@Kirkland

As Governor of New York, I will make sure that my constituents have the most affordable and quality healthcare across the nation. We will expand Medicaid (lower premiums) and lower prescription drugs such as insulin. We will as well offer free contraceptives to all women over the age of 16. Healthcare is a human right, and so are reproductive rights. GOP and Reed, I am coming for YOU. The Future is Female. #KirklandForGovernor

Bello was around the part of town where almost everyone knew him and the coffee was on the house to meet this Representative Emberton, and he killed some time waiting for him by talking to a couple of young ladies looking for some spiritual guidance.

Emberton walked in wearing his sunday best and was barely able to resist shaking his head as he saw Bello flirt with some young women in the coffee shop. He simply smiled and walked to the man "Reverend, its a pleasure to meet you."

Ebenezer waved goodbye to the girls and stood up to greet Emberton. "It is a great pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Representative, yes. Please, take a seat and let us discuss what you came here for, indeed." His voice was half bellowing like he was in the middle of a sermon, louder than a normal conversational tone.

Communities stuck in economic stagnation and poverty for decades can finally get lifted out, and the communities hit hardest by the Dudley Tax will have a pathway out of their troubles. But let's be honest here for a second - was anyone actually going to use that money for infrastructure and anti-opioid usage? No? Thought so.

Patricia Waterfield Rally, New York City

Image

Patricia was well aware that if she wanted to win the Progressive Primary, she would need to win New York City. It was the heart of all Progressive activities and had the largest amount of Progressive voters per capita. Her opponent already had an advantage in this way, being a City Councillor, but Patricia would flout her left-wing credentials in order to win the city in hope of being elected to the Senate. Local organizers spoke on-stage while she was getting her make-up done backstage. To finish it off, they pinned an 'Ally' button to her blouse, a nice touch to optimize the LGBT vote for Waterfield. The organizer began to wrap-it up on stage. "We all know her," he said, while leading up to her arrival on stage. "Let us welcome the progressive super-star herself, Patricia Waterfield!"

As she walked on to the platform, her supporters cheered along. They waved the campaign signs, some of them were home-made. Waterfield gave a hug to the organizer, gave her the microphone and promptly got off the stage. Patricia stood there for a few seconds, waiting to the applause to quiet down.

"Thank you for joining me tonight, my friends. When I started the campaign for Senate, I wasn't quite expecting the reaction I got. Usually an author can't get very far in any race, but I believe we have made very important leaps and bounds in the primary season. First of all, we got our name out. And second of all, we played it fairly. I've never been one to lead a dirty campaign, because those campaigns a more destructive, those sort of campaigns are built off a selfish nature to bring down the party with you. Even though when the primary occurs, voters will be choosing between me and Torrisi, I have always maintained a good relationship with her. She is truly as deserving the nomination as me, but, of course, I do believe I can fight in a more effective way to win the General election. That is what is at stake, my friends. Very early polling indications said the Republican Party may win New York. If they did that, it would be a travesty to the values of New York and principles we hold dear. It would give another Senator to aid in the political agenda of Williams and Kramer. That's because many of the candidates running in the Republican Party are Kramerites and are threatening the liberties for many people in New York. Including our latino, black and LGBTQI+ community.

That's what is at stake this election - the core of New York being lost to a far-right Republican. I want to fight back against these ideas, so I want you all to grant me the opportunity to rip them apart in the General election, rip them apart in the debates and fight on behalf all of our communities. Please give me that chance. I will not let you down, I will not let New York down. Because when it comes to New York, we can get better representation than this, so I will battle tooth and nail for my key campaign promises. One of these is action on climate change, lowering electricity prices and increasing employment in renewable energy. This is a large, untapped sector that needs to be utilized not only for New York, but the entire country. Solar power, wind power, water turbines, the list could go on. But our politicians are too weak to propose any of the sort. In this day, weakness in our politicians should no longer be an excuse on climate change. We cannot afford to burn fossil fuels like we are now, we cannot continue to all rely on CO2 guzzling vans. Build renewable infrastructure is one, but also subsidizing electric vehicles for the larger community. That way we can transition to a green economy and meet our Paris Climate objectives.

The next piece on my agenda is protecting our vulnerable communities. I want to introduce national anti-discrimination laws in hiring to ensure black, brown and other minority communities are not being targeted by unfair business practices. This includes businesses rejecting LGBT employees based on their sexuality. It means fighting for better rights and representation for the Transgender community. Make the process easier for them and introduce LGBT classes in all secondary schools to educate our children on tolerance. That's because hate is built on misinformation and the lack of knowledge, if we can stamp that out, we can build a more cohesive society built on love, not hate. I proudly call myself an LGBT Ally and I will always be on the right-side of history in that way. We need representatives we can trust to deliver a better society, because many of our older representatives do not know or understand the pressing issues in our communities. The civil rights battle is not over in this country. I will be the next representative to hold that torch and say that human rights need to be followed. Thank you all for listening tonight. I'll come down in the crowd and talk with you all after, I'm looking forward to meeting you. And, I'm looking forward to seeing you at the polls!"

