Pour one out for Vasily and Joachim, though this won't be the last time we see them.

Excellent read, and cool spells. I look forward to the next instalment in their adventures.

I also look forward to whatever Katya's doing. :p

It's funny - when the stars align and I'm in the mood for it, it's pretty easy to slam down a couple thousand words.

Other times, it takes like a week to scrap up three or four paragraphs. Writing consistency is not a virtue of mine, tragically.

It's worse when you don't have the time to write what you want to, but then suddenly do. I just hype myself up with storylines or plothooks and then slam them out.

I feel this. I've long since convinced myself that A) short writing isn't necessarily bad writing and vice versa, and B) I'm rarely going to be on my best writing and that's alright.

I too have that struggle with consistency, no surprise. I feel like I have a bit of a harder time with that since I want to try describing as much as I can to help the players see as much of this world as possible, as there's a lot of it I have in my head that takes me a while to share with everyone else. Plus I guess when it takes me a while to get an update out it makes me want to make it longer and fuller to make it worth the wait, making a vicious spiral.

Oof. Yeah, I get that mindset. I for one would kill for more frequent updates though, even if they come at half, or one fourth the size of your bigger posts :P

Not that you should compromise post quality in exchange for frequency, mind you. Neither frequency nor quantity equal quality.

You know, it's a little ironic that none of our actual character's elements are selected in the poll. :p

Also, a bit of a random lore-thought. Perhaps the reason that the Garmiccians attributed Ferruoston as the god of war is because of the metallic smell/taste of blood. Along with weapons and tools, obviously.

I'm probably going to rewrite that scrappy religion writeup I made for the Garmiccian Helreskaffen Church at some point, after I get caught up to date in the main plot.

Well I mean, metal just seems like the most useful elemental ability to have in the modern era so yeah :P Ice would be my second pick though.

I mean, technically Erosen is a fallen Nature Elemental, but I also chose Nature in the poll because I really would like to have been a Nature Elemental. Erosen started from something I genuinely was interested in, but he went off on his own... path.

In that case the updates would only take me one month instead of four. :P

I thought about picking Fire, but I went with Light instead since it has more nifty stuff like healing and giant lasers.

Regarding the religion writeup, it might help that the real Helreskaffen Church has some more detail. I still have to elaborate more on what their actual beliefs are, but at least there's some info about their ranks.

Also, it's now been 5 times in the past two weeks that NS has informed me my country is in the top 1% for agriculture industry. Do they not have other stats to measure?

Sounds good, we're all looking forward to it. I might be making an application for a second player to run in the offbeats when I got nothing for Erosen.

I imagine when Eric does shuffle off this mortal coil for good, this would be the song that plays over that dying montage of all his past crazy adventures.

>Does mucho weed
>Breaks laws
>Lots of ex-wives and children

Oho, I am intrigued. Impressive dedication retracing the map like that; not being able to copy/cut/paste parts of my map is probably the main thing I miss after switching from MS Paint to Inkarnate for map-making.
