Colonel Yan Tao was performing a loyalty test. Considering that you are here, he has passed with flying colors. Now stand down or you will have to appear before a tribunal to present justifiable cause." Agent Tor Wiggin said to the MPs, causing them to lower their weapons and returned to their posts. "Once a lawyer, always a lawyer. Thanks for approving that little test or I would be stuck in a holding cell while traitors walk through these halls, free to cover their tracks, destroying any evidence that they cannot edit or spin." Colonel Yan Tao said to Agent Tor Wiggin as they walked to his new quarters. "Cao Cao's top brass, with the exception of that ungrateful bastard Lang, was killed by Corpsmen infiltrators. Alliance Intelligence has an obvious vested interest in this investigation." Agent Tor Wiggin said to Colonel Lang Tao.

Priceless works of art from the Han, Sui, and Ming Dynasties covered the marble walls and redwood shelves, a display case containing a mannequin dressed in medieval Chinese armor, a mahogany spice rack containing spices from Earth, a tiger skin throw rug on the limestone floor, a stained glass window depicting the various victories of the Tao family, and jewel encrusted porcelain tea cups and roast duck on pearl encrusted ivory plates sat on a Chilean pine conference table covered in the finest silk with chairs of cypress padded with Iguana skin cushions. "I see that you noticed the wealth my family had acquired over the generations. One of the perks of being the son of an aristocrat is the inheritance, even if I have to split it with my uncle." Colonel Yan Tao said to Agent Wiggin. "Any good news? I don't think you came here just to chat." Colonel Yan Tao asked Brigadier General Fredrick Stone as they sat down for tea, Nezha having eaten a wing and taken a sip from every cup to see if it was poisoned. "We were able to regain contact with the Cao Cao ground forces in the neighboring provinces. It will only take a few more weeks before communications are fully reestablished." Brigadier General Fredrick Stone replied.

"My troops have reported that they have lost contact with the Forbidden Bunker mere minutes after reestablishing communications. Should we send in rescue teams?" Major Zheng said to Admiral Edward as Zodiac Fleet assumed position. "No. Relay this message to every regiment and squadron located around the Forbidden Bunker: the Cao Cao Military Headquarters has been destroyed by RCMC Infiltrators. Block off all mountain passes and other possible escape paths until the 2nd Dangun gives you the all-clear." Admiral Edward said to Major Zheng as the transports headed to the Tang Mountains to reinforce the surviving troops.

"Is everyone alive?" Colonel Yan Tan said to the other four survivors, hearing Nezha cough nearby, helping her out of the rubble. "I am still alive, but we need to get Agent Tor Wiggin to a hospital ASAP." Brigadier General Fredrick Stone said to Colonel Yan Tao as a squad from the 1st Napoleon rushed forward, the medic doing what she could to stabilize Tor Wiggin's wound. "How did this happen? This is the Forbidden Bunker. There shouldn't be anyone to cause an explosion as big as this one, considering that the kitchens switched from gas to electric last month due to paranoia and budget cuts." Colonel Yan Tao said to Brigadier General Fredrick Stone as the 3rd Manhattan and the surviving Cao Cao troops engaged in brutal combat with the Infiltrators, the medical officer being caught in the crossfire.

The infiltrators superior training giving them the advantage as one squad acts as distraction and the some of the others flanked them, killing them in one shot, yan Tao making a run for it and his bodyguard right behind with Tor on their shoulder, and Fredrick right behind. Fortunately for the Colonel, the infiltrator aiming for him was killed by the 1st Napoleon squad's sniper. As the battle raged on, the tanks and mechs, having to stay outside the Forbidden Bunker due to the rear entrance only being wide enough for a single platoon to enter or leave, turned the tide, the lack of anti-mech weaponry being the doom of several Infiltrator squads. However, before the battle was decided, alliance transports arrived, the 2nd Dangun exiting the vehicles and immediately attacking Infiltrator positions. In order to avoid capture, the surviving infiltrators either swallowed their suicide pills or blew their brains out. Colonel Yan Tao and Nezha headed to the neighboring Zhou province with his regiment while the 1st Napoleon and the 3rd Manhattan, as well as some volunteers from the local Cao Cao armored divisions, boarded transports and headed to the Jade Turtle Fleet.

Whatever remained blended into the background some even assisting the commander out “we need to move our asses, current weapons of the enemy is unknown and we don’t know if they have anti-air” said the infiltrator pilot of the transport as he got ready to bite down on the cyanide pill minutes away from the jade turtle, so it would activate the deadman’s trigger “for the emperor!” He soon yelled out as he activated the pill that was drilled into his tooth. The explosion killing him and the commander along with whatever ships were nearby and anyone traveling with them. There was no way the commander’s luck would save him. The debris from the explosion soon hit a dreadnaught of the jade turtle causing major damage.

