1977 - The Tsar, Nicholas III, starts to increase open market policies from a mixed economy to one closer to a completely free market.
1998 - Chechnya is given increased autonomy status under a Grand Sultan.

-The Bonaparte Family Comes to power in 1947, and the Government is reorganized
-The Empire of the Congo Adminstrative Districts are established, and the first Emperor Begins appointing Cheiftans loyal to him as Govenors, and married the daughter of his most loyal supporter, and friend, expanding the Congolese royal class.
-The Empire left with the Infrastructure left from the French motherland, begins starting programs to unite the country, and Industrialize.
-The Empire continues working with France to modernize the Imperial Military, increasing the Emperor's authority, and keeping the large country under his control.
-1953 Educational Reforms begin, the "No child left behind" policy of the Emperor is implented, a 100% French literacy rate, and the building blocks of Education like mathematics. Education Begins to become Glorified in Imperial Society.
-The Catholic Church spreads it's influnces in a campaign of preaching that lasts well into the 70's.
-The access of resources in the 50's causes the Congolese Mining industry to grow, and the Empire gains a strong primary economic activity.
-In the 60's Factories start opening up on larger numbers, Industrialization coming to the Congo
-The Imperial Navy begins to expand with French expertise, and the Air Force begins to fashion itself after the Imperial Russian Air Force. The Domestic Ground Defense Industry takes off.
-The Economic Organization between it, Tazania, and South Africa comes into effect.
-In the 1980's, the Congolese sees unprecedented growth. The Congolese can now begin to afford luxuries thought only belonging to Europe, and a domestic Music, and Movie Industry begins to take off.
-With rise of.electronic devices, noticably in the 90's, the Congo saw a boom in mining, as well as the seeds of a domestic IT Industry ready to compete in Africa.
-The Imperial Airforce is increasingly domestic, trying to develop domestic Jets instead of relying on Foriegn Airforces.
-In the 2000's, with interest in Power Projection, the Empire begins talks with Russia over Aircraft Carriers.
-In 2016, the Upper and Middle Class of the Empire consisted of the Majority of the population. The percentage of those in poverty continues to drop.

History [MUST LINE UP WITH HISTORY IN OP, NOT SET IN STONE AND MUST BE APPROVED BY OPs, WRITE IT LIKE IT'S GOING IN THE TIMELINE SECTION] - In 1916 the Ottoman Empire was dissolved into several states. The French and Russians wanted to dissolve the state of turkey into several different puppets. However in the time of darkness, a man would rise up to lead the fallen. Mustafa Kemal, later known as Ataturk, would unite the Turkish people and push back the invaders, fighting off the Russians in the east and the French in the south. By 1919 the nation was free of its invaders.

Following this was a time of great rebuilding, the capital was moved to Ankara, where a new palace was built. Ataturk was coronated by an Imam, following this act Ataturk would name him Caliph of the Turkish nation. But even though Ataturk had been coronated by an Imam, he would modernize and liberalize the views of the country, allowing women to leave uncovered and rolling back religious restrictions and laws. Ataturk modernized the military very quickly as well. He made a mandatory conscription for all males ages 18-19. He also created the League of Young a Turks, which was mandatory for all boys and girls, and tought them business skills, political philosophy, and martial and out door skills, girls were tought to be good mothers and how manage a home and it’s assets. In 1929 the military would open for female registration but only for garrison positions. Schools and the LYT made the Turkish people fanatical about the monarch. In the 1930s the modernization of cities would see Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, and Adana turn into major port cities. Ankara, Bursa, Trabazon, Damascus, and Konya would turn into major metropolises and centers of business. A modern rail network was established, along with a series of airports and airfields.

In 1938 at the outbreak of the Great American War, Turkey remained neutral, but once the Baltic Pact joined, Turkey and Persia would join the war on the side of the UK. This opened the Black Sea as a major area of naval engagements. The caucuses would light up with gunfire as the Persians and Turkish forces would pour through the border and rush into Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia quickly seizing the territory. A drawn out battle in the mountains would lead to a stagnate front until the wars end, but during this time the southern Caucuses were easternized creating a cultural disconnect with a Russia for the remaineder of the 20th century. At the end of the war Turkey would grow to distrust western powers as nothing more than trade partners.

During the war Ataturk would die of Lung Cancer leaving his 20 year old son Mustafa Kemal II to govern the nation. Mustafa Kemal II had traveled throughout the east in the 1930s and 40s. And thus became very close to the eastern powers during the Cold War. Investments from the east would help the country transition from a resource based economy to a manufacturing and banking hub in the 1950s and 1960s, however as wages rose they became less competitive. Thus in the 1970s a huge project to diversify the economy was taken, this saw the rise of Turkish engineering firms, labs, tech companies, and arms and automotive companies. Turkish Airlines would branch out to become one of the largest airlines in the world. Antalya and Turkey’s many historic sites would see the rise of the Turkish Tourist industry.

