I don't think Darnell has any Dem colleagues left to hear from. Stacey and Brankers both already voted

I/Simon have been crystal clear about the white houses line on this vote to Alozia/Winslow. So winslow needs to realize that the white house will be pissed. Winslow is facing re-election in 2018, Reed's homestate that he won in a landslide along with most other state. Since he was elected Reed has gotten the balanced budget amendment through, defeated ISIS, broke the dudley strike and is crazy popular, The President of the United States is not an enemy she wants to make.

The alternative is making an ally with Peter Amaras, who only won conservative Iowa with a plurality not a majority, and is a freshman Senator not even through his first year.

So between the two who should Winslow ally with?

Denisevich's main weakness at this point, and from that, that of the administration for the nominee, is that he is not present to make his case in anything but missives, while Amaras is.

The reference was to this specific vote, given that that is where the conflict between the two is.

That being said, I do not actually recall Denisevich and Winslow ever having a face-to-face, in-person meeting, come to think of it. I know they have spoken on the phone multiple times.

I am not looking to assign blame, simply musing on the in-character situation.

Just to clarify:

You usually send me two TGs per bill; first one to very agressively inform me about the risks of not issuing a whip and then the second one when I try something other than issuing a whip, because I'm not trying to piss everyone off without trying other courses of action first. I can be angry about this considering the language of the messages, but I'll just say that you can at least try to politely phrase your statements.

And me being inactive lately is due to me being emotionally involved in real life. I'm usually more active and try to respond to TGs quickly. If you have to wait for my response it probably means that I'm either sleeping or at school, because of different time zones.
