"Hello Laramie! Today I will answer all of your questions about what I stand for, what I intend to do in Congress, and my new idea for a regulatory review commission. Now I would like to announce this idea for the first time. As you know, coal, oil, and cattle are suffering under regulations that have killed hundreds of jobs and cost you and your families billions of dollars in lost raises to lost sales to lost profits. Here is how I intend to fix this. My idea is that the President shall appoint with the advice and consent of the Senate 12 commissioners to the new Federal Commission on Regulatory Review. These 12 commissioners will be experts in economics, health, and ethics. Their job will be to review all federal regulations. Their duty will be to determine if a regulation protects human health or property, is related to requiring good business practices, or reasonable environmental protection. If it does not, the Commision will be empowered to amend the regulation to fit within the criteria or repeal it where such regulation is not mandated by Congress. Agriculture alone loses $1 trillion to regulations, with at least hundreds of millions from that coming from Wyoming. That money belongs to you. I intend to give it to you."

"There are over 2,000 people without jobs in Wyoming because of it. That is not being wrong. Gas and electricity is now more expensive than ever, surpassed only by the strike effects. I fight for those 2,000-plus families who have lost everything because of the tax that will over 20 years put an end to energy in this state. Over 30,000 jobs are at stake. I refuse to give in to the California Progressives that want this state in economic ruins."

@BeamMeUpScotty

Glad to see many U.S. Senators voting against Gov. Mondale's nomination to the U.S. Ambassadorship to the United Nations. Her stances and responses to questions signaled a desire to return to the interventionism from President Shrub under the thinly veiled "protection of democratic principles".

Very happy to see Democrats and Progressives being joined by many, many Republican Senators. I am proud to see the Senate taking a stand for the American people by putting our soldiers and resources first. The President should be taking heed of this rebuke by even his own party on his troubling nominee!

We were doing great there when I first announced against Breckenridge, we got a wave of donations from people who wanted a challenger, but it's been a lot drier since then. We're taking advantage of Samara locking himself out from PAC money but of course that's not as useful as campaign funds when you can't coordinate. It's been more larger donors and bundling lately than small. What you said about the amount of you budget to put into fundraising surprised me actually. We're not spending even close to that. That might be why we haven't picked up as much from the smaller donors"

"'Ground Game'" Anderson said clarifying "is spread across media buys and fundraising. Unfortunately money usually comes from the hardcore right and left, you playing the middle is difficult without backers, enthusiasm will be an issue."

"Samara has a big advantage in small donor fundraising, his history of working with activist groups and organizing has given him a massive activist network in the state. People who make small donations to one cause are far more likely to donate to other causes like your campaign. You need to find a good organization to ally with that has donor rolls throughout the state, use them to make calls and knock on doors. Also go to Republican governors of nearby states, get them to back you and organizations based in New England will be more inclined to give you donor info."

"I think I can get some support from donors that are more on the right. After having to deal with everything being on the far left and then Breckenridge I think they're ready for an alternative that supports the President even if I'm more moderate. But you're probably right that I won't be able to really charge up some of the more far out ones like Samara will be able to. In New England I think that the only Republican we have left is Hark and I don't know how good an idea getting too involved with him would be...I'll have to go west."

"Di Pierto in New York? He's looking for support himself, you could probably help him out and he could give you access to donor information."

"You should also not be afraid to stay in DC. Their is a lot of money in this town, do fundraisers and meetings with money people here. Samara has done dozens more events than you, trying to match his ground game is going to leave you playing catch-up. You can raise money here and then use it to make media buys, ads aren't as effective as the personal touch but you can reach a lot more people and at this point Samara has a massive name recognition advantage that you need to overcome."

Buck adjusts the cuffs of his carefully tailored tan suit as he walks down to the car and driver that are waiting for him. News came in of a request from the President to whip votes for the Mondale nomination and so after he dresses himself Buck is on his way to the Capitol Building. A Secret Service agent opens the back door for him and he slides in and relaxes on the seat as they drive off.

The Mondale nomination is not going well as he himself noticed just with watching it progress from his residence. He is continuing to watch it now with headphones in on his phone in the vehicle. The choice was made despite the recommendation that he gave for Representative Brennan in his report and with two interviews from the Chief of Staff. As Buck watches the corners for glimpses of pages and notes being passed though he cannot see the content he observes some new distributors and ponders the occurrence. The choice being skewed to Mondale instead of Brennan is becoming a problem that he is having to play the cavalry to fix on the slow drive. He notices Carter give his vote and continues to consider. He has a few ideas for what to say.

Wilson campaign ad aring in Wyoming
Footage of KTWO-TV newscast the night of Dillon
"Topping our news tonight, Wyoming Senate candidate Dianna Noble was arrested in Dillon, Montana, in connection with a mass shooting. Though we do not have specifics yet, it has been reported there are mass casualties."
Footage of KCWY-TV newscast the night of the AERL release
"Wyoming Senator Troy Wilson has unveiled his new effort to amend the Dudley tax. Called the American Energy Relief Act, it would lower the rate by $50 a ton, and eliminate annual tax hikes of $10 a ton. It also provides rebates to households making less than $60,000 a year. Wilson's campaign estimates that it will bring back at least 500 jobs in Wyoming, with one source stating it would bring back up to 2,000 jobs across the state in energy and non-energy sectors."
Photos of Wilson and Noble with Wilson having a checkmark, and Noble having a No sign over her.
Announcer: "I think it's obvious who the real warrior for Wyoming is."
"I'm Troy Wilson, and I approve this message."
Paid for by Wilson for Senate.