Smiled, he had full access of the bunkers databases, the mechs were soon destroyed by suicide bombers, dedicated to the cause. Now no one can stop him, he is the only one with level ten access to the banks and the AIP have yet to shut him down due to the belief he is dead. He transferred all the money in the banks to the RCMC banks. Only level ten access can stop his actions as this will make to where the Cao Cao can no longer found anything. “Checkmate” He said as the process finished and he broke the terminal. He started walking out, the infiltrator’s squad lead running up to him and handing him a cloaking device “Odin has captured nan yanoi, the AIP were unable to retake it, due to it warp placement” Lang smiled and soon headed for a RCMC transport that looks just like an AIP one.

Night came to be and within seconds, screams were heard as the humans could only use torch light and fire to see, because HEL had cut the power. The assassin began killing people one by one jumping in and out of warp, some settings up explosives on anti-air and mech emplacements. Soon after the explosion of the air and mech defenses, HEL’s transports broke ground and the mech were released, they acted as wild animals destroying everything in their way, HEL walking up on the rear of them, as she delighted herself watching her children murder. “Let none survive” she soon pulled out two canisters off her back and and placed on the ground as she twisted and pulled the tops, the locked in place and a neurotoxin spread throughout the city. It is highly powerful against flesh and organic life, causing the ones hit by it to die slowly and painfully.

"It looks like we missed some Infiltrators. Not that it matters, Nezha. They already lost the battle." Colonel Yan Tao said to Nezha as the remaining Infiltrator suicide bombers were taken out by the 2nd Dangun and the surviving Cao Cao mechs.
Sergeant Jacques Pierre
Fortunately for Sergeant Jacques Pierre and Brigadier General Fredrick Stone, they were not on the same transport as Commander John. "This is Sergeant Jacques Pierre to Jade Turtle Fleet. One of our transports blew up. Most likely cause is sabotage." Sergeant Jacques Pierre said over the comms. "We know. There was an attempt on my life. With my assistance, Angel has already eliminated all Infiltrators aboard the Zheng Fei. Once you are onboard, the Jade Turtle Fleet will be heading to Bacchus. That fortress moon has recently come under siege and we are the only fleet that can arrive in time." Admiral Diaochan said to Sergeant Jacques Pierre as the transports approached the Zhang Fei, the Zodiac Fleet deploying a squad of fighters to intercept a transport that attempted to leave Cao Cao without providing a valid clearance code.

The pilot lighting a cigarette “they weren’t expecting a small fleet like us, that was their downfall and the black holes prevented reinforcements” he smiled as he survived the first of many deathwatch missions “I wonder what augmentation they’ll give me” he took a puff from his cigarette as he activated the vents “hey, mad man, prepare for them to try take it back”

Captain Carmen Silversmith saw the Tempest disable a dreadnaught with an ion pulse gun before destroying it. Judging by the disarray of the Alliance Fleet over Ọya, there was only one conclusion, one that chilled her to the bone. She hailed the Tempest, waiting half an hour before getting a reply. "What in God's name have you done? Illusion Wave Devices are forbidden technology, the very possession of which is considered a war crime under the Bacchus Accords and RCMC law. If the public finds out about you breaking the taboo against its use, there will be riots and mutinies, draining our reserves of any manpower currently not fighting on the frontline." Captain Carmen Silversmith said to Alexander as the short-lived battle reached its climax, her voice filled with worry.

“Your foolish to think that I would use such, but your close, the cannon is based off its original design” as he tossed the massive dreadnaught to the side “so why haven’t you began the ground assault yet and worrying about what I kill the enemy with” his mech looked down at the small ship “as long as we are the victors their end will come, and as for everyone, they are brainwashed” he said knowing well enough that he has absolutely control over everything in the RCMC “and we will kill anyone who goes against us”

"All systems have rebooted." Taizong said to Admiral Diaochan and Angel. "According to these reports, Tao Qian has fallen. Everyone who could be evacuated was evacuated before the Machine Army cut the power and breached the walls. Now their forces will be able to regroup on the continent. Fortunately, with Zodiac Fleet in orbit and Admiral Edward taking control of all operations on the planet until the Cao Cao Military can establish a new headquarters, we can safely leave orbit. As for the 1st Napoleon, the Francia System is located on the Charlemagne Road, a trade route that will take us right to Bacchus in the shortest amount of time. We can stop there, get replacements for the men who died on Cao Cao, and head to our objective the moment the 1st Napoleon is at full strength." Admiral Diaochan said to Angel as the transports docked.

