The Final Move

Various Venues
Various Cities
Connecticut

Scotty Marlowe took a deep breath. He had just departed with Singh, feeling like the meeting had been rushed. But it was no issue, the man was a trusted friend and perhaps the beginning of a friendship that could overcome the obvious issue of distance. Still, he could hardly focus on such a trivial matter. He had been given a major task, to essentially whip up the social media network he possessed and weaponize it in Connecticut. it would be no easy feat and it would require a firestorm, but that was why he had brought dozens of aides. Already, communications were being made with offices of the Singh Campaign, as well as some from general community organizations that had openly supported the Ambassador. Now, let us create a media blitzkrieg thought Scotty.

There was much to do and already Emilio had sought to organize the entirety of it. A photoshoot had been a quick and impromptu action they had taken with the Ambassador in the few spare moments as he had dropped the pair off. After sending them to an editor, they quickly prepared to post on Instagram and Facebook, quickly depositing money to sponsor the posts to appear in the feeds of thousands and as recommended, focused on people in the state. It would be a major one, so the caption was quickly conceived and revised before Scotty made the post himself. Already it would help reach many and make the light endorsement from before much more solidified now.

Instagram and Facebook Post

Sadan Singh is a man I have been honored to get to meet and truly get to know. And after meeting him, and hearing what he had to say before I even flew out here to meet him, it is clear that he is a man of principle and character. Those principles being advancing progressive values, focusing on offering universal Preschool, renewing our promise to our veterans and service men and women, and reforming healthcare to make it affordable and effective for all Americans. It is clear to me that he stands for Connecticut's families and I implore all those who seek instrumental change to vote for him, no matter party affiliation. Because character and principle don't come from what letter is next to your name, they come from the people you hold dear in your heart. And Sadan holds Connecticut's families there. I am proud to extend a strong and resounding endorsement for this family man.

With the post quickly rising in likes and impressions, they turned to the social media ad, one that would go onto Instagram's story feature as well as Twitter and as regular ads through Youtube and other social media. Scotty had made sure the purchases were ready to go, using a few favors and extra funds to make sure they were focused on Connecticut. They would then translate them into Spanish, though Scotty made sure to get a voice over. While he spoke some broken Spanish, it was not his forte. Emma could have done it far better but she was alas not there. They set up filming in various spots in Hartford and with volunteers as well as general excited bystanders turned Marlowe fans, they completed it rather quickly. It soon began to air, set to go from the day before up through Election Night.

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Social Media Advertisment

Scotty walks out of a local bakery carrying some bread, holding open the door for a family to walk by.

Hello Connecticut, I'm Scotty Marlowe. I've been stunned by this state's kindness and hospitality...truly focused on helping their fellow neighbor.

Image

He keeps walking, as the camera shows volunteers collecting food and passing out items through a window of the adjacent building.

This is a state, at its best, working hard to provide for those most in need. To offer a helping hand, a message of hope to those who need hope the most.

Image
Image
Image

He passes by three families, smiling at each, shaking some of their hands and waving at the children.

This a state of families, families of all different kinds, all accepted here. These are families hoping to be well off, hoping to provide the best for their children, and willing to give back too.

Image

He walks by an open area, offering the bread to a volunteer, as the sign behind him shows American flags and a canned food drive.

So let's start giving back by championing opportunity for those who have this country so much, by securing them opportunity and jobs, by ending veteran homelessness.

Image

He walks past kids playing in a playground near a school, as he offers high-fives and smiles at them, with teachers nodding along.

And let's make sure our children get the best foundational experience by guaranteeing universal preschool for all families and supporting our teachers just as equally so they can get the job done.

Image

He keeps walking, now entering a crowded health fair as people enter, with signs showing female health exams offered and opioid resources being featured primarily.

Lastly, let's work towards giving everyone the chance to be healthy, securing them the right to seek the medicines and treatments they need to stay alive. And combating the opioid epidemic in new, innovative ways to truly make a difference.

