“No more thoughts, No more prayers, Its time for action on gun violence.” That was the context of my statement currently being referenced on Twitter. I am a Baptist Christian, I was in no way condemning prayer (or thinking for that matter) simply calling for people to do more than offer thoughts and prayers to address gun violence. A great man once said "when you pray move your feet", so the next time someone in power offers thoughts and prayers in reaction to a mass shooting, as them "what are you going to do about it?" I'll be here fighting for universal background checks, come join me.

He openly stands up and attacks people for offering their thoughts and sympathies for victims and he openly attacks good faithful people for praying. He wants empathy and sympathy gone because the only thing he wants is the total removal of guns.

I sympathize deeply with people who have lost loved ones to gun violence and that's why I've supported gun safety legislation that helps fight violence while still respecting constitutional rights, like the Act Against the Noble Defense.

But Samara makes it completely clear that he's not doing any of this out of sympathy or care or concern, he's doing this just because its part of his extreme radical agenda, removing guns, supporting sex selective abortions, evicting Israeli families, condemning the Constitution and the basic concept of liberty.

Samara is extreme radical policy combined with a total lack of care about anyone but himself and anything but his agenda. He's already flipped the bird to his constituents by abandoning his job and now he's open about attacking sympathy for victims and just wanting gun removal instead of reducing violence.

Samara admitted himself that so many more lose their lives to gun suicide over gun homicide but that's not his priority. Those are the people who need love and sympathy and support and prayer but Samara rejects that and treats the people who give it like they're villains.

Those losses are why my policy focuses on fighting the root causes of both self harm and homicide by focusing on mental health and support above all while also using smart policies and legislation to reduce gun crime without the radical proposals of Samara.
