Upon realizing that I do not own the province Vienna is in IRl. I have decided to move my capital

The Akragas Federation
Relationship: Akragas is largely administered as something closer to a protectorate than a colony. It has a legislature (representing the 42 nomes along the river plus various Themes (regions) in the non-river region) that meets in Tyras and largely governs its own domestic policy with a ceremonial Exarch (Governor). However, most foreign and military matters tend to be left in the hands of the Ithran Government (provided they pay for it).
History: Technically founded as a collection of city-states along the Akragas (Amazon River) starting with Taras on Hypsas (Marajó) bordered by the Akragas and Hypsas (Para Rivers) some centuries ago. Many Ithrans sailed into the Akragas in search of riches (and tended to find disappointment). However, many more found it as a place to start a new and quickly set about creating small settlements along the shore. The loose collection of colonies became a place of safe haven for many Ithrans when they were out of favor with Hegemons and Autokratoras. It wasn't until the late 1600s that the Atreids Dynasty realized the potential of this land and began to aggressively colonize (through prisoners) it under the belief that it held many resources. Many of these prisoners fled to lands beyond the nomes where they formed their own settlements that became Ithran lands after several sweeping pardons by latter Autokrators. It remained nominally under tight Ithran oversight for many years, but in practice was largely left to its own devices in favor of richer colonies. The Ithran Republic formally granted the Nomes and Themes a charter of incorporation, allowing them a great deal of self-governance.

The Colony of Notia
Relationship: The Ithran landowners run the island as a personal kingdom and viciously put down almost all attempts to industrialize so that their native servants have nowhere to go, but the fields. However, this makes them overly dependent on Ithra for manufactured goods. In turn, most of Ithra despises the system on Notia, but relies on the money that the colony makes for the homeland.
History: Discovered, lost, forgotten and rediscovered dozens of times across Ithran history, Notia is named for the southern wind, in honor of being the furthest south most Ithrans ever settled for much of Ithran history. Its harsh climate and combative natives made it difficult to fully settle, causing several early attempts to fail and colonies wiped out. It would not be until Atreids Dynasty that the Ithrans finally won out. Arriving with a large army, the Ithrans wiped out the native kingdoms and enslaved the natives (or contracted servants as slavery was illegal in Ithra). Notia is largely run as agricultural colony, relying on cash crops and contracted servants.

The Protectorate of Macrobia
Relationship: A complex one with several native kingdoms run by local rulers and populated almost entirely by natives who owe loyalty to Ithra through the Therian Autokrators who supply resources to Ithra in exchange for weaponry and goods. A relationship built on Ithra requiring resources, Theria knowing it couldn't manage Macrobia or survive imperialism without Ithran aid, and the interior realms knowing they do not have the resources or infrastructure to survive without the other two.
History: The most recent contact between Theria (coastal Macrobia, so named because their worship of a war goddess similar to There) and Ithra was established toward the end of the Eurypontid Dynasty (1400s). Theria and Ithra established relations that continued through to the Atreids Dynasty (largely through independent Ithran merchants claiming to represent Ithra). Under the Atreids, Ithra spent a great deal of time arming the Therians for conquest in exchange for resources. With Ithran arms and training, Theria was able to conquer much of the coastal lands. However, the interior remained unexplored until an expedition organized by the Ithran Republic was able to breach the mighty Macrobian River and proceed inland. The Republican government arranged agreements with a number of local chiefs and peoples, weaponry for resources. Eventually creating a number of mini-kingdoms across the Macrobian Basin that owe loyalty to Ithra. The Kings of Theria, for their long service, were granted the title of Autokratoras/Emperor over the region whom all lesser kings owe homage.

this doc is the history document and is open to be edited by anyone. Please do not troll and delete things we can always restore previous versions.
A couple rules:
Do not add new sections (i.e. Copper age is the next time period after Neolithic, eventually it will go to every millennia). Only mods can add new sections.
When adding an ancient Civ highlight or use a different color font to distinguish it
when adding your personal history highlight or use a different color font to distinguish it.
Pre-Neolithic information is focused on movement of humanity.
Mods can remove an event at will.