Image

With a fairly large crowd of Singh campaign volunteers and excited bystanders and fans, Scotty walks onto a platform in a park, with cheering.

I am not alone in advocating for this progressive vision of change and strength. Thousands across this state have joined together to help advance these important reforms, to help this state of families give back in a new way, in a way spurred by innovation and solidarity with people of all kinds, from veterans to children, from those stuck by illness to those working hard to build this state. We must stand together on Election Day to make sure these values of Connecticut are represented accurately, and no candidate but Sadan Singh can do that. I along with thousands of families stand by a family man and progressive advocate Sadan Singh, will you make the same bold choice?

With the advertisement online, Scotty quickly prepared for Election Night. He canvassed with dozens of volunteers and with his aides, going up to houses across Hartford and then Bridgeport, knocking on doors and offering to take pictures with them, though first reminding them to vote for Singh. Emilio had collected a number of addresses from the Singh team on swing areas, with high areas of Democrats. He focused on suburban neighborhoods, bringing quite a delight to several women. But they soon moved to other neighborhoods, such as poorer ones and those of Hispanics, exciting them just as much. His enthusiasm and jokes proved effective in rallying them, smooth talking them and consistently providing points to vote at all and then vote for Singh.

While a rally was hardly possible, he went to a couple meetings of college political groups as well as just roaming the campuses, speaking to the typically excited and stunned college students. He implored them to vote, offering similar pamphlets and to take pictures. His team back in Hartford quickly acted to compile these pictures and posted them on Twitter, offering them as examples of Scotty's 'newfound Nutmegger friends' who would be voting for the best man for the job. It was creating the attention that was intended and as the day began to end, Scotty prepared for the similar canvassing early tomorrow, to make sure people actually did go vote.

Image
Scotty Marlowe
@BeamMeUpScotty

Sadan Singh is the best choice for Connecticut, for he is the only one who has focused on a message of advocating for the families of this state. And he means all families. Families of veterans who seek new opportunities and jobs when the established government services have left them forsaken. Families with children who seek a universal and foundational preschool education and sufficient resources for teachers. Families of the ill who seek affordable healthcare reform and ways to place essential, life-saving care in reach for all.

Image

Image
Scotty Marlowe
@BeamMeUpScotty

In many ways, I share the same vision that Sadan has for this state. It is one focused on supporting all, offering a new and bold message for progressivism to bring real change to a system that is flawed and unfair to many. He has continuously shown himself to be the only candidate who has consistently been dedicated to sharing his message with the state.

Image

Image
Scotty Marlowe
@BeamMeUpScotty

So tomorrow, I ask Nutmeggers to vote for Connecticut's best candidate for he has earned both my respect and my endorsement despite our different affiliations. That in itself should show all how effective his message has been on transcending partisanship and simply focusing on sharing a message and promise of helping ALL families in this great state.

The meeting that she has with Sadan is pushed back because he got busy and the Tuesday date is not happening. Ella is not feeling too bad about the delay in most situations however the way she is right now has her worrying about what kind of development there will be for her in two weeks and how much it could be seen. She has felt lucky that the bump seems smaller than it should be but that is now causing her to worry about what it might mean even more. She needs to take some time out and it has been too long since she has gone back home and seen her city which is causing more worry about whether she is not connecting enough with the people she is supposed to be representing. She has continued to work on getting some supporters for Fairness in Wages but she decided that this weekend she is going back.

She started organizing on Monday and has everything set up now for today and her returning to Toledo. She was surprised by how easy it had been. When she was working in the city organization and working with other groups had always been so difficult with calls being put on hold and meetings always delayed because of some other priority or something not being available and not much effort to fix a problem. This time everything is coming together very smoothly in a way that makes being a Senator feel nice which it has not felt often.

She was going to drive back alone but Alex snuck out on a night drive to DC so they could take the drive there together. It has been too long since Ella has seen or talked to her but they catch up in a way that is not as bubbly or happy as their normal talk but is deeper and more serious. Alex has been having some struggles in the months that Ella has been gone with depression creeping back again and Ella does everything to just be there for her friend after the time apart.

