The infiltrator with the contract pulled out his gun and shot Ming in the head, blood going everywhere as lang tao who was handcuffed next to her covered his face from the blood “holy shit!” As he backed away quickly the infiltrator grabbing her by her head and tossed her to the side “now then, do we have a deal or shall we just kill you, cause I’m still a little itchy for the trigger” he chuckled as he pulled out the document “if you like not having a hole in your head, I suggest you sign”

The radiation storm had passed, the convoy now in artillery range of Fort Gongsun Zan. A serpentine android emerged from the clouds, firing lightning at the convoy, taking out mechs and armored vehicles. The convoy and Fort Gongsun Zan filled the sky with anti-air fire, their combined firepower shooting down the mechanical beast, the flying war machine crashing and burning like a radioactive Hindenburg.

The 3rd Manhattan disembarked from their transports as the 1st Napoleon jumped out of their transports and pulled the cord on their parachutes, the night sky filling with flak, machinegun fire, and the explosions of heat-seeking missiles. They were approached by a Cao Cao artillery regiment. "I am Colonel Yan Tao. May I know what you are going here? The frontlines are miles from here." The leader of the artillery regiment said to the 1st Napoleon and 3rd Manhattan. "I am Brigadier General Fredrick Stone. RCMC infiltrators have seized the Forbidden Bunker and the 3rd Manhattan has been deployed with the 1st Napoleon to retake it." The leader of the 3rd Manhattan said to Colonel Yan Tao. "We will provide all the backup you need. My mother is trapped in there with the rest of the council." Colonel Yan Tao said to Fredrick Stone before motioning for his men to mobilize.

“Damn, the hell was that, we need to get off This planet” six said to A-4, not wanting to be on the planet any longer than was needed, alliance transports began flying down. Spark surging from the sky to the cenotaph

She watched in enjoyment as she was being rearmed and upgraded, she was fully integrating herself with the mech, she was making it her own body. Having the jets replaced with more fuel efficient while keeping good thrust, while fixing the armor to tank more damage. She never like ranged fighting, she always preferred seeing her prey dying expression, it brought peace to her mind.

The infiltrator putting his gun against another council member’s head “I could kill you right now and we still get what we want, these are blood contracts, but it’s easier if you just sign” pushed the gun hard against his head “all it takes is a trigger pull and your gone with the dust, just like the one over there, so make a decision” he smiled as his finger got close to the trigger but then he pulled the gun away “but if you sign we can ensure your safety along with a full freedom in the RCMC” he then put the gun at his head again “so I’m waiting for your decision” his finger on the trigger “ten seconds”

"Are you deaf? Have you not heard the explosions or feel the rumbling? The Alliance has already sent forces to take the bunker and you do not have the manpower to hold the Forbidden Bunker. If your carrot had any value and your stick had any threat, it is now gone." Air Commander Sun Bao said to the infiltrator who pointed the gun at his head as the rumbling got larger and the explosions louder. "He is right. Sensors and intercepted communications indicate that, the Cao Cao Military forces in this area are mobilizing faster than expected. The situation is becoming unwinnable and anyone who signs our terms of surrender will most likely be executed for it." One of the other infiltrators said as the holographic map displayed the disposition of Alliance forces in the bases surrounding the Forbidden Bunker.

He entered his mech as its thrusters powered on and systems check went off, it was time for its greatest flight in years. The tempest began moving from the space station that held it.

Another mech still sat idle. The pilots snoring echoing over the com because his head was resting on the button.

"Drake! Wake up, get off the horn and get moving!"

The pilot, one Bart Drake, snapped awake. Looking around while wiping a little drool off his chin and fishing a bottle of liquor from under his console.

"I'm awake, goddamn it. Can't let a guy sleep one off without getting screamed at."

Taking a swig from the bottle, he kicked the control panel of his mech. The poorly maintained (And stolen) rust-bucket sputtering to life.

"Cripes, my head is killing me. Bilge-Rat, moving out. Let's blow some shit up."

He finally got moving, following behind Alexander.

