His father was killed in an explosion in a factory when Vikram was 15. His mother was too poor to support him, so he left and moved into the Kottai building permanently. He began his education then, using stolen education material from university that he found on the darknet. He also began to run small delivery jobs for the larger Dravidians, some of them gangs. Once, his friends and he got into a skirmish with a Chinese gang, in the end Vikram and his friends escaped and injured one of the enemy gang members.
Anything you would like to add about this character: Weapon of choice is a basic RT-5 Plasma Cell Handgun. Vehicle is an “old-fashioned” tire-to-ground type car. It was cheap as most vehicles now are levitating or magnetic powered.

History of group: Tiruvitaa Kottai (Dravidian Fortress), or Kottai for short was formed in 2092 by V. R. Chakram with a couple of friends, with the remaining members joining later. As most of their parents either couldn’t provide for them or had disappeared, they all took over a tiny two story building that they still live in today.

This position as heiress to her father's position and fortune led to Rong being able to have almost anything she ever wanted, as even if it didn't seem available, the Triad always seemed to have methods. Despite this state of seeming luxuriousness, Rong's father was quick to begin grooming her for her new role, and before she knew it Rong was being taught schoolwork by private tutors and martial arts by her father.

Rong quickly climbed the scholastic ladder, even finishing her private schooling two years earlier than planned at the age of 16. It was only a year after this that she attended the Central University of Shambhala, double majoring in both economics and business. After her 4 year period a the university, Rong went on to gain her doctorate in law.

For nearly two years after her graduation, Rong spent her time helping out with the triad and exploring the streets of the 9th district, although she made sure to never stray too far from the comforts of a night spent at home. Eventually, a spark lit within her, and Rong announced her candidacy to be the 9th district's next city councilor. Using her charisma to project herself as a populist, Rong was able to win the election by a landslide, her relative anonymity in LiuChenTai's leadership helped her with the authorities, and the mysterious disappearance of her biggest opponent definitely didn't hurt either.

However, good times couldn't always last, and a few months after her victory, Jinhai Chen was shot killed by a small Dravidian gang from another district. This seemingly threw Rong's plans out the window, and the next day, she took the oath and became the LiuChenTai Triad's youngest and newest leader. Although she makes sure to execute her role almost flawlessly, as of now, Rong has stayed more in the shadows, keeping the anonymity that gives her a voice in Shambhala's governance.

As a representative to the City Council and relatively new leader of LiuChenTai, Rong has fought much more for the triad, and those under its protection, then the entirety of the district.

However, after the world went to chaos due to the North Korean biological weapon, the three controlling families of the triad paid their way to the Shambhala City Ark in the hopes of survival, even bringing with them a number of triad members. LiuChenTai was much more closely located to the ark of New Peking, but its leaders ended up choosing Shambhala in the correct hope that population explosion and a lack of centralization would allow their triad to flourish.

The first decade in the city was tough for the triad, but they were eventually able to recover and regrow to an impressive membership count. In the years since, LiuChenTai has been consolidating its hold over areas of the 9th district, knowing that the government will have little authority, or ability, to stop them. And while a small tax is included, the areas controlled by the triad have seemingly attracted people, mainly Han Chinese, due to promises of protection and a much more effective governing structure than Shambhala's actual one.

Each of them passes their position to their eldest child upon retirement or death. What age would you think of as appropriate? Would early 30's work? Because, while I do agree that Confucian values have long been very conservative and highly present in the Chinese community, I would argue that as time has gone on, and especially since the Communist Revolution in China women have seen a growth in power. Although they haven't risen to political power in the Communist-controlled one-party state, women have become a leading force in the Chinese economy, with a large number of its senior management jobs being held by women, as well as young daughters of the rich being spoiled and expected to exceed in life, often in the business field. Along with this, a number of albeit Western-influenced, yet still culturally Confucian states, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore have females in their governments. As for being a triad leader, I based this on just a structure in which each of the leading families passes the title/role onto their oldest child, and since Rong is an only child, she would be next in line after her father's death.
