Name: Midas
Origin: OC
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Species: Modified human
Appearance: 5’ 4” Inuit with short black hair in a fancy drab blue military uniform including a shako hat. He usually wears sunglasses, too.
Powers & Abilities:

Fusion & Fission: Midas has the powers of fusion and fission on a molecular level, which enables him to perform a variety of impressive feats. For example, he could change oxygen to sulfur, or break down uranium into a variety of elements. He can also use his powers to absorb any excess energy from fusion/fission he performs without any harm to himself, and he can also release it. However, his lack of knowledge and confidence relating to his powers means he is reluctant to actually utilize his abilities to their maximum possible abilities.

Prior military service: Midas served in his home nation’s military for three years before being injured in combat. As such, he has basic knowledge relating to military tactics, and knows how to use special equipment. Of course, he knows how to use a gun, and has a decent aim. He hasn’t served in the military for years, though, and is quite rusty in these fields.

Politician: After receiving a military discharge due to his injuries, Midas decided to become a politician, and even became a state governor with plans to run for the presidency. He’s good at making speeches and is skilled in governance and economics, while also having experience at pulling strings to help him advance in his goals.

Weaknesses:

Lack of Training: Midas’s biggest weakness is that while his abilities could make him nearly unstoppable if he was fully trained and knew about how his powers worked, he simply isn’t. This lack of training means that he can only use his powers in basic ways, or else they may hurt him or other people. (All of his stats listed are the maximum that he’ll use, not that he even uses them at that degree often.)

Limp: Midas has a limp due to an injury he gained while in active duty. While it isn’t too debilitating, he still walks with a limp and is horrible at running.

Attack Potency: Small building
Speed: Below average human
Lifting Strength: Above average human
Striking Strength: Small building
Durability: Above average human
Stamina: Above average
Range: 10ft
Intelligence: Above average
Equipment on Hand: Fancy uniform, a pocket watch from his grandfather with the whole extended family on it
Brief Bio/History*: WIP
Brief Personality Description*: WIP

Name: Janus
Origin: OC
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Species: Modified human
Appearance: 5’ 8” Ethnic Russian with medium sized dirty blonde hair. He'll be wearing hunting gear fitting Alaska.
Powers & Abilities:

Portal creation: Janus can create portals about 6ft tall and 3ft wide, and can close them instantly or alternatively keep them open for 10 seconds at most. He can safely manifest them within a 6 foot radius, anything further would be inaccurate and instable. They can travel through another portal Janus has made, or to a place he has been to before. (Though the second doesn’t always work.)

Superspeed: Janus’s portalling isn’t always the most efficient way to move around, as it can only go to a place he has been to before or to another portal he has made. As such, he can rapidly create accurate portals in front of him that allow him to move at speeds of up to 300mph. As such, he can move incredibly fast without his body or the environment around him acting like it.

Average marksmanship: Janus occasionally goes hunting, so he has average aim.

Secretary: This absolute madman used to work as a secretary, if y’all need any management, he’s your boy.

Weaknesses:

Lack of training: Like his brother (by adoption), Janus doesn’t know his powers too well, so his full potential is significantly dampened.

Attack Potency: While he’s just a normal guy, his powers could be used offensively depending on the surrounding environment.
Speed: 300mph
Lifting Strength: Average
Striking Strength: Average
Durability: Average
Stamina: Superhuman
Range: 7ft
Intelligence: Average
Equipment on Hand: Just his clothes

Name: The Spacecrafter (Celeste Elissa)

Origin: OC

Gender: Female
Age: Infinite
Species: Primordial
Appearance: True Form(Minus the scythe) Mortal Form

Powers & Abilities: Spatial Manipulation: The Spacecrafter is the embodiment of space itself. As such, she can freely alter it to her own desire be it bend it, create it, or destroy it.

Space Hopper: The Spacecrafter can travel between all dimensions of space at will either through teleportation or opening of rifts, and can bring others with her if she chooses to do so.

