I think gun control is a much more salient issue post-Dillon, and DJ writing the American Right to Bear Arms Act does him absolutely no favors.
The Progs will definitely lure away enough progressive Democrats to make it competitive.
When you agree on so much, the differences that remain are that much more significant... why have a so-so Democrat when progressive voters can have a Progressive who most closely represents what they believe?
