Good to here, I think I pushed colonization to hard to be honest. I chose darkness falls (boosts magic) and a magic improvement choice and only got one new arcana. Shame, but they were the my choices. I grew the population twice, too, but I think the spreading forced them to be around a total of 800 divided into 400, 200, 200. Giving me pleasant, but still mixed feelings about my choices.
I need to do mega breeding now, hey G how do we get new citizen pops? I think I want to create a massive population, that ain’t just peasant mobs.

You get 100 new pop per 500 you have every five years, iirc.
"You gain one more Peasant every five turns for every five Citizens your city-state already has."

I would imagine we could assign peasants to become soldiers, and assign freemen to become scholars or explorers or artisans, but I have no clue.

NPCs aren't fully distributed yet- I've only integrated the ones from Developments and idle PCs. And Hungary is pretty active, just seems to be on walkabout atm.

I came across weeds that would eat the local boars once, but there’s not much from what I’m next to, I mainly got horned horse, and drakelings.

It’s called the Republic of Saladonia because I requested it, but I’m mainly was brought on due to civil strife event I got. My people chose to reform the government. It didn’t specify the government, I did explain my intentions of becoming a republic to G, so I guess he was cool with it.