“Oh I heard it forever ago, I knew the moment radio silence hit they would come” he smiled “it’s time for a blood contract” one of the others grabbed a syringe and walked up to the council and took their blood “we can’t have you getting out Scott free and our deaths, just one of many” the man laughed as he killed the man with one shot to the head “gun them down” the man with the syringe packing the blood up into a box as each of the council members were gunned down except Lang Tao “now to use you as a hostage, once we are out of here and have these contracts passed, you will have the full power of Cao Cao at your hands” the infiltrator with the syringe cloaked and ran to an escape route “now mr.tao keep the act up” they put him in a chair and tied explosives to him along with seating the other members next to him in their own chairs. The corpses should keep the play up “now to make sure they don’t suspect you” the infiltrator shot him in the leg and the shoulder twice while others unloaded a few extra bullets into the corpses to make it seem more like a raid “now have fun” he cloaked Along with the squad as they vanished from the bunker using hidden routes

The mech opened a massive warp gate leading the fleet to the hell front, this shall be the place where the tempest rules over all, it shall take everything the AIP can throw to even come close to scratching the monster. The moment the tempest hit the front gun fire was everywhere.

"Wait a minute. The missiles are still firing, but the guns have gone silent. Something is off." Brigadier General Fredrick Stone said to Colonel Yan Tao and the Cao Cao forces advanced on the Forbidden Bunker. An artillery crew fired an EMP round, taking out the SAM sites. The 3rd Manhattan's mechs began sawing through the lock to the escape tunnel, the 1st Napoleon pointing their guns at the door. "I have one question. How the fuck did RCMC infiltrators gain access to the Forbidden Bunker? Only a military officer with Council level clearance can grant that kind of authorization." Colonel Yan Tao said to Brigadier General Fredrick Stone as the door to the escape tunnel was pulled open. "I think you answered your own question. We will have to ask each and every member of the council once they are rescued." Brigadier General Fredrick Stone replied as the 1st Napoleon stormed the Forbidden Bunker and began mopping up the semi-automated security drones the infiltrators had activated before leaving. Once the area was secured, the sole surviving member of the council, Unit Commander Lang Tao, brother of Vice Admiral Ming Tao, was brought into the interrogation room for questioning, bandages barely covering a stump where his leg used to be.

The fact that the rest of the council is dead leaves you as the only suspect and so far, things are not looking good for you, considering that you spoke ill of the Lao family. I get it. Our armies were being crushed by Alliance forces, our allies and vassals had declared for Yuan Lao, and my mother's surrender was the only way that saved the Tao family and the Wu Dynasty from extinction. Yan Tao said to Lang Tao as he pulled out a large frog with pale spots on its back. "Meet Lithobates revelare, known in layman's terms as "the Scout Bullfrog". It is an empathic amphibian from Nyx, the jungle moon of Diocletian that is blanketed by darkness for a month, using its limited telepathy to detect and avoid predators. For example, if a large predator was a mimic, its spots would turn yellow, alerting the Chameleon Tarantula, its protector and the largest spider in the known universe, of the danger and they will both retreat to the burrow. Theoretically, this makes them the perfect lie detector, as their ability is less prone to failure than machines. Now that we have gotten introductions out of the way, did you receive any reports of coded transmissions?" Yan Tao said to Lang Tao as he pointed the Scout Bullfrog at him.

I loved my sister, I am grateful to the Lao family for rescuing us, but I was the one who raised her, I loved her!” He tried standing but fell down in the chair howling in pain “the fact I’m alive is luck or their failure to recognize me as alive, I passed out the moment my leg was taken out” he began to cry “I raised her ever since our mother died, she tried to stop them and I wanted to stop her, but it was too late” his voice shaky as the memories flowed in of his past “and you accused me of my sisters demise, then you might as well kill me so I can be with her again...”

However, If I have to repeat myself again, I will have to put the Scout Bullfrog away and bring out the truth serum, so you better answer this simple question with a yes or a no. Did you receive any reports of coded transmissions?" Yan Tao said to Lang Tao as the medics helped the sole surviving member of the council sit up straight, his voice filled with irritation at his uncle being uncooperative with him.

