Sounds good! I'd second Dent's recommendation for a Rep, both so you can get your feet wet there and because there's a big lack of conservative Republicans in the House (Not that you have to be conservative)

I'd also strongly recommend making a guy. We have a huge surplus of Republican women in Congress

I did plan on making him a guy. Yet there already is a Representative from Tennessee, and no Senator. So I still plan on making him a conservative Senator most likely. Just to balance things out in the Senate.

We have two inactive Sens from Tenn, the guy who has the Rep hasn't been on in a couple months

There are plenty more Rep seats available

I had a slight irl connection to Enchanted but now I must choose whether to gain an similar irl connection to Fowler or Samara.

I don't know if its better for Winslow to try to pull out the stops and save the nomination or double down and support the nay at this point

The dynamic has been so weird. I think the attitude is starting to be sort of like treating Reed like a kid where there's not really personal opposition, but there's a lower standard for something like Congress downing a nominee pick of his