Ella cannot make a problem like that go away just by talking for a few hours but Alex seems a little better once they make it back into Toledo and encourages Ella to go to the convention center like the plan was. There is some late traffic at the end and so Ella has to be quick to get inside through the back since she can already see a small crowd there. The nervousness that she had was replaced in the car ride when something more important had come up but she still felt it when she was getting dressed. She meets with the old friends and workers from the shelter who are helping out once she is inside and does not have time to visit since they try to hurry her up as she is running late and with the bustle she starts feeling warm already. The reason is not a secret with the large rumply sweater than she has on a a third layer over her undergarment and extra middle layer. She is usually someone who gets cold more easily and often but this is a little extra for her especially since the convention center is warmer than she expects. She does like the sweater however. It is one that she made herself and had stitchings and designs across it that look like how they would be on a Christmas sweater except made for Spring. This was one of her first and it does not fit as well and is looser but that is convenient for her now since with that and the underlayers nothing is form fitting and it sits very loosely over her stomach which you can see as protruding if she wears something that is tighter. She is going to be sitting behind a desk with books on it anyway so the sweater might not be needed but she feels like being extra careful. She tries not to think about what will happen when sweaters are not enough.

She takes her spot at the desk with piles of books on it around her like little mountains and boxes on the ground around her like little walls. They are all filled with mass market paperbacks of the different books she has written for the Toledoans or Ohioans who heard about the event during the week and came. It is not closed to anyone from somewhere else since the event is published online but she thinks that most people will be from nearby. Every constituent that comes gets a free book of their choice that she will sign and then can talk to her for a couple minutes about what they think about how the country is doing or if Ella is doing a good job or if they have any issues. It is not a very good personal economic decision but that is not supposed to be the point. The room is a little large but mostly empty except for her desk but people who had gotten books already could maybe stay and talk. She is not expecting any trouble but some of her friends and coworkers from the shelter are taking the action themselves to make sure they are a security presence just to keep everything orderly. She smiles at some of them as she waits. A few were "guests" like she liked to call them at the shelter before they managed to find a job and then came back to give back.

A few minutes late the doors open up and the first people are allowed in to start the line.

"Throwing away those endorsements is your first step towards 'redemption', Mister Lotto," Amaras commented. "Allow me to be blunt. This is a race that you are letting that woman lose instead of winning yourself. Small mistakes don't matter. All you have to do is throw off those big mistakes and make it public that you're the candidate for family values against a woman who doesn't represent them at all. It is only two simple steps to get you through the primary."

Amaras glanced up as the server arrived with their food, and rubbed his thick hands together. "Fast service is what makes this place shine."

Glen Anderson Campaign Stop Party
Anderson Household

The record continued to spin on the turntable long after the music had ended, and just as the record spun Glen and Amanda held each other close dancing slowly to a song only they could hear.

Image

With the campaign suspended he decided to throw a small party at his family’s home for his staff to thank them for their hard work so far, wine and dancing happened as expected but entirely unexpected that the last two up, as the dawn broke were the candidate and the campaign manager.

Amanda was an up and comer in Pennsylvania politics, she managed a few small campaigns and was the deputy on the last republican senate candidate campaign, Anderson knew of her but it wasnt until this campaign he got to know her personally. She was beautiful certainly, Glen noticed that, sharp and quick… excellent at her job, but tonight she was engaging, enchanting and invigorating. The night passed quickly with her, engrossed in deep conversation, wrapped in the arms of one another as quiet music played. They barely noticed as others peeled away to go to bed, leaving the two alone.

After dancing for a long while, their eyes finally met shocking them into a silent understanding of the magnitude of the moment a finality of connection, “I uh…” Amanda stammered a bit finally breaking the gaze “I should flip the record…” Anderson smiled and spoke softly “You’re as good at dancing as you are managing the campaign.”

