Reed can grow quite excited, overly so, when it comes to his children in particular, and tends to have an outsized reaction to anything relating to them. He did end his professional career early when Aubrey became pregnant for the first time, and the Garestaer situation had a profound effect on him personally, even rippling into his political outlook-and having some effect on his marriage.

That said, this was a more particularly important moment for a couple of reasons. As Dentali induced, it was her first steps, an excitement-inducing moment for him, but beyond that, as has been touched on in a pair of earlier slices of life, they were very late first steps. Mia is more than a year and a half old, well past the usual age for first steps, and seeing them come at last had a greater effect coming on the heels of the worry over the delay.

Out-of-character, of course, the 'psyche' was a bit of fun.

I/Simon fully understand the excitement and would probably be just as excited in the situation however Simon in the moment is angry because he thought it was a life or death matter and it frightened him

Understandable. Reed's actual actions could certainly be panic-inducing, and were done without any thought given for the impression that they would give, or the consequences, for the simple reason that he was not actually thinking. A relatively minor manner, all things considered, but not particularly responsible nor reasoned.

Zipporah will be somewhat interested by Stevenson's unexpected DNA test results, though I am not yet certain if she will take to Twitter publicly from it.

Hello Everyone I've never been in these role-plays before but to a political junkie it looks very interesting. I am quite curious who are the political parties? Normal Republicans and democrats or otherwise. Who is the President and VP and is their elections coming up? Thanks

If you are interested, there actually is an election for Governor of Virginia approaching that could use a Republican candidate.

Not immediately, though he can certainly begin percolating about Washington. We will likely briefly roleplay the swearing-in, Tumblrena has asked for permission for Havich to do so.

Well, this jeopardizes Scotty's partnership with him. And I assume Alphonsey may also pull out.

Not so much tri-partisan as she is just easy-going and nice to everyone.

Yeah, it’s a dead dream, as is any other dream he had. He’s the antithesis of MLK at this point.
