"Put that down, Mr. Eric." He said. "She's obviously not a chicken."

He's not even all that busy with the research material at all as of yet, given it hasn't really even been longer then ten minutes since they arrived.
On that note: It's not even been ten minutes and we've already begun the process of destroying ancient history... I like this team already.

Well, maybe it's a fake ruin and the walls are ready to pop open and reveal we've all been pranked.

Kudos.

The ruins, the details, the runes, everything. I'm recording it down for later. Would you mind describing the area or linking to a post in which the area is described?

Some folks to the right passage and some to the left passage.... Hugh and Tripetta and a couple to the left.

By now I believe everyone has converged on the left passage. Jacky was the only one to go right, but he only examined one room before going to where the others were.

Anyhow, I posted and I hope I didn't write anything contradictory. I read through everyone else's post leading up to this, but If I missed something and anything I wrote was contradictory, please tell me so I can edit it.

The papers were not written by Driftwood, and the door is stone, just like the rest of the ruin.

I strongly recommend against a character that can't communicate. That never ends well as it just becomes, at best, tedious and, at worst, annoying. Also, are you sure you only want to start with one element? That seems like another unnecessary handicap. I mean, at least grab up wood in preparation to go towards blood.

Life Goal: To be good enough of her family name and legacy.
Favored Element: Wood
Elements Known: Wood, Air, Water
Degree Pursuing: Psychotheurgy or Necrotheurgy
Backstory: Born to a noble family, Elyria was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth and private tutors to teach her the best. She is an only child, to the dismay of her father who wished for a boy, thus he spent little time with her, then her mother passed during her birth. The little interaction with her family has lead her to be a bit controlling of those around her to force them to be at her side. She eventually found a way to control people easier then yelling, flirtation, she practised it often on the young men who worked for her family and found it was easy to control men with a few simple words and gestures. Her family is known for wood magic and when she showed signs of it she had strick training, she eventually learned a bit of air and water as well, when she turned 17 she was sent to the Academy to hone her skills more.
