Same boat. My best one is Cabinet-level, contingent on victory in an election.

Should something happen to Reed, I have two good options.

Rhodes could run

I might do it as a way to engender himself to the possible nominee as a VP option, which might be fun.

Schlang is probably too damaged to run, unless I do it for fun which is a high possibility.

Clearwater is probably better cabinet/VP material.

Braum is a wild card.

ADKINS.

I could do a weird populist grassroots Adkins campaign.

He could run as a single issue candidate get a ton of legitimacy on the issue, do a debate or two and then endorse the person that gives you the best deal.

if clearwater wins the governorship hes an african american from a southern state, thats a strong electoral argument, he could sweep the south in the primary. The rest of the field is going to fight for the Northeast and West coast, no one else is in a position to win southern delegates

Hmm, if Eberhardt is successful in his nigh-abortion banning efforts, that could be a very good launchpad into a pro-choice campaign. Maybe climate change is also a good idea.

you could do an appalachian coal country based run, potentially forcing concessions. Biggest obstacle would be Sinclair

Samara and Anderson should they win their current races are in great positions to run (Anderson if Reed doesnt run). However they are both playing the long game.

PS i really want my SC mayor accepted so that they can influence the south carolina primary

Sinclair, at least it seems, is doing his own thing. I’m not having Adkins do an independent campaign, but running for the Dem nomination, so Sinclair wouldn’t be an issue unless by some magic Adkins gets to the general election.

Gun control could work too, but I would need to be far better versed on the topic irl so Rhodes doesn’t collapse into flames.

Or universal healthcare could work, but I feel a lot of candidates will be doing that or a public option.

Gun control would be great coming from Bmore, getting illegal guns off the street. Reed was also based there, you could be like "Reed spent years here how could he not see the blood on the streets?"

That’s certainly in option, but Rhodes has been in government far longer, but with preparation counters can be made ready.

Seems kinda stupid for him to resign imo.

I probably just did something inexplicably horrible and vile that will cause me to become more hated than Satan himself by saying I see myself as a Tea Party Republican.

The Tea Party Republicans are the neoliberal (sometimes socially liberal) free marketers, right?
