“Thank you governor” Ramalan replied as he started eating.

Williams began to dig into his own bowl of seafood Pho. After the two finished their bowls, Williams spoke again.

It almost feels like forever since Ella left from Washington getting out of the city just before the summer recess and staying out during it after she could not possibly hide any longer. She still cannot believe that her pregnancy never made it into the news despite her trying to conceal it as much as possible. The emotions are mixed from that as while the feeling was first one of relief at not being thrown into the spotlight she almost wishes now that it would have come up so she could have handled it back then instead of always waiting for when it would come it. She feels like even if the media missed things earlier that it is impossible that that will last forever which means always being stuck between not wanting to deal with things publicly and not wanting to always be waiting and worrying that that will happen.

She is still incredibly grateful that her girlfriend Alex let her in without even asking any questions when she came back to Toledo. She already knew what had been happening and was immediately there for Ella like she always has been for the last weeks of the pregnancy and finally the home birth. It was the most terrifying experience of Ella's life but it ended with the happiest as both twin boys were delivered safely. Her worries since then have been serious but they could not take away that moment of joy even as she wonders not only what will happen with her once this enters the spotlight but if she is even ready or capable to be a mother after only just coming into a political career that she also feels extremely unprepared for.

Ella know she is missing the first day that Congress is back but wants just one more weekend to make everything as ready as she can make it to come back. The plan is not too complicated for the moment. Alex was being an angel and promising that she could and would take care of the boys during the week at least for the start and until there was a more permanent solution that they could come up with and Ella will be coming back as soon as Congress is out on Friday for the weekend.

She still has not heard anything from Char. His phone number says it is no longer in service when she calls and he has not responded to any email that she sent and his house is always empty when she comes by, or he is refusing to come to the door. She has felt torn in the last months about that but is starting to center herself with where she will be going forward. If he is not going to be a part of this then she feels determined to do it without him even with the pang that she feels and the continuing fear.

She has not gotten many calls from her office during the recess as she assumes most of the other Senators and members of Congress were taking the time off but her phone is ringing with James's ringtone. James Tiznevski has been a staffer on the hill for a very long time and was the most experienced person that was available by far when she was looking for someone who knew how to work in Washington for the team. He is not a policy genius or coldly cunning strategist or deep insider with connections everywhere but neither is Ella and what he is is dedicated to his work and being professional in any circumstance and she could not have asked for more from anyone. He has been doing the work of running her office while she has been gone in the recess and even though she has not told him about what has been happening during that time she suspects that he suspects and he might be someone who she trusts enough to finally tell.

Right now he is calling her for business which is not a surprise as he has done only that as a consummate professional.

"Miss Enchanted, you have a Congressman from Kentucky named Michael Emberton who wants to speak with you. He says that he has a bill for economic development in Appalachia that will affect several counties in Ohio. Would you like me to connect him to you?" He asks.

Ella hesitates for a second then decides that since she is returning Monday she should start to get back to work. "Yes, thank you James."

James sets down the phone and returns to the line with Emberton. "Thank you for holding Sir. She is available and I can forward your call to her. I will take you through the process."

After a minute Emberton is connected to Ella. She clears her throat before seeing if it worked.

"Hello? This is Senator Enchanted." She asks and introduces herself.

Ella hesitates for a second then decides that since she is returning Monday she should start to get back to work. "Yes, thank you James."

James sets down the phone and returns to the line with Emberton. "Thank you for holding Sir. She is available and I can forward your call to her. I will take you through the process."

After a minute Emberton is connected to Ella. She clears her throat before seeing if it worked.

"Hello? This is Senator Enchanted." She asks and introduces herself.

"Yes hello" Emberton said in a friendly and professional tone, "This is Michael Emberton, Congressman from Kentucky? Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today."

Hell, I'm an atheist and I'd still eat Halal because it doesn't involve hammering animals in the skull and kills them more ethically. You still want to eat torture on a plate? Rod Johnson was visiting Silicon Valley to oversee the ongoing Johnson Enterprises internet project. Rod did not understand it whatsoever, but all of the nerds and their dumb glasses made him smile.

While in California, he decided to drop by the home of his best friend and the person who would be the best man in his wedding, Taylor Cox. The wedding was pushed back due to the senate race he was winning, and so the bachelor party had been as well.

Carefully, Rod Johnson ordered his personal pilot to land the Johnson Helicopter on the yard in front of Cox’s home, blowing hedges and flowers out of the ground around the sleepy cul de sac.

Johnson’s pilot helped to lower his wheelchair, and Rod approached the door. Guns concealed as usual.

Velma was lying on the bed, though Cox felt like he was in some amateur porn movie. "Ok.. I took the Cialis. Let's take things for the top." Cox said to her, as he slid onto the bed.

Meanwhile..

At the Shirley's residence, the couple had brought over a friend with a Russian accent for a conversation. "So, I heard that the new Star Wars sucked. It was being a bit too much mainstream, anyways." Mr. Shirley said, harboring the hipster within him. "Be glad that James Cameron didn't direct it! I was on the set of the Titanic with DiCaprio as an extra." their friend said with a Russian accent. "So let me tell you this one story about this woman I saw on TV. She looked a little like Cox's wife, actually." Mrs. Shirley started to go full gossip.
"Huh?"
"I saw this woman working on this exercise machine on TV and.."
The sounds of the conversation suddenly turned into the sounds of a loud chopper landing on the road of the suburbs. Everyone looked out their windows to see an actual helicopter outside, where they all reacted in shock.

"I'm calling the police about this!" Shirley's Russian friend declared as he started to dial 911. Mr. Turner from across the street looked out his window in disbelief, then proceeded to shut his window shut and close the blinds. The Wilkins were riled up from their sleep, as a world record argument broke up in their residence. Ms. Brigham ran out of her house and started screaming at the top of her lungs. "The God Haters have disturbed the peace in this society! They must burn now, you hear!" Cox immediately ran to the window of his bedroom to see Rod leaving the helicopter. "What the actual fuck!?" Cox yelled, as he slipped on a bathrobe and some underwater. Karen woken up from the sounds of the chopper and started to make a Youtube video.

Cox slammed open his door to see Rod in his wheelchair, where Cox reacted in scorn. "Rod! What the hell are you doing!? It's 10PM!"