“Thank you” she grinned slyly “Thats a high compliment… not so bad yourself”

They laughed at the awkwardness of the moment breaking apart momentarily but keeping their hands intertwined and quickly drawing close again

“Hi”

“Hi yourself… can we talk?”

“Yea I think we should”

“Amanda I… I like you… a lot.”

“But...”

“No but! Why does there have to be a but?”
“Come on youre smarter than that Glen, youre my boss, youre campaigning for governor, you have a kid...”

“All very valid points”

“I like you too” she said kissing his cheek and squeezing his hand “But lets be careful take this slow”

Glen returned the squeeze acknowledging her “...Okay… I want this Amanda… I can be patient” he let go of her hand and began walking to the kitchen “But I can’t wait for breakfast, I hope you’re hungry…”

It is regret that I must inform the public that Secretary Bell's condition has worsened to critical, and he is being prepared for emergency surgery which may now be underway. We are doing all that we can to get him the best care possible to give him the best chance possible.

Image
Calvin Reed
@POTUS

The doctors presently believe that it was an arteriovenous malformation in Abelard's brain, previously undetected, that began to bleed without warning, causing him to suffer a
hemorrhagic stroke. All current intelligence indicates that this was a natural tragedy, without foul play involved.

Image

@POTUS

Bell is still alive and still fighting, and I urge the nation to join us in our prayers that the Admiral pulls through. His cause is not a lost one, and we all earnestly hope for a full recovery.

Image

@POTUS

However, the reality is that a fully successful surgery and recovery will still require a period of recuperation. We will be looking to submit a candidate to the Senate to step in as Acting-Secretary for the immediate future, or to come to the full position if the worst comes to pass.

We ask for prayers for Bell and his family in this incredibly difficult time.

Just One Quick Detour

City-Wide Healthcare Resource Fair
Iowa City
Iowa

Image

The Connecticut Election had passed and after having attended Singh’s watch party, Scotty felt that he had spent enough time pondering over the results. Pushing the thoughts away, he cleared his head as he watched Emilio hand the baggage to aides. They had arrived at the hotel from the airport and already, the media attention had grown. It was a high profile visit and for the most part, it had been without much planning or foresight. Emilio had felt that that approach would be the best, catching the media and other potentials off guard. Scotty hadn't been so sure but had decided to take the advice of his strategist over his own beliefs concerning the stunt. They had contacted the local officials only a day earlier and with minimal publicizing, the crowds were already forming.

They went with several local state representatives and senators in a packed van, Scotty dominating the conversation as they all hoped to get a word in with the famous Californian. He offered many remarks and commentary on a variety of topics, listening more to their rambling than inserting his comments. He felt that it was the best approach and to appear not over dominating of the discourse. But that was hardly possible as it appeared every other comment from the local politicians were questions directed at him, leaving him unable to listen more than speaking. Emilio spoke less to them, instead focusing on the logistics of the travel and speaking to various aides including the organizers.

He was hardly the head organizer but with his experience and the Marlowe team in tow, he quickly took charge. He arrived there, setting up seating and organizing the resource fair as the various groups began to arrive. Scotty and his entourage of local Democrats and some Progressives arrived and with a quick informal lunch, they began to distribute themselves as the crowds began to arrive. It would be a major event, as Emilio oversaw that the health services were organized along with opioid and female health resources were front and center. Scotty walked through the maze of the resource fair, shaking hands with all that were willing, offering compliments and broad smiles.

Emilio chuckled, seeing Scotty's personality of swooning the crowd and people at work. They had selected Iowa City for the event for the resource fair had already been planned there and his presence would both fit his message. It had the groundwork to push what Scotty hoped to speak on, as well as proving a major liberal and leftist voting base. Of course, despite using the bill as the main reason for the event and it's high-profile attendees, both Scotty and Emilio knew that hosting the event in Iowa would signal the beginnings of candidacy, a decision that was far from being finalized but one that they were not against testing the waters with...plus it would be a resounding introductory move for the largely inactive left.

