The navy one. Was that too slapsticky? Cause I can go with the artifact idea instead.

I'd say the artefact route is better so the squadron doesn't think the party is trying some surprise attack and the Devil's Luck gets ganged up on by three properly-trained, properly-crewed warships.

Norv and Wood might come back, Olthar sort of stopped participating before the thread fell dormant.

If push comes to shove, we can always steal from LOTR and have the active characters split from the inactive ones.

We can retcon either Florian or Aerion onto the ship with Katya, or maybe throw in a specific thing for them. I mean, what storylines do you want to tell? Let's make it happen.

I've realised having only one main character NPC at the moment constrains how I can shepherd along the story, as opposed to the three from Elementals 2.

Albreheim is within West Albrion, the portion that the U.G.F still controls. The border between the two countries isn't very far from either Albreheim, Albrion's longtime capital, and Haventown, new capital of East Albrion. The border is halfway between the two cities, and extends straight south until Ladsblume and north through Warmpass. When Commodore Galdenguard was referring to Albreheim as the state capital he meant just over Albrion, rather than the national capital Villdernheim. Don't worry about the hooks for other folks; I hadn't envisioned the chat with the navy lasting very long (IC, at least ) so the cast should be mostly reunited shortly.
