Progs are more left-wing than Dems, no? He'll probably defect to the Socialist Party soon tbh.

Yes, but their leader is the daughter of Sam Walton and Stansky (we were just talking about him) has been using Walmart in attacks on her. Taylor with the whole corporations worse than ISIS thing was what made it seem a weird fit

They're not connected. We're gonna look at it as maybe a future possibility but basically right now its a wait and see to see if the rp's gonna last, since we'd need to go comb over a bunch of little retcons to make them match up

True, I guess. How popular would 'bring back busing' be?

General American crowd. I know I would do well with African-Americans and less so with whites as a general idea, but do you think that it'd be too controversial and not worth putting in?

Busing tends to be....... tricky.

Even left-leaning folks of the 60s had, let's put this politely, "reservations" about the policy.

It's probably safe to say the gain with African Americans would be outweighed by the off-putting of otherwise supportive white voters.

The thing is WA does not have a lot of African Americans.

White Southerners would not be happy with it

Sorry for my absence the last couple of days, I’ll probably try and make a post where Chalmers is signing in a law involving North Carolina’s opioid problem. Expect that in the next couple of days.

It was for the manifesto anyway, tbh.

Taylor's easy to defeat, if you just do the twitter thing again. You need to pull his confidence and make it plunge him over the cliffedge, rather than the usual strategy of beating your opponent into submission.

Twitter's behind a screen in any empty room though, Stev at least is more vulnerable in person if things go a certain way.

I do definitely see this as high risk high reward for her, if she can stay light on her feet in twitter form its a big boost to ride on, but she could just end up melting down and shooting herself in the foot with the whole thing

There's also some topics that she'd be fine with debating Samara on but which might go in a bad way debating him on, especially since she doesn't know all that much about him and has some guesswork. Taylor is probably in an easier spot in that way since he's got pretty much the same attack line with almost anyone to the right of him I'd guess

One topic was easy and obvious but since the speech as a whole can't be a topic the other two are trick from her pov

Actually I was going to ask if Taylor's app's positions were something publicly said/available or just what he thinks? Can't assume that their public so RN she's just going off what she knows from the speech+tweets

Also, just to help and/or taunt you (although Stevenson doesn't know this IC), since Dentali asked me for 3, I picked inequality, imperialism and human rights. I probably should've made them all economic tbh, to make Stevenson violently explode.

Make sure to start off with a post introducing or commenting on the bill before we figure if it passes

It's almost end of session so if he puts his weight on it he should be able to get something through

If you're listing the 3 I stopped ready after the Dent asked for 3 bit (actually saw the first one unintentionally but'll try to forget.) If he's gonna put them up publicly or DM her or something that's fine but otherwise since she shouldn't know I shouldn't know ahead of time and give her an unfair edge by being ready