The room began to quiet down despite increasing attendance, as the largely empty area in the front began to fill up. People began to cheer and whistle as several local politicians spoke, rallying them with promises of advancing strong healthcare and pushing for an RLSA bill that did not make austerity cuts to the entitlements of thousands of Iowans. They spoke on the need to provide new ways to tackle healthcare access in rural areas across the state, as well as the rise of opioid-related deaths. Scotty clapped and joined the cheering, firing up the crowd as he matched the energy of even the most youthful attendees, mostly college students.

But the major issue was left up to him to speak on, so with powerful energy, he made it to the stage with some aides and gripped the podium, standing tall and fixing his hair. He cleared his throat before adjusting the microphone, overseeing the entire room and reviewing it before beginning.

"Hello, Iowa! I said hello IOWA!"

His voice prompted massive cheers and salutations from the crowd.

"I am excited to be standing upon this stage in this great stage, speaking to such an energized and dynamic crowd. We have already heard from so many important and up and coming allies from this state who stand for the instrumental changes that we must advocate for, which include all aspects of healthcare that seem to go unacted upon in Washington and even in this state's capitals. Your voices are being ignored right now, despite the resounding volume that they are creating in calling for changes to the systems that are wronging you, depriving you of affordable healthcare for all, limiting the resources and tools to tackle the dangers of the opioid epidemic, and even challenging fundamental health and human rights."

"Already, we have seen those leading the efforts for each of those essential planks of healthcare reform, from the local activists and statewide advocates to the politicians leading the charge in Des Moines and those making the difference in Washington. But by far the biggest and most important group that we need to help win this battle for stronger healthcare...its each of you, its the people of Iowa. So I implore you to each remember to challenge those in power right now to not simply let them woo you with promises of change and empty words of reform, but hold them accountable for exactly they seek to do. We cannot allow the progressive healthcare reform we seek to go undone or worse, to be attacked by partisanship, especially in Washington."

"But let us not forget Des Moines and the role of the state and its legislators and the Governor. Let us not forget and gloss over that in this very state, there is a bill advancing to limit abortions and essentially outlaw them. They cover their tracks with misleading titles like the "Protection of the Unborn Iowans Act" which simply is a false name to an act that will place generalized, unclear, confusing, and intentionally vague propositions and policies into effect to do one thing: limit the rights of women and families to make decisions over their bodies...as well as forcing physicians to take a partisan leaning in a matter that should be free from political influences."

"The Governor applauds the measure as a way to save lives, instead of forgetting that in this very state, there are many who know that this will simply strip families and women of an essential and careful choice that should never see partisanship involved with. The Governor cheers a measure that will criminalize doctors and those who provide essential services to Iowan communities simply for refusing to follow partisan and authoritative demands. We must let him and his allies know that there are a strong and numerous part of Iowa, a resounding share of its families, that simply disagree with him. We must make it clear to him, without a doubt, that we will oppose this bill and that if it passes, his own place at the helm of this state has entered into question."

"But unlike other issues we have spoken on, this is one that could very well enter effect right now, or tomorrow, or within the next week. It is a pressing matter that we cannot afford to disregard, it is one that will cripple abortion availability despite abortion rates already falling in this state. It is one that will, with the stroke of one pen and signature of one man, put doctors and families into tough situations. It is an issue of the utmost importance and so I implore you each to contact your state representatives, your state senators, and even your Governor, and tell them that you do not support this bill. Remind them that you are the electorate, the people that they must represent, the people who they must take into consideration..."

"And the people who can vote them out! Iowa stands at a crossroads, whether or not to implement medieval and authoritarian measures to limit fundamental rights established by the courts and precedent or to stand with those same rulings, with physicians free from partisan politics and families free to make their own choices. I came to spur the strength and energy of this movement, but this is one that started before I arrived, ever since this bill and others like it made it to the courts, and it will continue with greater force and volume, led by ordinary Iowans who will be the silent populace no longer. Make your voice heard and help defeat this measure and those who seek to advance this agenda! You all, the people of Iowa, shall not be silent!"

