Prusselanden wrote:Jules and Jona
After finishing her latest job, Jules had earned quite a sum of money. It was a lucky day for the pair. Instead of searching for food, Jules was searching for a weapons shop.
"Where are we going? This isn't our usual routine." Jona asked, a bit grumpy at the distance.
"We're getting a firearm." Jules shrugged.
"....that was the last thing I was expecting. I thought you really weren't the combat type. What's this with buying weapons?"
"Well, I can't take care of you here if I keep getting torn up, you know?" The doctor sighed. "I'm sorry, but this job has been harder than I expected, and I've had to do things I would have never thought of doing to keep my promise to your mother."
Konrad
"Doesn't seem too difficult." Konrad shrugged his shoulders. He adjusted his wide brimmed hat to better cover his sensitive skin. "So who exactly are we killing? I won't expect you to answer, since you look like someone who keeps secrets, but I am curious about our soon-to-be victims."

Malius chuckled and said, "You are correct, I do keep quite a bit of secrets. But since we're going to be working together, I'll tell you are target. Apparently, some mage has been killing factory workers, and that doesn't make my clients to happy. Unfortunately, we don't have any witnesses, and to top it off we have to compete with some half-elf detective and an automaton." Malius sighed and turned to Konrad. "We'll most likely have to fight a few gangsters and mages, but I'm sure it'll be a fun experience. Anyway, if we are going to fight together, I should think you should tell me of any skills you have so we can fight better."

But I think 'ask' the detective what she knows, without her seeing our faces of course. It would save us some trouble and possibly point us in the right direction, as long as your fine with fighting an automaton and the detective." Malius walked over to the door and looked out to see if perhaps the detective would magically be there. Sadly, she was not, and he returned to Konrad.
