The Story -
Baldwin, an large trading vessel passing by a waterworld known as Planet 4546B in a gravity slingshot maneuver which you are based on is hit by a unknown energy that causes your ship, The Baldwin to crash into a rather very large crater that was formed from a huge long-dormant Volcano. Somewhere along in the history of the planet the Crater had filled with sediment and became the center of a diverse and thriving ecosystem. The area inside the crater houses various biomes and due to the diverse biomes houses creatures from plankton all way up to Leviathan-class creatures. The area surrounding the crater is known formally as the "Craters Edge" and only has plankton and Leviathan-class predators rather than huge creatures and has no resources what-so-ever. Your lifepod managed to escape from the ship before it crashed into the crater. Multiple lifepods were activated and by a stroke of very good luck landed in the crater with the ship. You and others have survived however you'll need to make contact with them. You have the option of not participating with others but the planet is a very unforgiving hostile place that is dangerous. Be careful.

Subnautica: The Plunge is a character-based roleplay set in the world of Subnautica which has never been done in a roleplay before. The player will have access to beginner equipment which is equipment that would most likely be given to them based on their job. Everyone regardless of occupation will start off with a scanner-device to scan blueprints and creatures as well as a hand-held fabricator and blueprints for a wall-mounted one. There are blueprints scattered around the map that way the RP encourages exploration and if you play your cards right and get blueprints for one of the various vehicles in the RP, you can help others with your schematics and speed up your rescue.
Oceanic System - The Oceanic System is a post by the OP that will explain the weather for the day and if people are successful in searching for a blueprint. It can also tell if someone encounters a friendly creature or if they encounter a hostile creature.