He raised his hands into wings outward, as the crowd cheered. He smiled, waving at the crowd as dozens of local politicans and state ones joined him onstage, cheering and waving. Their families joined them as Scotty left the stage, speaking and talking to the regular Iowans in the crowd. He shook their hands and offered to take pictures with them, the energy in the room at a whole new level. The resource fair continued and he smiled gleefully, staying for two more hours before leaving to have a private hotel dinner with Emilio and the rest of the travelling Marlowe staff. He was quite weary from the entire day and awaited the reactions certain to be spurred by his visit.

John P. L. Malinowski

With the House out of session for the week John had finally managed to find some time for things other than work. Making his way downtown he finally reached the OurAmerica office he scheduled the meeting in. On the outside it seemed really unimpressive, especially when walking upstairs to the offices he realised that their "office space" was in fact an apartament adjusted to fit the needs of a branch of a small organization such as the one he was contacting. Sceptical of the whole endavour John walked inside. He was greeted with the sight of a couple of people having a very busy day with no one noticing him at first.

"I'm sorry, I'm looking for Julia Rivera, do you know where I can find her?" John asked as he approached the person closest to the entrance.

"Umm..." John's interlocutor needed a few seconds to gather his thoughts, a feeling Malinowski knew too well from working at the Capitol Hill "Julia... Oh, yes! Julia could you come here for a second?!" the young black man shouted out "There's a guy who want's to see you." he added as he peaked into the adjecent room.

Due to the noise in the makeshift office John was unable to hear Rivera's responce, but from what he understood he had to wait a minute. A few whiles later John's assumption turned out to be correct when a young hispanic woman approached him with a formal greeting.

"I'm Julia Rivera, I'm assuming you're John Malinowski? Sorry if I botched the pronounciation"

"I am, indeed. And don't worry about the pronounciation, I get that all the time." he replied. One of the things John noticed was the laptop bag she carried with her.

"Shall we?" Julia asked while gesturing at the door. She quickly spotted John's hesitation before explaining the situation the office found itself in. "We managed to get some funds to buy new desks. It's a whole situation and I think it would be better to speak somewhere else."

With that the two headed out to a small pizzeria called "La Pizza Popolare" across the street from where they were just a few minutes ago. The place had a very cozy interior, making the restaurant feel more welcoming to it's customers. After ordering a margherita the two finally settled in their seats, facing one another.

"Let me introduce myself again - I'm Julia Rivera, although most people simply call me Julia." Rivera's introduction was not of the particularly formal ones.

"John Malinowski, although most people call me John."

"So, John you'd like run for Congress. I'm going to be direct about this - what would you want to achieve in the House?" Julia asked.

"Since I've had a couple of days to prepare I came up with a couple of issues I would want to adress as a Congressman." John pulled out a printed over sheet of paper out of his bag. "There are undoubtedly many more policies to include if I decide to run, please know that this is a rough draft." He then handed the sheet of paper to Rivera "As you can see I've tried to include many progressive proposals such as transition to renewable energy sources, gun control, women's rights, gun control--"

"And what about this here" Julia interrupted him and handed back the paper with a part of the text now circled.

"Oh, this. I am yet to make a choice of sorts, here. Both of the options mentioned here are good, with one of them being a known progressive policy and the other one being a less orthodox, yet similar idea with a bill already in Congress."

"So you would endorse an already existing bill?"

"Maybe. That's not exclusive to the issue of the minimum wage as you can see in other points." John replied.

As the topic of the conversation was about to change their pizza was brought. Julia dismissed the waiter with a smile and a nod.

"In your email you said you wanted to run for the House. I'm guessing somewhere in the Big Apple?" Julia returned to the conversation.

"Yes. Twelth district." Malinowski responded.

"Who's the incumbent there?" Rivera asked out of curiosity.

"McCorskey." John replied.

"I've heard of her." she said "She's a Democrat, right? A fairly progressive one at that. Why would you want to challenge her?"

