She grabbed the man’s shoulder looking at the wound, it’s too deep and hospital arnt close by “you a good job, you may rest with a smile tonight cause everything is going to be alright” she said in a soothing voice. She looked around herself, thinking of her next move. She could take the weapons and go or give chase. These were the best options in her head at that time.

Fabian
"Don't. I know you're lying to make me feel comfortable, but that lie is a bad luck charm. Kale said the same thing before the Snow Leopards began their assault and Sulla's nephew Antony "Fireproof Tony" Florence said it before he entered the limo that ended up being hauled out of the bay with his mutilated corpse in the trunk a week later. Get as much of the merchandise out of the red crate as you can, get the Hell out of here ASAP , and kill anyone that gets in your way. That is the most dangerous hardware the Candido Family could get its greasy mitts on. If I survive this, I'm heading to Vacuo. A rat Faunus with a naval captain's hat would stand out like a sore thumb and if there is one thing someone trying to hide from their former employers doesn't need, it's one of Mistral's many information brokers telling said former employers where in Mistral are they hiding." Fabian said to Wisteria as he pointed towards a red crate with yellow and black stripes.

Fabian
The officers in the courtyard snuck up on Wisteria, guns pointed in her direction. They opened fire on her, Wisteria's Aura being the only thing keeping her from becoming another bloodstained corpse on the pavement. She got behind cover, the truck having been modified with armor thick enough to take a hit from a missile launcher, the irony of an Atlesian Specialist being assigned to take down gunrunners being saved by a safety precaution borne of the paranoia of those gunrunners not lost on the cow Faunus. Wisteria moved out from cover and fired, killing the officers one by one. She then got in the truck and drove away with the red crate, Fabian watching as she headed back to the precinct.
Detective Boris
"We lost some fine men and women at that wharf. How could I have known that they were on the take? They showed none of the fucking signs: no "bonus money" in their accounts, no cars and/or jewelry outside a cop's salary, no police brutality, no extortion of drug and arms dealers, anything that Internal Affairs can use to bust a bad cop. I don't know how the Candidos found out about Fabian. The only proof he was there is a short trail of blood and a missing speed boat." Detective Boris said to Police Chief Ron Jacobs before hanging up, Wisteria walking into his office. "It was good thing you made it out alive and intact, let alone with the most dangerous military grade hardware that the Sulla was going to smuggle into Vale. However, the assault does not match the Snow Leopards' MO. They always test the defenses days or even weeks in advance, attacking the easiest targets first, relying on speed and firepower to make up for their lack of body armor, avoiding areas that officers of the law have under twenty-four hour surveillance. The coordination of the assault and their cooperation with the crooked cops can mean only one thing: someone else is pulling the strings. Whoever this mystery man is, he is clever, using disposables and a voice filter and speaking in code, but not clever enough to keep his conversations between him and the Snow Leopards from being traced to the Cronus Club." Detective Boris said to Wisteria.

Wisteria Is Informed Of A Big Development

Postby Flarbinia » Fri Mar 29, 2019 2:50 pm

Detective Boris
Wisteria's scroll vibrated, waking the cow Faunus up, the numbers on the screen indicating that it was twelve thirty AM. Wisteria hit the answer call after an hour, Detective Boris on screen. "A situation has come up. While searching Fabian's apartment for any details on his disappearance, I found his scroll with a video recording. Considering the subject manner, I have decided to send it to you before deleting it." Detective Boris said to Wisteria before hanging up, a video appearing on the screen. Wisteria pressed play, a night club owner approaching a man wearing a trench coat, a mask, and thick leather gloves, suitcase in hand. "You have the gold?" The man in the mask said to the night club owner. "Sure thing, Officer. Do you have the item?" The night club owner replied, handing over the briefcase to the masked man. "Of course, Ozymandias. You gold is good. Here is your order. The late Doctor Nero's finest masterpiece. Gathering dust in the evidence locker since the Mantle Police Department shut down his old lab. Armageddon in a vial, just add water." The masked man said through his mask's built-in voice modulator as he counted the gold bars, handing over a vial containing a bluish-purple fluid, the markings indicating that it was a virus. "Now that this deal is concluded, there can be no further contact with me." The masked man said to Ozymandias before heading back into the alley, the video ending right then and there.

"This is Agent Momoa, Tech Division. I have received your video and I am your eyes on the wall until the sample is contained. Yes, we knew about it. After your debriefing, Director Stone sent five of his best agents to do some digging for any information that slipped through the cracks. They found plenty of dirt on the late mad scientist: embezzlement of company resources while working for Borgia Pharmaceuticals, credentials stripped after discovery of unauthorized and unethical experiments, impersonating a public health official, the list goes on and on. Once they got the desired Intel, Stone directed them to retrieve the Ragnarok Virus from the evidence locker so that it can be placed in quarantine, but by the time they got there, the sample had already been stolen." An Atlas Intelligence agent said over the scroll.

