He was a staunch opponent of the Japanese Empire when they began their assault on China and his letter opposing the Jewish Holocaust won him a kill order from the Fuhrer himself. He died of a stomach bug in 1943, so it's unknown if that was a poisoning or just bad luck with the local cuisine.

When I do get a chance to game these days, something complicated by the fact that the PC I would usually play on is in my father-in-law's office which he now works from home in, I'm trying to beat KOTOR 2: The Restored Content Mod before I leave for BMT. I've played the vanilla game on and off since 2008, but I've had a blast with all the extra content.

I think I'll now split off the part that's more interacting with the characters and post that now, since it gives chances for characterisation and it's getting late here. Right now I'm getting knee-deep in background lore and long fancy names, and finally trying to place where everything in the Thin Isles actually is.

Elementals 1, which I suppose officially ended over 7 years ago now when I announced the reboot that became this current timeline, is full of interesting little moments.

the man gulped getting out of his way as he continued walking on, he eventually made it to the central market and noticed a crowd of people paying attention to a tent and soon they began noticing him and the whispering began again eventually as he stopped to rest a child blurted out " look mommy its the Demon priest" and that gathered the attention of others just as they began clearing away from him out of a sign of fear. He laid down his back sack and sat down with his dog Aeros within clear seeing distance of the tent he clasped his hands and muttered a prayer before laying out something that looked like paste, it in reality was food.

A mixture of herbs and rice paste he bought off a nature sage, he consumed amounts of it daily in keeping with his vows of poverty it served as a common specialty among those in service of the priest hood.

His eating time was short lived as as series of rocks bashed against him followed by the venomous word " Demon priest!!!" he looked to see a group of teenagers before him, he whispered " Wind Goddess have favor of them for they know not what they do"

he then stood up and grabbed his staff and raised brought it harshly down on the lead teenagers head and it bounced back up as he clasped his head in pain. He grabbed the staff and pointed at the teenager saying " In the name of Aewiallia, what in the Gods do you want, I am a poor old priest faithfully serving the Gods, not a monster!"

"Forgive this child, whomstd've I am about to whoop."

Well, I'm still working on the post where the group actually arrives at their destination and things start happening. What would Tristan do on a ship with the group for a week? I have the weather that will occur in the timeskip already written up, if that helps any:

A week had passed by at sea in a cold calm. The sun had been unobstructed that first day they found themselves out at sea, and likewise with the second day. The third day there were scattered, chilly showers, but nothing to cause the fleet any worry, and by mid-afternoon on Saturday the skies were clear again. On Sunday as chaplains held their services on every vessel there was clear, bright blue all above, but on Monday their congregants could see clouds that were possibly on an intercept course with them, and felt a stronger breeze than before. On the 18th at 11:20 in the morning, the logbooks of the ships recorded that snow began to fall, and such weather continued at a manageable level all through that day and into the next.
