Sahara watched in silence as the tide of vampires burst towards them, opening fire once more with her Calico in staccato bursts of gunfire, joining the mechanical buzz of Mandel's machine pistol and the more intermittent bangs of Sienna and her construct's Colts and Jack's revolver, along with the crackle of lightning.
But mere gunfire was never going to do much against an onrushing horde; oh, vampires fell here and there, crippled by bullets striking their legs or outright killed by lightning or lead, but there simply wasn't enough firepower going down range as a good number of the horde was almost upon them, close enough that Sahara could see their strange eyes, dead and alive and angry all at the same time.
