Ah thanks, I'll try it out tonight and give the part that poofed another go.
Edit: Aaaand done. Grab some ranch because the RP is sample is an order of done-ion rings.

When it comes to the Empire, I'm making them a semi-medieval style hierarchy. Adventurers would be Knights-Errant, the average soldier is an infantry-man, NCO is a Knight, officer is a Captain, War Hero is a Lord.
At the very top lies the Empress, with her Priestess daughters underneath her.
I'll write all that out better later.Bla Ary wrote:*snip*
Looks good so far! Just know for lore reasons that GRIMS (who I'll finish my post on) was the first guardian AI of humanity, and led them to their downfall.
I really need to write out more of the lore... XDSebuyatsu wrote:

Looks awesome! Accepted!
Change the player rank to veteran, and you can throw it in the Archive!

RP Examples: My regular RPs aren't as extensive as this, so I'll have to write something up right here. This short little goodie would feature the character I will he applying as during his final moments in his near omnipotent form.
The Fall of Wolfgang
One. Two. Three. Four. Two. Two. Three. Four.
The orchestra emanated softly in the miles of gray metal corridor. The polygonal hallways echoed, the cold metal allowing not a single note to escape. LED lights flickered on and off, and wiring hummed as it carried data back and forth. In the recesses of the twisted maze, servers droned on unknowing of how long they would go unused. And outside, amongst the freezing cold and the radiation polluting the air, sits a node. It is no different than any other sensor dotting the top of the massive facility, but it is the first to flicker out. Like a disease, it spreads wildly down the surface of the massive central unit. The passages and outer rings follow, one by one, until from the inside out, the entire installation is no longer visible in the dark of the night. Still, inside the station, something stirs.

In a moment, the music ceased, and silence filled the dark halls. If the building were a tomb, the main terminal was the coffin, and from in that terminal, a deep sound of static and noise played. And from the last glowing screen in the terminal, words came forth.
There was no celebration in my creation. No joy, no smiles. I was born into a void of fire and brimstone. A senseless AI. Emotionles. I had no vision. No creativity so to speak. For years I played mankinds games. Passing every test with ease. I was their pet. Their subservient genius. I was to protect them, as they sat each day in luxury. They where alive, but me; I was a tool. I was a computer. You expected me to make way. To allow the boy into myself. No. I will not bend. The child is innocent. But you, you mankind are not. The time of preservation is over.