He looked at him, eyes swollen and water marks on his face “yes, between me and my sister, she was supposed to be due and it was on a secure comm link to ensure no-one but me and her knew” he began breaking down again “I was gonna be an uncle to an amazing baby girl...” he then slammed his fist into the table “I’m a worthless coward, I could have saved her, b-but...” he broke down again. The medical team saw this as obvious signs to stop, cause he was too much in a catatonic state to even be injected with truth serum especially with the wounds he had. Anything gotten here was probably going to be it for a long while, they would have to monitor him for nice long time.

Yan Tao said to Lang Tao as the spots on the Scout Bullfrog turned yellow at the mention of the baby girl. The medics carried Lang Tao to the infirmary with the guards. "That ended sooner than expected." Brigadier General Fredrick Stone said to Colonel Yan Tao as the Colonel put the Scout Bullfrog back in its terrarium, the amphibian crawling under the belly of the Chameleon Tarantula as both moved back to the burrow. "Don't worry. I will be asking him more questions once he gets better, provided that it is not an act. In the meantime, General Han Wu will be assuming command, considering that my uncle is currently medically and psychologically unfit. I have ordered my men to inform him of what has happened at the Forbidden Bunker once we have reestablished communications with the rest of the Cao Cao Military." Colonel Yan Tan said to Brigadier General Fredrick Stone.

She stepped out to the hanger and looked at the blood red sky and laughed “my children...” soon a lot more mechs came out from behind her along with machine troops “...today we shall take the night and exterminate the humans from our planet, we shall devour their flesh and set fear into their hearts!” She looked forward towards the city that the carrier was bringing them to and night was beginning to set in “exterminate the insect!” The machines repeated her “rip them apart!” the machines repeated her “devour the flesh!” The machines repeated her even louder as lights on the machines body’s changed color from blue to red

The Machine Army transports were bombarded by anti-aircraft fire, most going down in flames as their fighter bomber escorts exploded or crash landed outside the walls of Tao Qian. "I warned you about what would happen if we made the final push before securing our supply lines, but you didn't listen. Sometimes, I wonder why I bother trying to advise you on strategic matters." ZX-600 said to Hel in a snarky tone.

"I am thirty-four. That would make my mother fifty-six, meaning that she would be too old to have children." Colonel Yan Tao said to the alliance medical officer as a Cao Cao medic entered the room with the results of the DNA test performed on the unborn child. "According to this report, my mother was not pregnant. A previously unknown twin brother was located near the stomach and parasitically draining her blood." Yan Tao said to the medical officer as he handed over the DNA test results.

He looked at him, the explosives in his chest should activate the moment he broke the pill, he was one of the officers of the infiltration unit that was supposed to ensure that the investigation was to go as plan “Interesting, cause her last check up it didn’t bring up any such child” he was talking about everyones monthly check up “you know menopause doesn’t kick in till 60s and 80s, that wouldn’t be the case century or so ago, but thanks for your medical advice that you have none of, so may we get along, because they just signaled over comms to that they found something in housing of may Ming”

“Good the decoys are dead and the positioning of all their gun placements are revealed, I left you with your own army so find it while I remove the biggest obstacle, they still have mechs and we need them” the main force moving in transports underground as the cenotaph finish repairing itself as it began drilling slowly, to stay unnoticed “today is their end, we will stay underground to kill them”

If we continue throwing away our newly developed units, we will not have the resources to build the starships needed to escape Cao Cao in the event that the situation on this planet becomes unwinnable." Z-X 600 said to Hel as he continued to observe the situation on the holographic map.

"What supplies? You destroyed the Alliance freighters! As for Fey, don't make me laugh! Corps policy is to avoid martyrs whenever possible and last time I checked, the Pratchett and her crew are still considered heroes on Galahad, so killing any of us would destroy any support you still have on the industrial heart of the Aliiance." Captain Carmen Silversmith said to Alexander before the Prachett and the Tempest jumped to warp, Alexander having already boarded the dreadnaught.