"You're wrong. Not everyone is brainwashed. The majority of those loyal to the Corps do not need to be. As for the ground forces, Admiral Raeder is waiting until the storm over the mesa has subsided before deploying them. According to sensors, the turbulence is too dangerous to send transports around this time of year." Captain Carmen Silversmith said to Alexander as the remnants of Puma Fleet were destroyed, Demeter Fleet beginning to blockade the planet, the crews celebrating the defeat and destruction of their long-time rival as the Wraith and the Damocles headed to the Charybdis Badlands, all mechs and fighters having docked.

She and Connor hid in an old destroyed building. “I think the coast is clear, we need to move now” she said to Connor she put him over her shoulder, an assassin had gotten him pretty good, but she managed to defend him and patch him up

"There's a luxury yacht. Forty clicks from our current position. If we can make it, we should be able to rendezvous with the 52nd Cao Cao before the fleet leaves." Connor Jax said to Six as they heard a Machine Army patrol, the two bolting from wreckage to wreckage. Angel has assigned Connor to a detachment of the 505TH deployed to Tao Qian to assist in the evacuation. While they succeed in that goal, the Machine Army had breached the walls, assassins having slain the machinegun crews and then disabled any artillery that relied on electricity. Despite inflicting heavy casualties, the 505TH detachment was overwhelmed, Connor and Six barely managing to get to minimum safe distance before their mechs exploded.

“We need to get to evac now, or we will be stuck on planet and die” she kept him close to ensure that he was safe, as long as he stayed within range of her sword she can protect him. Sensors started going of in her mask and she soon covered his face “neurotoxin, put on your mask, swiftly”

After finding a gas mask dangling from a broken fire extinguisher cabinet, he put it on, the two heading through the gas towards the luxury yacht. "Good call. The Dioxion Chloride goes right through the filters of a flight suit, hence why the Bacchus Accords banned its production and use. I don't know how the Machine Army got their hands on it, considering that the RCMC destroyed all known stockpiles on account of it killing more of their own men than it killed the enemy." Connor Jax said to Six as they exited the gas cloud, the mech pilot taking off the gas mask once it was safe enough to breath. They continued heading to the luxury yacht, narrowly avoiding detection from Machine Army patrols. Once they were onboard the vessel and dispatched any android not linked directly to the luxury yacht's main supercomputer, Connor Jax began activating the engines and navigation systems while Six activated the defense systems and shield generators, attracting the attention of a nearby patrol. Seeing the approaching androids, Six naturally ran to a gunner's position and pointed the twin Tesla guns at the patrol.

“Move is out now, I’ll provide cover fire” she said to Connor as she shot at the robots she could see, the Tesla gun short circuiting the machines. The boat soon moving out as fast as they could get it. “We need to get off this boat, it basically a tracking device and could be used against us, we need to switch to something manual”

“Seems some survivors made it out, whatever, we’ll get them soon” she said as she soon returned to their main facility “so have you secured what you needed” she asked her second hand before sitting down in a makeshift throne and began rearming “our assault went wonderfully”

"Don't worry. These things usually come with a manual override for insurance reasons. I just need to find it and we are home free." Connor Jax said to Six as he headed to the bridge, the engines roaring to life, the whirring of the navigation systems as beautiful as a talented opera singer humming "Fly Into The Danger Zone". After half an hour, he found a box with the words "In event of emergency, break glass", breaking the glass. Connor Jax, knowing that the twin Tesla guns only had one charge left before Six would have to reposition herself, turned the handle, switching the ship to manual control. The luxury yacht took off as Six used up the last charge and headed into the atmosphere, flares being dispersed as a missile barrage streamed towards them, any missiles not fooled by the flares being destroyed by the yacht's own missiles. Several squadrons of Fighter-Bombers approached, the luxury yacht's point defense lasers taking out the ones that were out of range of the Gatling Neutron Cannon that Six was aiming at them.

“After this I wanna know who the fuck owns this military grade tech” she said as them bombers left, returning to base for fuel and much needed repairs “we need to get to evacuate site Charlie and move out” she frustrated as she got off the gun trying to think of her next move

Many of the Cao Cao Military's top brass are either former warlords or the vassals of deposed ones, so they are bound to flaunt their wealth at one point or another. Even Yuan Lao, may he rest in piece, was guilty of this. His quarters were practically a chamber, his uniform and combat boots were made from panda hide dyed Imperial purple and dark mustard yellow, and he wore a lion skin cloak into battle. As for Extraction Site Charlie, don't worry. We will be reach the outskirts of Hua Xin in a few hours at the speed we are going." Connor Jax said to Six as he continued flying it southwest, the shields protecting the luxury yacht from anti-air fire.

Sure, we can take it with what forces we have now, but holding it is an entirely different matter." Captain Carmen Silversmith said once the fleet had entered the warp gate. The fleet arrived in the Gaiman System, a star system where the offensive had stalled, AIP and RCMC ships engaging in brutal combat. The Pratchett was the first to engage, firing its neutron cannons at the Alliance ships, taking out four destroyers with a single volley.
