Jared isn’t that backbench, he’s the DCCC Chair or something, Smith I could see, but Velahor is no where to be seen.

I certainly will have Schmidt run for Senate again in 2018, and from there might consider a long shot try at the presidency.

Schimdt isn't an unknown with a unique story/background like mayor pete, i doubt he would do well running for president. Senate, governor or house would be best

Smith definitely mentioned it in a post, she wants to run in 2020 best case scenario and 2024 as a backup

Smith is moderately significant with some prospects, she's not really a backbencher. Appleby is kinda the only one

That’s why I mentioned jumping for Senator first, and then considering a try at the WH. Granted, I just realize the window between January 3rd and when a presidential run announcement would be a good idea is small, and certainly not enough to establish any reputation, so perhaps 2024 then.

However, will we even be doing 2024 in this RP? I feel like by that point, it’s a bit too far into the future. Granted the pace of this RP, by 2024 in this RP it’ll probably 2027 irl, but still.