"The word on the Hill is that she's not going to run for re-election after what had happened at the Unity Convention." he replied.

"But that's not official by any chance?" Julia asked somewhat dissapointed.

"No. At least not yet. I could try contact her - after all I am working for a Member of Congress." Malinowski replied.

Julia sighed.

"I guess it might be worth a shot... Anyway I hope you're enjoying the pizza."

"Yeah, it's pretty good." John replied.

"I almost forgot!" Julia suddenly exclaimed, almost scaring John. "Sorry, I'm new to this whole recruitment thing. I didn't ask you about your background. I know you mentioned something about it in your email, but if you could say something more about yourself, your parents, upbringing and stuff like that."

"Well, my parents came to the United States from Poland in 1990..." John then proceeded to explain everything about his background that came to his mind while ocasionally taking a break to take a bite of the pizza or answer a question from Julia. "... and now I'm here."

"Did you say you have a boyfriend -- if you don't mind me asking?"

"Yes, I'm gay." John replied. "That's how I ended up briefly working alongside OurAmerica last year at the NYC Pride Parade."

"Oh, yeah. You did mention something about it." Julia replied "Anyway is there something you would like to add, something we might've missed?"

"I don't think so." John replied.

"Okay then. I'll reach out to you in a couple of days. Nothing's decided yet, but if I may I would suggest trying to contact Congresswoman McCorskey. That would make the process easier."

"I'll try."

After saying their goodbyes the two went their seperate ways, with John pondering what his next step should be.

"I must admit that the Democratic Party has moved over to the right in recent years. As you said, we had Mrs. Carrollton introduce legislation that you would normally see from a Texas Republican." Arlen said.

"Let me ask you another question," Arlen paused. "Do you think a someone running as a Progressive really has any chance of winning in Virginia?"

"A very apt comparison. Ms. Carrollton is actually originally from Texas and was elected on two different occasions as a Republican before she joined the Democratic Party. Yet the National Convention still selected her as their Vice Presidential candidate." Walton rolls up some noodles on a small fork and eats them.

"I do think it is possible for a Progressive to win in Virginia. I will not say that it would be an easy run because it will not be but it is not impossible at all. The Republican Party is struggling between two halves in the state. The traditional center-right Republicans in the suburbs of Washington D.C. are at odds with the conservatives in the rural part of the state that consider themselves the South. The Democrats have begun to take those center-right voters and the Republicans cannot decide if they want to attempt to win back the center-right or double down on the right. At the same time we have begun to see the Left beginning to grow stronger. Northeastern Virginia is not too different from Seattle. It has many young highly educated people who are committed to seeing social justice. As the Democrats take the former center-right Republican establishment their former establishment grows more progressive than their party is. I think that this provides an excellent opportunity for a strong Progressive candidate."

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

Cox rolled his eyes, when he stated it was a prank. "Donald, please. Don't act like those idiots from Youtube who get away with crimes or loitering with the whole "It's just a prank, bro" bullshit." Cox did a small lecture on Donald. "Now. About that favor I'm asking you. I need you to help me get some endorsements from some of the red folk. The conservatives, the Republicans, anyone that fits my quota. I want you to do with the other side of the wing to help get me some people to mingle with, so I can obtain some endorsements. And! I'm looking for you to help get me an endorsement from Anita Flores. She was in that disaster of a party, but hearing how she's independent now, she might be of good use to get an endorsement from her."

"I don't know many red people," Donald said. "The person who is the closest shade to red is a victim I treated with third-degree burns. I remember that day like it was yesterday." Donald begin to think back to his days as the best Doctor in California. He remember having an amazing goatee that attracted many women. He also got many photos with people back in them days for being so popular.

"I'll try the USC Medical Center Burns Unit. I'll find the red people there." Donald smile.

"Well, it doesn't hurt to have you mention him, so they can get my interest. If you refuse to come to them, you have to, at least, tell me where those two are. Can't let Walton take control of the west coast, can we?" Cox said, trying to manipulate Donald a bit.
