Ah. Who are you planning to play as that is related to this organzation and what would their opinion be on the Vim Revolution?

Probably an inquisitor sent to monitor the city.

And they would view it the same way the Church viewed the industrial revolution and modernism. With distrust.

An inquisitor still around? Got to admit I wasn't expecting that.

Would they have the same view as the RCC has to magic in our world or would it be different for them?

The Church still officially had the Inquisition into 1908 before it changed its name, and today it is known as the "Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith"

It might be a little different. I'll have to look exactly what magic is like in this world. I'll probably end up creating a pretty detailed history and theology, as well as the structure, of this organisation.

Minor bit to mention is the clothing to be changed. Now when it comes to the forms of Vim most of it infused with her is Virl and Vash right? Would this cult try to pursue her?

Yeah the forms if vim is mainly Virl and Vash. As for whether the cult might try to pursue her it is something that i will have to consider.

Beyond that the clothing choices is meant to be far different from modern clothes in maintaining with a refusal to comply to the new world when ironically it was what brought her to life.

Is there a map or any basic history that I might need to know to go about creating an institution as influential?

Well the OP has the basic history of the world on the introduction, as for map there isn't one. This RP you can make up new lore for the world so long as it doesn't contradict too much with another piece of established lore

Would it be possible to say that the teleportation needing Vali comes from her scythe being enchanted and given to her upon completion of conversion. The source will come from the cult's rituals.

Character app. Tomorrow I'll make a post detailing the Ecclesiarchy's history, et cetera.

Character Application
Character Name: Venusta Navi
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: Venusta is a blonde beauty with spiral curls and sapphire eyes. She is 165cm tall, weighs 48kg, with measurements of 89/62/91. Venusta often wears clothing to emphasise her sex appeal, usually because of and despite of her occupation.
Personality: Venusta is absolutely loyal to her faith. She is able and willing to disregard a superior if she feels that his actions disregard the Ecclesiarchy's benefits or brings danger to the Ecclesiarchy. She has and will take independent action against a direct superior if those actions obstruct the Ecclesiarchy's goals. Venusta, in general, is calm and a logical thinker and a skilled actress. She harbours a sadistic side towards her opponents and is not without torturing and "playing" to get what she wants but often disguises these tendencies under the veneer of a typical young and coquettish woman.
Age: 25
Occupation: Inquisitor of the Ecclesiarchy
Likes: Torturing enemies of the Ecclesiarchy
Dislikes Heresy; magic
Skills: Well read and extremely educated not only in history and theology but in entertainment as well, usually for her infiltration operations, Veneustra can play several instruments, speak several languages, and in general knows how to show someone "a good time." She also has limited combat skills, in particular, the use of a knife and small firearms.
Sexual preference Heterosexual, but can pose as bisexual if a mission calls for it.
Identifying features Just her otherworldy beauty
Bio

Venusta was born and abandoned soon after. It's rumoured that her family, or at least one of her parents, was a noble or possibly something else entirely, as she grew up to be exceptionally beautiful. Regardless, she grew up in an orphanage run by the Ecclesiarchy. At a young age, she stood out for her talent for studies and languages, a fact noted by the local Sacredos.

Venusta's life likely would have been a short and quick one, or she would have ended up as a prostitute, were it not for the fact that she was born in an Ecclesiarchial orphanage where her talents discovered. Because she was given this opportunity her loyal to the Ecclesiarchy is unwavering, and she studied hard to become a cleric. The higher-ups realised that her talents would be wasted on local matters and sent her to train as an Inquisitor. At the age of 18, the local episocpus ordained Venusta and she was sent on several missions as an Inquisitor. She made a name for her devotion to the Ecclesiarchy and became known as one of its most fanatical clerics and given the epithet "the Iron Valkyrie".

Yeah without her scythe she can't really teleport and the dimensional instability around her might get slightly more unstable.

Gender: Male
Race: Human?
Appearance:
Image

Personality: WIP
Age: 28
Occupation: Autonomous City Inspector
Likes: Smoking, Cold Rainy Nights [or rainy nights in general], A good read
Dislikes Tedious work, Chess, Poultry based foods
Skills:
  • Close Combat - Due to the nature of his work, Fletcher has become quite adapt at close range fighting both armed and unarmed, though he prefers to conduct business without involving himself in a fight. In his words, "too tedious"
  • Devil in the Details - Despite his appearance, Fletcher has a keen eye, leaving him able to spot the small dispensaries in a situation and overall have advanced awareness of what is happening around him, almost subconsciously. Whether it be people and their actions or simply the environment around him
  • With the Flow - Though more natural than gained over time, Fletcher has an aptitude for adjusting to new circumstances and adapting or adjust to over come them. Whether it be a sticky situation, a rough night, or an unforeseen revelation, Fletcher can remain steadfast and calm, adjusting himself as needed. How much he plans, and how much he just makes up as he goes along is left for debate

Able to tell how they are connected to one another, why they may be and what the result of this is, sometimes clearly and others times like a gut feeling. As for why she came to Lumina i guess you could say that as the heart of Vim usage it is sort of the place for her to take revenge against the new world, so she might be sort of a known myth.

Also the app is relatively done by now unless there are other issues.

It will be interesting to see the possibilities between Catherine and Venusta, considering how they both run almost opposite of each other.