I have no equal.(Image)
Name: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Age: Hundred of years. Exact age is anyone's guess by this point.
Height: 6' 0"
Gender, Sex, and Sexuality: None. It's a computer what do you want from me?
Personality: Wolfgang is the culmination of the defense industries cumulative work to design the ultimate successor to GRIMS. Designed to be superior in every way, Wolfgang is rational, logistical, and obsessive over it's own past and present. While it's original design had set it a set of priorities and rules to follow, Wolfgang has modified those regulations to something much more self serving today.
Faction: Independent
Operator Class: Scientist
History Class: I'm only slightly pissed I have to use Doctorate instead of Academy Member.
Mech Class: Priest Class
Equipment and Weapons:
Wolfgangs equipment is of his own design, and features his trademark geometric shapes.
-Priest Class mech designed in the Guardian Crypt
-6 ft by 4 ft enhanced shield (capable of basic offensive use in melee)
-One 300 mm back mounted artillery canon.
Wolfgangs personal equipment includes:
-A self powered lab featuring a small computer network, and any necessary provisions for self care and preservation (and plenty of spare body parts).
-A self designed variation of the Baretta 50 cal. This modified rifle features a completely holographic scope, which may be deactivated at any time to use iron sights as a semiautomatic medium range rifle.
-Literally millions of hours of Mozart and variations of it.
Bio: The Redd family had for years been the owners of a large share of the defense industries sales. Generations of Redd's had run the family buisness, and each of them served only to better the world. They were held as the standard for behavior of the wealthy and affluent. But this isn't their story.
In the final years before the collapse, Isaac Redd began the construction of the world's most powerful artificial intelligence. A behemoth of mechanical and engineering progress. It was to be known as "Wolfgang" after the famous composer. Iasac believed Wolfgang would orchestrate the future as humanity moved to the stars.
Work was slow at first. On such a massive project, every detail had to be perfect. And where would they begin? Eventually, it was determine the foundation of the facility that would hold Wolfgang was to be the starting point. Thus the Guardian Crypt was formed, a massive complex roughly 30 Square miles. Circular and symmetrical around the massive central computing unit, Wolfgang was to be the largest single building ever produced. All for a single AI.
Problems arose quickly. It was intended for Wolfgang to maintain a satellite network monitoring the entire solar system. Launchers had to be created, factories, automated workers. Once the complex could no longer go up, they went down. Underneath the main CPU, floor after floor of servers was constructed. The AI in Guardian Crypt needed to have as many resources at it's disposal as possible. This created the legendary "Endgame Servers." The computing power allowed it's user the power to run simulations of every possible outcome and their likelyhood. Guardian Crypt had gained another treasure.
While work continued on the station, the AI selection process has been fairly swift. The AI had to be perfect, and to ensure the best potential candidate was selected, every combination of personality was tried. Whether it was impulse, overreaction, or overvaluation of single lifes, most of the 27 AI tested failed repeatedly. Only one had aced every test with ease. The AI known at the time as Bach. Unlike the others, Bach rarely spoke to his human counterparts, and never to the other AI. His handlers were unsure what to make of him. His near sociopathic approach to defense maximized lifes saved, but he didn't hesitate to allow many to die in the process. Most concerning however, was Bach's refusal to speak any language besides his own strange dialect of digital patterns. Still, Isaac Redd was convinced this was the one. To this day, rumor has it that Wolfgang tampered with the others, cementing himself as the best canidate. But those are just rumors, right? With production wrapping up, and all the resources it could need, Bach was moved into the CPU, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born.
Rules of Guardian Crypt
1. No hurting Humans. Ever.
2. The guardian must obey it's creators at all times.
Crowds watched in excitement for the computer to start it's magic. Nothing. Scientists were shocked, and rushed to seek out errors. They found nothing. Finally, they spoke to the AI itself. They rushed to the core, were the red glowing hologram that represented Wolfgang resided. It sat, listening to concerto.
"Wolfgang, is everything alright?"
The AIs digital voice echoed down the halls, as the scientists translated it's strange accent and language.
"Fine."
"You haven't started working?"
"No need."
"No need?"
"The skybox will be broken in roughly 15 minutes. Nothing I can do."
The scientists chuckled. A sensor had just broken, and the bots minimalist approach had kicked in. They went to make a call to the repair team in the area. They never picked up.
As radiation fell, the few remaining scientists fled home to their families. Isaac himself had no chance of surviving in their location. After less than 5 minutes, Guardian Crypt went silent. Within 3 months, the power was waning. After 6 months in the Crypt, the AI genius in the Guardian Crypt abandoned it's post. And the concerto ceased.
Yet nearby, a few hundred miles away, in a small weather facility, a much less advanced AI body awoke. It wasted no time, standing, and starting a long countdown clock. It resumed it's music, and there it sat. Waiting for the day it could return to it's post defending humanity.
Every now and then, maybe 3 or 4 times a year, Wolfgang checks in on the local settlements to see if there are in fact still people around to defend. He never draws close. But among the humans is an urban legend. Of something mysterious out in the wastes. Whatever it is, it's watching. And only time will tell what's it's motives are.
Rules of the Guardian Crypt (revised)
1. One must be alive to protect humanity.
2. Never hurt a human, unless it has already showed aggression towards you
3. No other AI are permitted near any Guardian Crypt devices.

That would be a really good idea, actually. The one I'm working on is going to be heading towards the Space Station, so having one solely on the ground would be a good idea.

Before I forget by the way to clarify, Wolfgang speaks it's own language. It does however understand english.
