back.

Exiting the plane at Newark Liberty International Airport, Kai-Shek is greeted by a courier, who presents his identification to his guards. "Greetings, your excellency, and welcome to New York. Prime Minister Howe of the United Kingdom would like to extend his invitation to you for afternoon tea in the garden of the Plaza Hotel. Shall I tell him you'll be going?"

The scientist opened the door and entered into guderian's office, escorted by two guards. Heinz offered the man a seat to which he expected. Guderian began the talking;

"So you are willing to tell us everything you know to live here?" Guderian asked while polishing his Luger The man nodded, obviously too scared to talk. Heinz asked another question; "What did you say the brutes where to do to you if you were to end up back on their soil?" He leaned forward, watching the distaste and fear in the mans eyes, his eyes began to well up as he began to talk "They'll...They'll kill me and my family. I have a 3 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. Please dont send me back!" Heinz at this moment would be very sympathetic towards the man if he hadn't heard the faint beeping noise coming somewhere in the room. The scientist's speech turned into incoherent babble and before Heinz could mouth a word of warning. The scientist exploded. Knocking everyone in the room out and killing the Russian.

Guderian woke up in a mix of emotion as he was being carried away from the scene by his SS. Was this a Soviet attack? He didn't know but what he did know is that whoever planned this attack would pay a great deal. It was lucky for him that this "scientist"'s bomb was blocked by his desk and so he had no injuries. The next day, guderian sent a letter to the UN;

Our glorious fuhrer was attacked by a terrorist in the Reich stag yesterday, we think that the attacker was sent from the USSR, we demand to know why this attacker was sent if it is from the USSR and that investigations to take place into who did this, we find it greatly offensive that instead of discussing this matter you are kneeling to the USSR and negotiating things that do not concern us like the existence of our state.

Immediately he notices several uniformed security service officers standing at the entrances, blank stares on their face, and a lack of any other people inside the garden except Howe, sitting at a table alone. "Greetings, Mr. President. It is an honor to finally make your acquaintance. Do not be alarmed by the lack of other guests here, I paid the staff to have this room vacated so that we might have a talk in private. Now please, take a seat. We have much to discuss." He motioned to the wooden chair across him at the table, in front of which there was already tea poured out and biscuits.

China continues its military modernization replacing old outdated weapons with new models. This includes ships, guns, tanks, and other military equipment. The Republic of China buys 2000 B-29s and 600 B-36 bombers from the United States of America.

After 6 months of intense fighting in Hanoi and Da Nang between Indochinese rebels and French military forces,the rebels finally push French forces out of the two cities. The rebels continue to launch guerrilla attacks against French military units causing heavy casualties before disappearing back into the jungles of Indochina

"Perhaps next time we meet, I will bring Chinese tea." Chiang announces out loud.