Amauritan Recusantry, or Protestant Recusantry, is an offshoot of the Recusant Faith. Protestant Recusantry in Amaurita is not dictated by a single religious entity, but instead is comprised of fragmented bodies dictating scripture. According to the 1930 Census, the largest branches of Protestant Recusantry are Episcopalian Recusantry (16.8%), Baptist Recusantry (15.4%), and Methodist Recusantry (14.2%). Unlike it’s eastern counterparts, Protestant Recusantry in the United States has slight influences from Judaism, such as the incorporation of several sections of the Torah into Protestant Holy Scriptures, such as the Book of Genesis, the Talmud, and several other books. Other traditions that were absorbed from Judaism by Protestant Recusants vary, depending on the region and church.

Amauritan Protestantism has its roots in the colonial era in the United States, when the Ergonian settlers colonized what would become the United States. During and after the Great Awakening that occured in the 1770’s, the stress on personal piuty grew as mainline Amauritan Recusants, such as the Methodist and Baptist Churches broke away from the Catholic Church in Conston. Further separation occurred in the 1800’s, when the Catholic Church and the Protestant Recusants in the United States drifted further apart during the political turmoil of the Amauritan Revolutionary War. Henceforth, the Amauritan Recusants became known as the Protestant Recusants, due to the protests against the Catholic Church in the years leading up to the Amauritan Revolution since the Great Awakening.

Protestant Recusantry is the dominant faith in the United States, with 27 million adherents as of the 1930 census, representing roughly 80% of the Amauritan population.

Here is the section of the church of the east waiting to be approved

History: Missionaries from Recusant churches immigrated along with the trade routes of eastern Shinguo and eventually set up their first temples and churches in the local area in the year A.D 1200. This was only the first wave in which made its presence in this country. The main wave of conversion really occurred in the second wave when Ergonian missionaries met with the Buddhist and other religious adherents and incorporated main elements of their practices in the 1400's. This religion teaches the essential worth of all religions in this region, and the unity and equality of all people and their prophets sent from God in Shinguo. There are a couple of prophets in which are honored such as Lao Tzu, Tengri, Maidalis, Zorothustra and the Buddha.

Recusantry is very unique particularly in the far east due to the fact that it incorporated Eastern culture in its teachings. Buddhism, Taoism, and practices from the Manichean and Zoroastrian faiths are incorporated as part of the fundamental texts in which followers should live their life. It is the rule of conduct for adherents. The five noble truths and the eightfold paths are fundamental in the adherents path to heaven or nirvana. Taoism is also treated as a fundamental part of this religion in terms of how adherents value martial arts, traditional Chinese medicine, feng shui, and qigong. Zoroastrianism is also prevalent in terms of the worship of fire in the local temples and it has also inspired the worship of the fire in this country in the church in addition to its practice of sky burial. This faith grown in popularity after the daughter of the missionary/prophet Zarathustra married into the line of kings in this country and convinced him to convert. This religion is also one of the 4 state-recognized religions.

All of these other religions below complements each other and helps create the narrative of the recusant in the orient (Church of the East)

Han folklore religion: A local folklore religious practice that existed in 2050 BC when the lord Gun Yu united the seven chiefdoms. (Chinese popular religion) or Han folk religion[1] is the religious tradition of the Han, including veneration of forces of nature and ancestors, exorcism of harmful forces, and a belief in the rational order of nature which can be influenced by human beings and their rulers as well as spirits and gods.[2] Worship is devoted to a multiplicity of gods and immortals (神 shén), who can be deities of phenomena, of human behaviour, or progenitors of lineages. Stories regarding some of these gods are collected into the body of Chinese mythology. By the 11th century (Song period), these practices had been blended with Buddhist ideas of karma (one's own doing) and rebirth, and Taoist teachings about hierarchies of gods, to form the popular religious system which has lasted in many ways until the present day.[3]

Chinese religions have a variety of sources, local forms, founder backgrounds, and ritual and philosophical traditions. Despite this diversity, there is a common core that can be summarised as four theological, cosmological, and moral concepts:[4] Tian (天), Heaven, the transcendent source of moral meaning; qi (氣), the breath or energy that animates the universe; jingzu (敬祖), the veneration of ancestors; and bao ying (報應), moral reciprocity; together with two traditional concepts of fate and meaning:[5] ming yun (命運), the personal destiny or burgeoning; and yuan fen (緣分), "fateful coincidence",[6] good and bad chances and potential relationships.[6]

