To the Governments of France and China,
Greetings! It is unfortunate that I should have to message you under such circumstances, but I must express disapproval for your conduct in Indochina. I do agree that the region should be split into one or more independent countries based on the principles of self-determination established by the UN, the only true equality an oppressed people can have is independence. With that in mind, I fear that China cares more about fighting communism than helping the people living under it. Sarawak supports China in its anti-colonialist endeavors, but hopes to find a solution with minimum bloodshed.
With this in mind, I would like to propose the creation of safe-zones in selected regions to minimize casualties and create a safe haven for internally displaced peoples. They would be monitored either by a UN task force or a third party or equally by both sides. This would not be a ceasefire across the entire front, but rather, several demilitarized pockets to be left untouched. I regret that you can not come to a peaceful agreement, and hope the best for France, China, and the people of Indochina.
With hope for the future, Prime Minister Abang Langkau
To the United Kingdom,
Your Majesty, it is good to speak with you. I am glad I was able to send this letter to London rather than your former capital in exile. All of that aside, while we have become independent of the Empire, we do not wish to fully abandon it. Our past is with the British, and so will our future be. With that in mind, we would like to propose several deals in regards to your territories of Hong Kong and Singapore. We would like to create mutual consulates in these cities, while allowing them to create consulates in our capital of Kuching. This would help us better communicate with the local governments, and likewise, them with ours.
On another note, we also like to propose a series of deals to build up on the economic relationship between these cities and Sarawak. We would like to negotiate for a free trade zone consisting of Sarawak, Hong Kong, and Singapore while also loosening restrictions on freedom of movement. Historically, trade and movement of peoples have been common, but bureaucracy has held us back a great deal. I don’t want to give you the impression that we are trying to shift these colonies away from you, or that we are trying to integrate ourselves back into the empire. Rather, I merely want to build up on historical relations in the context of a fully independent Sarawak to benefit all parties involved.
Wishing you good luck in rebuilding your homeland, Prime Minister Abang Langkau

Letter of His Majesty's Office
Dear friend, I have read your letter and thank you for your well wishes and your commitment to the future of the Empire. I believe that in the days and years to come Sarawak will soon have an important role to play in the affairs of both Britain and the world. I will see to it that your request for consulates in the territories of Hong Kong and Singapore is carried out and likewise for free trade zones. Integration of Sarawak into the empire is something that, contrary to what you seem to expect, would be preferred by myself and my subordinates, and I believe that greater economic freedom within the Empire's remaining Southeast Asian possessions is something that would facilitate greater cooperation .
I understand, from the reports I have received, that your country is facing a refugee crisis from the ongoing Indochinese conflict. I wish to offer support from the Colonial Office in the form of fifty million pounds sterling and a battalion of the Royal Engineers to aid in construction of camps and other infrastructure for refugees. If there are issues with assimilation of these refugees, something conservatives are concerned about, so I hear, then a program can be facilitated by which some are expatriated to Britain to assist in public works and reconstruction projects.
I also have a special offer for your government, attached below.
[After reading, please detach and securely dispose of the section of this letter below the marked line]
The Indochinese conflict has been of great interest to Imperial strategic planners, who have selected it as the ideal location for a test of a new method of counter-communist espionage. It is believed that out of the refugees bound for Sarawak, several will inevitably have been members or sympathizers of nationalist rebel groups such as the Viet Minh. Our intent is to arm and train a unit of these exiles to return to Indochina, and from there further impede the ability of the Communist Bloc to maintain control over the region. On July 2, 1950, confirmed Viet Minh leader Mr. Ho Chi Minh was extracted by a unit of the Royal Commandoes 3rd Brigade from Nha Trang in a level 2 classified operation. He is currently on board the CV HMS Sovereign in the South China Sea. With your agreement he would be transported to Sarawak to help oversee the training of this brigade of Indochinese exiles, codename Operation 39, along with advisers from RC 3rd Brigade and arms and munitions from Army stockpiles as is deemed sufficient. Ideal training time for the unit before deployment is 6 months. God Save the King.

To: Maurice Thorez of France
From: Primier Joseph Stalin
Greetings,
I am personally writing to you to inform you that the Soviet Union will support you and the other communist nations through political, military, or industrial aid. The growing conflict in Korea, the coup in Mongolia, the West's attempt to frame us for the bombing at the Reichstag, and now the rebellions in Indochina have not gone unnoticed. The Soviet Union will provide France with the research and scientists necessary to build a nuclear weapon to defend against the capitalists. However, as you are well aware of, attaining such weapons will take years of research. And with the damage caused by the Second World War in France, I fear it will take even longer. We will assist you in this endeavor, but please note that we follow a policy of deterrence and self-defense. Nuclear weapons will only be used as a last resort, but I know this won't be an issue for you, Comrade Thorez. And one last thing: We may have to reach a compromise with the west on Indochina, since the situations in Korea and Germany are now becoming tense.
Signed,
General Secretary and Premier Joseph Stalin of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Issue 6543, 1950
The terrorist attack in the Reichstag was not ordered or supported by the Soviet Union. Although the USSR's relations with the Third Reich have not been amicable following the end of the Second World War, we have not sent a "scientist" to infiltrate the Reichstag and attempt an assassination on the German leader. The Soviet Union has requested a United Nations Security Council meeting to discuss the antagonism both our nations feel towards one another. Sending a suicide bomber would not do us any good besides further antagonizing the West. We condemn the attack, as unnecessary losses of human lives is something any nation can agree is tragic. The USSR will cooperate fully with any investigations the United Nations decides is imperative to bringing justice. May peace be upon us.
The USSR has received reports from reliable sources that the capitalist coup in Mongolia and the rebellions in Indochina have been supported by the Republic of China. It is now our intention of seeking a formal declaration from the United Nations condemning the coup, as we believe this violates Chapter VII of the United Nation's charter. In order to protect our fellow communist nations from capitalist attacks, we announce to the world that we will be forming a treaty that acts in the same way NATO does. We ask all communist nations to sign this agreement at the upcoming Communist Congress that is currently being held in Moscow, the capital city of the Soviet Union.

Nehru had landed in Moscow. He was received by the Soviet officers. When Nehru reached the runway, the Soviet and Indian Anthems were sung. A convoy arrived to take the PM to Novo-Ogaryovo.

Now the USSR was making claims in lands of his Reich and was conversing with the UN about it, he wondered whether it would have been easier to have just fought until the allies reached Berlin so they could have their slice of the cake. However this wasn't the Second World War and he couldn't allow his people to doubt him, so he made an announcement via radio.
"The greedy communists, although claiming they had not staged the attack on our glorious furher, are taking action on the rightful occupancy of Poland and chezchlovakia. They are coaxing the western 'powers' into stealing the land that we gained truthfully. We declare that if the communists try to remove us from our land that we will retaliate with military means. Thank you and rest easy as we will not lose a second time to such vile and uncultured people."
It was a big risk but Guderian was ready to take it for the sovereignty of his people and country.