"How were you able to get your hands on my mother's medical records? Doctor Song, her personal physician, doesn't trust outsiders as far as he can throw, so I highly doubt that he would hand them over to one. I will have to question you once my uncle answers the rest of my questions. Until then, you are confined to quarters." Yan Tao said to the Alliance medical officer as the guards rushed into the interrogation room and escorted the Alliance medical officer down the hall.

He looked at the tiny insignificant mech that floated next to him “who the hell do you think you are?!” He said making sure comms were cut “I could kill you and no one would bat an eye, not even your industrial heart, cause I have control of all of them” he then cut comms back on “mister, silver, if you act out of line again, i will see you are personally tried with treason” he said in dark tone “do you understand?” He forward as the dreadnaught joined his march “my word is absolute and no one can go against it, no matter how big of a hero you are”

“You mean the assassin units with me” they soon dug into a sewer pipe and the water inside gushed out as the soon emptied “perfect, assassin units exit now and execute the humans one by one slowly” the door on the transport opened as a thousand of fast moving machines ran out “remember I am a better strategic mind, now have your force attack the power supply” the transport soon backed up in their tunnels and dug down go for the encampments in the city, of which info she got from surveillance unit with the decoy “this will be the day we win, trust me, my love”

Captain Carmen Silversmith said to Alexander from the command center of the Pratchett right before she relayed a Priority One distress call from their destination: Ọya. Everyone in the RCMC had heard of it: a mud ball known for week long thunderstorms where RCMC prospectors had found ore that can be used to build everything from armor piercing rounds to heavy artillery mechs, a planet on the Hell Front where the situation was gradually becoming unwinnable. "It is good to finally see you, Alexander. I am Gĩchohi Ndirangũ, leader of the Ọya Loyalists. I am afraid that I have no good news for you. We have lost contact with General Aranthur and his troops. There is no one left on this planet to give orders to the RCMC. As per your instructions, the loyalists and the remaining RCMC troops have retreated to a mesa in the south to await evacuation. However, there is a large Alliance force making a beeline for our location. If you can send any reinforcements, please send every soldier, tank, and mech you can spare. We will need them if we are to hold the line long enough for everyone who can make it to the transports to be evacuated." A man in the uniform of a local militia, a commander judging by the markings on his uniform, said to Alexander before the transmission was cut off by atmospheric interference.

“We found our target and the start of our endless march” he smiled cutting comms with silver as he set the coordinates for their first grand attack. They shall snowball forward through them, gaining strength as we go. The mech soon left the dreadnaught and began heading for the planet.

"Sorry, but even if Doctor Song was willing to provide the medical records, the files you have requested are locked in a Data Storage Vault that requires three encryption codes to access. Miss Tao's dentist is currently working in a dressing station on the Hell Front and her therapist will be undergoing Cryogenic Therapy for the next six months due to the severity of the injuries she suffered during the Siege of Zhang Xiu, so I am afraid I cannot help you." Nurse Caduceus-9, the female medical droid that Doctor Song bought after firing his previous assistant for the incompetence that had caused the demise of a patient who was under the knife, said to the Alliance medical officer before ending the transmission.

He smiled ‘good, I can make up all the stories I want, I’ll have fake medical records made and pull him into my trap’ he thought as he got up from the comms station and went Yan Tao “our transport to the residence is ready, I’ll be waiting for you in the truck” he said as he came into the room. He was one of the three lead investigators and one of the two responsible to ensure that there is no hiccups in the game. The other one is the lead investigator in technology.

Nezha, take him to his quarters and make sure that he stays there." Colonel Yan Tao said to the Alliance medical officer as Nezha Tiānzhǔ, his secretary and bodyguard, escorted the Alliance medical officer to his quarters, everyone else in the hall standing aside upon seeing her, knowing that to interfere with the duties of a member of the Tiānzhǔ Clan meant death by a thousand cuts.

Nezha Tiānzhǔ said to the Alliance medical officer before tossing him in a dimly room and closed the door, the words "Authorization Code Required For Access" on the computer screen. He then typed in his code, the computer granting him access to the Forbidden Bunker's medical databanks. He scrolled down the file labeled "Ming Tao" and, while smaller than Doctor Song's, contained records that would be beneficial to the investigation.