Both the present day government of Shinguo and the imperial dynasties of the Qin and Zhou tolerated village popular religious cults if they bolstered social stability but suppressed or persecuted those that they feared would undermine it.[10] After the fall of the empire in 1911, governments and elites opposed or attempted to eradicate folk religion in order to promote "modern" values, and many condemned "feudal superstition". Tengrism: Tengrism, also known as Tengriism, Tenggerism, or Tengrianism, is a Central Asian religion characterized by shamanism, animism, totemism, poly-, and monotheism,[1][2][3] and ancestor worship. It was the prevailing religion of the Turks, Mongols, Hungarians, Bulgars, Xiongnu, and, possibly, the Huns,[4] and the religion of the several medieval states: Göktürk Khaganate, Western Turkic Khaganate, Old Great Bulgaria, Danube Bulgaria, Volga Bulgaria and Eastern Tourkia (Khazaria). In Irk Bitig, Tengri is mentioned as Türük Tängrisi (God of Turks).[5]

Khukh tengri means "blue sky" in Mongolian, Mongolians still pray to Munkh Khukh Tengri ("Eternal Blue Sky") and Mongolia is sometimes poetically called the "Land of Eternal Blue Sky" (Munkh Khukh Tengriin Oron) by its inhabitants. In modern Turkey, Tengrism is known as the Göktanrı dini ("Sky God religion");[7] the Turkish "Gök" (sky) and "Tanrı" (God) correspond to the Mongolian khukh (blue) and Tengri (sky), respectively. According to Hungarian archaeological research, the religion of the Hungarians until the end of the 10th century (before Christianity) was Tengrism.[8]

Tengrists view their existence as sustained by the eternal blue sky (Tengri), the fertile mother-earth spirit (Eje) and a ruler regarded as the holy spirit of the sky. Heaven, earth, spirits of nature and ancestors provide for every need and protect all humans. By living an upright, respectful life, a human will keep his world in balance and perfect his personal Wind Horse, or spirit. The Huns of the northern Caucasus reportedly believed in two gods: Tangri Han (or Tengri Khan), considered identical to the Persian Aspandiat and for whom horses were sacrificed, and Kuar (whose victims are struck by lightning).[11] Tengrism is practiced in Sakha, Buryatia, Tuva, and Mongolia in parallel with Tibetan Buddhism and Burkhanism.[12] This religious practice also incorporates local Thai and Javanese shamanism into it's practice.

This religion was received and adopted nominally in the core of the empire in the 1200 AD due to invasions from the Turkic north by Ghenghis khagan who eventually married into the prevailing line of emperors. This religion is widely practiced in this country with around 40% of the population following it and is one of the state religions of the country.

History: Tengrism arrived in Shinguo in the 1200 when nomadic invasions from the north came down south and converted many denizens of the area.

History Denied: You cannot self-vassalize your nation (ala becoming a Dominion) Osphen has already used his NPC claims to form 2 vassal NPCs he cannot OOCly get more with new players. Clearly this would cause issues if this was done after the IC was up and NPCs just vassalized themselves to another player. As such Hastra must be independent from Osphen, that is not to say you can't be pro-Osphen or have a been a dominion in history but you cannot at IC start be a Dominion.

Overall: Approved, you can now participate in history!

Basically 1920s russia but the communists were less radical and formed a democratic government with the whites. Nowadays the government is working hard to modernize the country, which had been progressing far too slowly under the emperor. the white/green coalition and the reds are the two main forces in the government.

Anything to add?: I got the population based on the stats of a depopulated Russia, then dropped a few more million(since I wouldn't have as much pop as IRL rossya, which I based off the idea that in a world with no Old/New world, and if Western Canada's prairies were in a similar position to western Russia IRL, they would populate and develop similarly, due to being actually very similar in geography and climate.

For religious factbooks they do not require a history or denomination section until after canon history is done (as in the google doc is at 1933).
Yet it is still required to have beliefs and practices filled out before it can be added to the history.
of course if something happens historically you can edit the beliefs/practices after the fact just ask for approval of the edit first.