Agent Momoa
"The two guys watching the deal? After enhancing the video and carefully cross-referencing various databases, I can confirm that they are Rex and Alps, the two deadliest White Fang assassins to set foot on Atlesian soil. The fact that they were not trying to kill the buyer and the seller means that they were on recon. You will most likely have to fight them during your investigation of the nightclub, if Ozymandias hasn't killed them first. Nobody in the underworld gets as high up as him by being a pushover. Your ride's idling outside." Agent Momoa said to Wisteria right before she hung up and headed down the fire escape.
Freya
"I don't know what the Hell you have gotten yourself into, but Officer Kale informed me that Ozymandias is maintaining his position through a mountain of blackmail. The "go directly to jail and face a possible life sentence if this ever gets out" kind of blackmail. With that kind of dirt, the Mantle Police Department can bring the Avalanche Triad to its knees and hopefully free up much needed resources. In case you were wondering, Officer Kale has been reassigned to Mistral Town after what happened at the waterfront. His assumed identity being a hired gun makes his infiltration easier." Freya said to Wisteria as the Atlesian Specialist entered her vehicle, the Huntress heading straight for the Cronus Club, the car leaving Thundercracker Row after a few minutes. "Bluebell. That ain't a human last name. Don't worry. I'm a Faunus myself. A cone snail Faunus, to be precise." Freya said to Wisteria as they entered Mistral Town, the onboard computer indicating that they still had twenty miles to go before they reached their destination.

Ophidian And Gith Get Directions

Postby Flarbinia » Tue Apr 02, 2019 10:10 pm

Gith
"Another five hours. Three if it wasn't for this damn traffic." Gith said to Ophidian Viper as the two bounty hunters continued heading towards the Concrete Glacier, a nightclub that serves as the haunt of mercenaries, bounty hunters, assassins, Huntsmen, and Huntresses looking for jobs. "La Forge may need a special visor to see, but he is well connected enough to provide "discrete transportation" for a special fee. Luckily for us, he offers discounts for "frequent flyers", so I should be able to get transportation for two." Gith said to Ophidian as they crossed the street, a Faunus in a hoodie and Grimm mask staring at them, spiked arms indicating that he was praying mantis Faunus. "You guys looking to join the White Fang or looking for trouble? You are too well equipped to just be out for a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood." The praying mantis Faunus said to Ophidian and Gith, a machete in his hand. "We captured "The Perfectionist". You can lick the shit off my stinger for all I care, if I wasn't in a hurry to get to the Concrete Glacier." Gith said to the praying mantis Faunus. "So you are the ones who saved my dad from that madman? We lost a hundred men to that crazy hack. Take a right, go down the alley to your north, and take a left at the warehouse with the window with the mangled cobweb shaped crack. It should save you three hours. My name is Jason, by the way." The praying mantis Faunus said to Gith and Ophidian, the two bounty hunters heading right.

"Crimson Moon? I thought you guys were best buddies with the White Fang." Gith said to Ophidian, the assassin simply staring back at her. "Ah. Your leader saw an alliance with the White Fang as an opportunity for profit and made a short-term investment that is biting your clan in the ass in the long run. Forget that I asked you about it." Gith said to Ophidian right before his scroll began to ring, Ophidian answering it. "Finally! I've been trying to contact you since yesterday. Normally, I would tell you what your next assignment is, but one of our recent prospects turned out to be a deep cover Atlesian spy and we do not know how much of our equipment is bugged. Head to the Concrete Glacier. Look for a hammerhead shark Faunus. His name is Mike Typhon. He is the only contact on the continent that we can confirm is not compromised. He will give you the details." The Regent's Proxy said to Ophidian Viper before hanging up.

Gith And Ophidian Enter The Concreate Glacier

Postby Flarbinia » Mon Apr 08, 2019 12:14 pm

After five hours, they arrived at the Concrete Glacier. "Whoa, whoa. What do you think you're doing? Hired guns don't go through the front door unless they're looking for trouble. We take the side entrance. The man at the door will take us to the special area reserved for hired guns, provided that one of us gives him the password. Don't try acting like a badass. Devon thwarted several Crimson Moon assassination attempts when he was a bodyguard, not that his client needed any help with the ones who pulled a knife or a gun." Gith said to Ophidian Viper as she grabbed his shoulder and motioned for him to follow her, the two heading into the alley. Once they reached the side entrance, Gith banged on the bombproof door, the bouncer opening the slit for the eyes, his skin indicating that he is a swordfish Faunus. "Password?" Devon asked Gith, briefing glancing at Ophidian before staring back at her. "Camel Titties." Gith replied, Devon unlocking and opening the door. "So, how are things going? Word on the street is that you bagged some bail jumping failed director who killed hundreds just to make big bank on the black market." Devon asked Gith as he escorted her and Ophidian to a room with the word "Soldiers of Fortune only" written on the door in big black letters covered in infrared dye. "Yes. "The Perfectionist" will be doing time once he's back in Vale. As for me, there is a price on my head. I owe Angelo Candido big time. Me and Ophidian took out several of his assassins." Gith said to Devon. "Really? I'll have to being it up with your uncle. Nobody who's anybody in the underworld wants to lose the services of the Concrete Glacier's "special clientele" if it can be avoided." Devon said to Gith.

