In the Canadian Constitution, if you read the fine-print, Canada is Crown land...Also the Canadian Army answers to the Monarch's Governor General, and in the UK the Army answers to the Monarch. So I don't see why the King couldn't declare a State of Emergency in both countries, and rule by diktat.

As a Canadian I can say there's more divides than that. In western Canada where I live there's a common feeling that the federal government ignores us and only cares about Ontario and Quebec. And this is something that's been going on forever and is only getting worse due to a common view in Alberta that the federal government under Trudeau is anti-oil. Alberta, Saskatchewan, and maybe Manitoba would probably try to separate given the chance. Assuming the west separated over long lasting historical grievances towards Ottawa and Quebec separated, there's no way Canada could remain a unified nation.

This isn't even mentioning the divide between the First Nations and the rest of Canada. Some of those would attempt a revolt I'm sure.

Agreed. But I'm not kidding about the whole "Canada is Crown Land" thing. It could theoretically happen. Which is what I'm trying to do in this RP. Doesn't mean most of Canada would remain under the King's authority for long. Its essentially the last collapsing vestiges of the British Empire, as I see it.

It doesn’t really matter because at this point Canada and it’s Balkanized provinces are all just npcs so unless if we’re gonna make a map of the world with all the npcs it’s pointless to figure it out the same could be said with Africa and it’s borders. At the moment I’m more confused at what he’s trying to reserve.

If nobody wants to start suggesting concrete measures to bring the UN back we could just conclude the conference as unsuccessful. These conversations are really heading nowhere.