In the 1980s oil was discovered in Syria and northern Iraq, this boosted the nations economy from a region trade hub to the world stage. The mining industry began a huge boom that continued into the 2000s. Unfortunately Mustafa Kemal II wouldn’t, as he would die in 1998. His legacy would be carried on by Mustafa Kemal III who grew up along with the fanatical Turkish populace in the 1950s and 60s. Turkey became a revitalized military power in the early 2000s, under Mustafa III, the countries military would modernize using arms from both Turkey and the East to replace the older weapons, some of which had been in use since the war. Seeing Russia’s imperialism as a threat and the people of Greece as a historic enemy, Mustafa III would build relationships with Persia and Arabia, connecting them to the Eastern Trade Bloc. In the late 2000s Turkey would develop smart tap technology and along with its East Asian counterparts would develop the first touch screen phones.

Short Bio: The heir to the throne, everything handed to you, more riches than you can imagine. Must be nice right? Probably, but that wasn't exactly Victor's experience. It was the tradition of the Congolese Bonaparte family to train rulers. Capable, yet Humble. Effective, but not boasty. Not cruel, and not to think too much of one's self. It's not like they didn't have a fortune, but Victor was to be the next ruler. There was the occasional trip for leisure, or family outing, but his time was dominated by his personal teachers, watching his father in action, or being taught other things by his mother. Now his Childhood wasn't a joyless one, not by a long shot. However it's probably not the average experience of most royals. History [MUST LINE UP WITH HISTORY IN OP, NOT SET IN STONE AND MUST BE APPROVED BY OPs, WRITE IT LIKE IT'S GOING IN THE TIMELINE SECTION] - In 1916 the Ottoman Empire was dissolved into several states. The French and Russians wanted to dissolve the state of turkey into several different puppets. However in the time of darkness, a man would rise up to lead the fallen. Mustafa Kemal, later known as Ataturk, would unite the Turkish people and push back the invaders, fighting off the Russians in the east and the French in the south. By 1919 the nation was free of its invaders.

Following this was a time of great rebuilding, the capital was moved to Ankara, where a new palace was built. Ataturk was coronated by an Imam, following this act Ataturk would name him Caliph of the Turkish nation. But even though Ataturk had been coronated by an Imam, he would modernize and liberalize the views of the country, allowing women to leave uncovered and rolling back religious restrictions and laws. Ataturk modernized the military very quickly as well. He made a mandatory conscription for all males ages 18-19. He also created the League of Young a Turks, which was mandatory for all boys and girls, and tought them business skills, political philosophy, and martial and out door skills, girls were tought to be good mothers and how manage a home and it’s assets. In 1929 the military would open for female registration but only for garrison positions. Schools and the LYT made the Turkish people fanatical about the monarch. In the 1930s the modernization of cities would see Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, and Adana turn into major port cities. Ankara, Bursa, Trabazon, Damascus, and Konya would turn into major metropolises and centers of business. A modern rail network was established, along with a series of airports and airfields.

In 1938 at the outbreak of the Great American War, Turkey remained neutral, but once the Baltic Pact joined, Turkey and Persia would join the war on the side of the UK. This opened the Black Sea as a major area of naval engagements. The caucuses would light up with gunfire as the Persians and Turkish forces would pour through the border and rush into Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia quickly seizing the territory. A drawn out battle in the mountains would lead to a stagnate front until the wars end, but during this time the southern Caucuses were easternized creating a cultural disconnect with a Russia for the remaineder of the 20th century. At the end of the war Turkey would grow to distrust western powers as nothing more than trade partners.

During the war Ataturk would die of Lung Cancer leaving his 20 year old son Mustafa Kemal II to govern the nation. Mustafa Kemal II had traveled throughout the east in the 1930s and 40s. And thus became very close to the eastern powers during the Cold War. Investments from the east would help the country transition from a resource based economy to a manufacturing and banking hub in the 1950s and 1960s, however as wages rose they became less competitive. Thus in the 1970s a huge project to diversify the economy was taken, this saw the rise of Turkish engineering firms, labs, tech companies, and arms and automotive companies. Turkish Airlines would branch out to become one of the largest airlines in the world. Antalya and Turkey’s many historic sites would see the rise of the Turkish Tourist industry.

In the 1980s oil was discovered in Syria and northern Iraq, this boosted the nations economy from a region trade hub to the world stage. The mining industry began a huge boom that continued into the 2000s. Unfortunately Mustafa Kemal II wouldn’t, as he would die in 1998. His legacy would be carried on by Mustafa Kemal III who grew up along with the fanatical Turkish populace in the 1950s and 60s. Turkey became a revitalized military power in the early 2000s, under Mustafa III, the countries military would modernize using arms from both Turkey and the East to replace the older weapons, some of which had been in use since the war. Seeing Russia’s imperialism as a threat and the people of Greece as a historic enemy, Mustafa III would build relationships with Persia and Arabia, connecting them to the Eastern Trade Bloc. In the late 2000s Turkey would develop smart tap technology and along with its East Asian counterparts would develop the first touch screen phones.