Ophidian Meets Switchblade

Postby Flarbinia » Tue Apr 09, 2019 5:54 pm

Gith
Ophidian and Gith entered the room, the room bustling with activity, the air filled with music and lively cheer, mercenaries and bounty hunters talking, arm wrestling, or chugging down booze while Assassins were playing craps or poker and Huntresses were pulling the lever of slots. At one of the nearby pool table, several Huntsmen tossed their lien onto the table and quit, the winner grinning as he took their money, the teeth indicating that he was a hammerhead shark Faunus. Ophidian approached him, the Faunus simply staring at each other. "Forty of your pals went missing near Frost Ale, all of whom had taken a very dangerous contract. This is an internal investigation. Restricted bounty- 50,000." Mike said to Ophidian before handing him a heavily encrypted scroll and left the pool table, Ophidian walking over to Gith. Devon and Gith headed upstairs, Ophidian following close behind. They entered an office that was quiet compared to the rest of the room, Devon leaving and closing the door. "Welcome back, Gith. I heard that you have gotten into financial trouble with the Candidos. Fortunately for all parties involved, Angelo has noticed that you collected the bounty for both of the double-crossing rats at the airport and ensured that his boys in prison will finally be able to deal with a sadistic thorn in his side. As for your Crimson Moon Boyfriend, I have already made travel arrangements." The owner said to Gith. "Thank you, uncle Switchblade." Gith replied.

"David Totenkopf." Switchblade replied, the entire room becoming silent. "That bastard is the most dangerous gunslinger to ever come out of Vacuo. The most ruthless Huntsman to ever graduate from Haven. The kind of man the Grimm Reaper wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. I may be not be a Faunus of faith, but I am half-tempted to pray to every god in existence every time I hear that name. Your missing comrades must have had a death wish or some very big balls of steel to take that contract." Gith said to Ophidian Viper as Switchblade handed them their first class tickets for the luxury airliner.

Neo Bisque Fails The Sabrena Test

Postby Flarbinia » Thu Apr 11, 2019 7:27 am

Kitty Valentine
Suddenly, an arrow hit Neo Bisque in the head, the blow knocking the First Year down. She felt another and another until her aura was depleted. "Your reaction time is slower than usual and you usually never fail to notice that your target is not alone. If those were real arrows, you would not live long enough to get hit by a third, considering that she is rich enough to equip Zhang "Split Arrow" Ten-Suns, her bodyguard and two-time winner of the Argus Marksmanship Tournament, with arrowheads that can deplete Aura with a single blow. You can retake the test after your next mission." Kitty Valentine, Shade's Infiltration Instructor, said to Neo Bisque as she removed her wig, the lights turning back on to reveal that Neo Bisque had been hit by blunted arrows. Unlike Beacon and Haven, which are so focused on creating heroes and heroines that the task of teaching the next generation of Huntsmen practical skills was delegated to secondary schools, Shade focused more on teaching their students practical skills: tracking, first aid, camouflage, the creation of improvised weapons, and wilderness survival. Infiltration was an elective, but one that taught skills that would be useful to have if a Huntsmen was assigned to urban areas. Of the students willing to participate, Neo Bisque had quickly risen to the top of the class, Selene coming in second place.

Kitty Valentine
"She is on a mission to Shipwreck Coast. You know which one I am talking about. Your team's next mission is much closer to home. Barclay Hills has relayed a missing person's case. Normally, the disappearance of a Scrap Collector would go unreported on account of their dangerous profession requiring them to head far from civilization, but Chase Gepid is a Contract Hauler, meaning that his absence would be noticed by whichever company was buying his finds." Kitty Valentine said to Neo Bisque as the bell rang, everyone heading down the hall.
Selene
Neo Bisque entered Enzo Maroni's classroom, her teammates already seated. "Kitty tell you about the mission? Azai found out from Professor Aquamarine, Stephen told me about it on my way here, and Azul overheard Enzo talking about a missing Contract Hauler." Selene said to Neo Bisque as her team leader took her seat.