Des Moines, Iowa

Image

The next rally was positioned for Des Moines, Iowa. Joh Stansky had arrived a few days earlier prior to the rally in order to grasp the context on the ground in Iowa. While in Iowa, the Medicare For All Campaign would hold fundraising events and began a volunteer drive, hoping to sign up enough people to make a real impact. The idea was to start the ball rolling early, so that by the next Presidential Election arrives, there is an army of Medicare For All troops.

"To start off the rally today, I want to preface it with a quote from the wonderful Martin Luther King. And when we celebrate Martin Luther King day in America, the media will never, absolutely never, mention the strong and principled positions he took on economic issues. Most people are only aware of his commitments to the civil rights movement, but to him, the idea of economic justice is just as powerful and important. So, this is what MLK said: 'Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.' He is telling the truth. The shocking reality for many people who do not understand the struggles of ordinary people is the cost of healthcare, both on the wallet and on the lives of our brothers and sisters. Because there is a bubble, from when we elected our officials to when they arrive for Washington D.C. There is a bubble yet to be popped.

It is the duty of the Medicare For All Campaign and PAC to fulfill the legacy of Martin Luther King, fulfill the legacy of his Poor People's Campaign. Only half of what he dreamed for is implemented today, yet the other half of what he wanted is still missing. That half is economic justice through the healthcare system, so that all Americans are provided with free and quality healthcare, no matter the size of their bank account. MLK wanted Medicare For All and he knew it wouldn't be simply handed down from above. He knew that we, the working class, must fight for it. He knew that we cannot simply lay down and hope it trickles down, Martin Luther King understood you need to protest, donate and volunteer to your cause. The Medicare For All Campaign will be the vehicle for change, built by and lead by ordinary working people like you.

The Medicare For All Campaign will not stop until we can get Medicare For All. Martin Luther King never admitted surrender, never told us to wait a few years for a better political opportunity. We can no longer play the game of ridiculous pragmatism, extreme pragmatism and centrism. We're not going to wait any longer, we're not going to sit quietly any longer. We're not going to let our elected officials ignore the largest problem in American society to date. The Medicare For All Campaign will march across the 50 states of the United States of America, we've been to New Jersey, we've been to West Virginia, now we're here in Iowa. We're going to keep marching until we march straight for Washington D.C. and when we're at Washington D.C. we are going to demand what belongs to us; Medicare For All!

If you join us and our political movement, we are going to go into Washington D.C. and shirtfront the political establishment. We're going to ask the tough questions of our elected members on Congress why they do not support Medicare For All, which is simply common-sense. Why do they not support Medicare For All, a system with a 70% approval rating? It's because they're in the pockets of the elites, big business, big pharma. It's legal corruption that shouldn't exist, but that's for a different debate, we're arguing right here and right now why our grand parents are skipping on food to pay for their medication! While our elected officials are eating Cavier in Washington D.C., we're making the hard choices like cutting back on food, or medicine, or clothing, to get buy. What we're proposing is the financial liberation of millions in the United States of America, and hundreds of thousands in Iowa.

Senator for Iowa, Peter Amaras, is content with people dying in Iowa because they cannot afford their medication. So, on behalf of the people of Iowa, when we march on Washington D.C., I will confront him in his office and question is corrupt support for the status quo. When he pretends to rail against the elite, he is doing so while doing the bidding of the elite. The elite don't want Medicare For All because they can afford the expensive healthcare, and they're making money off you too! Let's keep Peter Amaras and other cronies, including people in the Democratic and Republican Parties accountable. This is not a partisan campaign, this is a people's campaign. We will hold all politicians accountable, not matter what colour they identify with.

When it comes to it, we have a large battle ahead of us. There are Peter Amaras's around the entire country that continue to stick their fingers in their ears and refuse to listen the majority of the American public. One such person is the First Lady, who I questioned online a few days ago. From her responses, she seems like in a separate reality to the rest of us, she doesn't need to worry about healthcare, she's got perfectly good, yet expensive private insurance! She's ignorant of the truth, same goes with many of our Senators, Congress people and, of course, the President. The President hasn't acted on this humanitarian crisis. Before he looks around the world for injustices, with his new UN ambassador, he should have a look right here at home. You don't have to look far if you want to find desperate people in need of help.

No more half-measures, no more concession, we need Medicare For All. The people of this country, when united, will never be defeated in a fight for Medicare For All because we have the numbers. We will mobilise our forces across the country, in New Jersey, West Virgina, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Pennslyvania and every other state. When we mobilise, no political pundit will be able to stop us. We will be unbeatable. We need Medicare For All for healthcare justice!"
