The well dressed and serious looking young man looked up. "Ah yes, Jason Samara. The Representative will see you now. Right this way." He guided Samara into Jared's personal office space. Shelves filled with books lined the walls with a number of portraits of various people including one of Jared and a few pictures of Chicago locations put up with a massive skyline photo on the wall directly behind him.

“I’ll let you in on a secret if you don’t tell my constituents” Samara said entering “Chicago has a better skyline than Boston. Pleasure to see you Jared.” Jason held out his hand for a shake

"Well of course. We invented skyscrapers, who's going to beat us?" Jared asked rhetorically with some smugness. He shook Samara's hand and sat back down. "Go ahead and take a seat"

"Would these have to be Presidents or am I moving in these portraits here?" Jared gestured at the several hanging up.

A handful of drinks in and a few shared laughs here and there, Allen was enjoying himself. Amidst the crowd of familiars and unfamiliars, a head stood out to him. At the edge of the densely packed bar was a distinct-looking man, a striking fellow who captured Allens gaze.

“ I’ll catch up with you guys later.” He said to his pals as he slammed his inelegant drink. A jack Daniels on the rocks.

He walked over to this man and attempted to break the ice.

“ Excuse me, you’re that business savvy fellow that brokered the Midas merger? I’ve read about you in the papers. Allen Young, CEO of the Young Group. It’s a pleasure.” He said as he extended his hand for a handshake.

He shook Young’s hand, then introduced himself in that Boston brouge: “You would be correct, oh Young one. The Midas merger was most beneficial for both organizations. I am the ever-humble President of California Commercial Technologies, Stanbridge Reginald Mallory -the 4th- at your service.”

“So Mr. The Fourth, what brings you to my humble abode? Was it the cause? Perhaps the free drinks? Or maybe the endless sea of bachelorettes?” He asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

“So Mr. The Fourth, what brings you to my humble abode? Was it the cause? Perhaps the free drinks? Or maybe the endless sea of bachelorettes?” He asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

“I do not indulge very much in liquor save for a gin and tonic, and I am ever-so-slightly past the age of youthful abandon. The cause, sir, it is the cause that intrigued me. Also, my last name is not the 4th- it is Mallory, and I would appreciate it if your use of numerical naming ceases forthwith.”

'The Experimental Consumer Price Index for the Elderly (CPI-E) is a price index that measures inflation experienced by people 62 years or older. It grows about 0.2% faster per year on average than the current CPI. This option would adopt the CPI-E for Social Security COLAs, thus slightly increasing COLAs for all beneficiaries.' It costs $15 billion a year. Those numbers are for the whole country."

“My apologies Mr.Mallory. Any who, what are your thoughts on the Green Crusade initiative. Would CCT be interested in sponsoring this green movement? I’m sure your firm could greatly benefit from such a PR boost,no?”, Allen quaintly asked.

“Relations with the Public are only half of the potato, my good fellow! CALCOT would certainly be interested- I’ve taken the initiative and have had our headquarters renovated to be environmentally friendly. The future of green energy and green technology is certainly looking up. CALCOT itself has been considering getting into consumer products- right now, we are too dependent on industrial and business contracts.”