Areen Ramalan Campaign Rally, Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania
Ramalan had been gone for a while now, no one knew where he was or what he did except his top campaign officials. This was his first rally in a while, and a lot had happened, especially the endorsement from Frederick Williams. Whenever journalists would ask about his absence, he would simply say “I don’t know where I was, go ask the Russians” in a joking manner. However, his campaign was back, and the rally in Mount Pocono was eagerly awaited by his supporters. He met a cheering crowd, some of whom were relieved to see that he was alive, and took the podium at the stage

“I’m back! Yes, I’m alive, I know you’re all relieved, but much has happened. First and foremost, I accept Governor Williams’ endorsement, he knows what is good for his state and has shown it numerous times. Williams is one of the few Republicans that cares about protecting America, and not hoarding lobbyist money like the majority of the party. We need to protect America as much as we can.

The Pocono region has been the victim of the job loss to illegal immigration for the past decade. Harrisburg has done nothing to prevent this city, and many other Pennsylvania cities from being destroyed by illegal immigration, the Pennsylvanian jobs taken. Illegal immigration must be dealt with accordingly, we cannot stand idle like the current government.

Mount Pocono is a city of tourism, from ski resorts to winter lodges to amusement parks, it has all. We need to capitalize on these industries, deregulate and make sure that the tourist industry, which is essential to the region, is not lost.

The opioid crisis is an issue that affects the young people in our country the most. While our state isn’t the worst at this, we need to combat this crisis head on. As governor, I pledge to make it much harder for doctors to prescribe harmful painkillers and whatnot. I will do whatever is in my power to make sure this crisis ends.

We need to focus on a harder approach to school choice. Too long have the so called “conservatives” of Pennsylvania stayed around doing absolutely nothing. We need to fully implement numerous programs in order to give parents the choice they deserve. Not everyone has to go to failing and outright dangerous schools, and not everyone has to pay exorbitant property prices simply because the home they want is in a good school district. We need to focus on charter schools and advocate many alternative schooling options. I promise to do all in my power to advocate school choice, there is no compromise on this issue. Far too long have Pennsylvania republicans gone too lightly on this issue, enough is enough!

I will not stand idle while powerful bureaucrats keep getting more powerful. My main campaign platform revolves around going back to the basics, to where we were when we were founded. Pennsylvania was the only colony at our founding where freedom, liberty, and justice were valued. We should not hesitate to show our state pride, because we deserve it. This is a state built by the people, not by the bureaucrats. As such, they sit there in Harrisburg, getting rich off of the crushing taxes. Taxes stop innovation, taxes do nothing but make bureaucrats richer. The people will not be victim to this anymore, bureaucracy should be on its way out!

Brantley supports raising the legal age to own guns, I think there is no problem with what it is currently. In fact, we must enshrine it in law, that everyone age 18 and above has the full rights to own a firearms in this state. Raising the age to own a firearm will make guns more alien to the general public, without knowing proper handling of these tools, raising the legal age will only do more harm than good.

My father was an immigrant from India. He was a skilled worker who came on an EB-1 visa. We need skilled workers in Pennsylvania, we need people who are ready to innovate from outside. What we do not need is unskilled foreign workers. They come in here and take our jobs, make local Pennsylvanians who do blue collar work to lose their jobs. We shall not tolerate this, nor should we keep it going. I promise to heavily restrict hiring standards on foreigners in Pennsylvania, make employment law tough so that only the absolute cream of the crop get to work here. We do not need unskilled workers stealing Pennsylvania made jobs. We do not need employers going to hire them over local Pennsylvanian workers just because they are cheaper. I will make sure employers think twice about giving up a Pennsylvanian’s job in favor of an unskilled foreigner, especially if they happen to be an illegal alien. I promise to make employment standards in our states go real tough on foreign born unskilled workers.

A statistic that we should all be proud of is that our state has the fifth lowest divorce rate in the country. We as Pennsylvanians must hold on to our traditional family values, and we are doing a good job of it. While the divorce rate across the country has skyrocketed, Pennsylvania has consistently remained at the bottom. We as a community must teach kids about family values and contribution to your family, and we can keep this streak going!

Finally, I want to talk about a heartbreaking statistic. Last year, 2016, there were 30,881 abortions in our state. That is completely ridiculous, the fact that abortion clinics are even allowed to give an abortion to those whose life is not endangered by it, or is a case of rape or incest, is appalling in enough of itself. 18.4% of pregnancies in 2015 were ended with murder. Yes, I said murder, because it IS murder. There is no reason, in any “trimester”, to have an abortion unless it’s one of the aforementioned cases. As governor, I will fully make sure that such a horrifying statistic is never repeated in the state. There are many alternative ways, adoption is one of the best things you can do to your child if you’re not sure about having them. I will make sure adoption services are accessible to everyone, so they don’t have to resort to murder for it.

There is no compromise on getting things done, we will meet our goals, and not stand idle like the so called moderates. Too long has the Pennsylvania GOP been compromising on the issues the people care about, enough is enough.”

“Yeah she took off in a vehicle that way,” she confirmed, pointing in that direction. “Like I said, I gave chase until she abandoned the vehicle, then I pursued on foot.”
