Yep. It's a thing.

Has been for years. Not SCP, not creepypasta, just an actual urban myth which science proves is a phenomena through sheer population dispersion, but must come from some sort of yet unknown neurological condition.

Saw him once as a kid when I had a bunk bed. Went to bed one night, got up in the middle of a literal storm, everything got quiet, the door opened and I thought my dad was coming in to check on me. Rather, got to look at a man standing in the hallway as the door slowly swung open. Don't know how long I sat there watching him until he moved down the hallway and out of view.

Haven't remembered seeing him since.

Personal update: last night my recruiter informed me that I am leaving for Air Force basic training on the 21st of July. I'll still try to write some stuff up for here before then, and work out some sort of interim plan for while I'm gone.