Deity: The Timewalker existed before the creation of the universe, and as such possess Type 4 Immortality.

Weaknesses: Watcher: Billions of years ago, the Creators agreed on a life on nonintervention, allowing life in the new universe to go its own way without their guidance. They only step in in cases of extreme importance, such as if there is a risk of permanent damage to the universe.

Hammer-forged: The Spatial Maul is a powerful tool of the Spacecrafter's, and her abilities when not wielding it are limited compared to when it is in her hands.

Limited Influence: The three Creators are all masters of different realms, and their abilities cannot crossover into the realm of another. This safeguards against any one of them becoming too powerful. This means the Spacecrafter cannot alter time, nor can she create or take Life beyond its natural interaction with space.

Primordial Spirit: Older than creation itself, the Spacecrafter is of a different breed entirely than mortals are. This can cause her to give off a sense of superiority even when not intended. This also makes her very unlikely to ever take orders from anything aside from her own family.

False Mortality: Being outside of her own universe, the Spacecrafter's True Form is very difficult to access. Doing so could possibly unravel the fabric of space in the foreign universe she's visiting, so it is a distant final option, not to even be considered until absolutely every other alternative possibility has been exhausted.

Attack Potency: Universal (True Form, with Spatial Maul) City level (Mortal Form)
Speed: Omnipresent (free movement throughout space) Superhuman (when not using shortcuts)
Lifting Strength: Class G (True Form) Superhuman (Mortal Form)
Striking Strength: Street class (Mortal Form)
Durability: City level (Mortal Form)
Stamina: In her Mortal Form, the Spacecrafter's stamina is limited, though still extremely high, continued use of spatial manipulation, especially unaided by her Maul, becomes tiring. In her True Form, it is almost unlimited.
Range: For a melee attack: the length of the hammer.
Intelligence: Nigh-Omniscient (the secrets of life and time will forever escape her though)

Equipment on Hand: Spatial Maul: The standard tool of the Spacecrafter, a long pole with a large hammer hear with two spiked ends and one hammer face. Its strike tears apart space on contact, allowing the wielder a greater control over the manipulation of the continuum. Can be summoned and banished at will.

Brief Bio/History: In the beginning, before there was a universe, there was a single being. This being, the Lifebringer, brought forth two other beings to assist it with creation. These two identical sisters were granted vast power over one part of the universe. The first was dubbed the Timewalker, for she was the living embodiment of time. The second was dubbed the Spacecrafter, for she was the living embodiment of space. The two sisters set out creating the universe, returning to their father when it was finished. With the new universe done, the Lifebringer breathed life across it, allowing it to thrive wherever it formed. Tiring from his task, the Lifebringer summoned his two daughters and together the three pledged an Oath of Noninterference for the fledgling universe. With the universe created and protected from the trio's influence, the Lifebringer tasked his daughters with its protection before falling into a deep hibernation.

For billions of years, the pair watched over the universe, only using their powers when the fate of all creation relied upon it. They spent time amongst the created, disguising themselves to observe how the mortals lived. The Timewalker was observing humans on Earth when the universe began to experience multiversal rifting. The Timewalker sought out her sister, believing she might have been the cause of the anomaly, though she was doing the same thing. When it proved that neither sister was responsible for the rifts, the pair decided that the best way to figure out the source of this new threat was to seek out their father and wake the Lifebringer.

Brief Personality Description: As a Primordial, the Spacecrafter is bound to the care of the universe she helped to create. While she still seeks to protect mortals, she does not have as much of an attachment to them as her older sister. While the Timewalker frequently ingrains herself into mortal society, the Spacecrafter prefers to usually observe from afar, staying true to their pact of nonintervention.

Whenever she does take a mortal form, she tends to be in positions that allow her to maintain distance from interfering in the lives of those around her while still gaining insight, such as a stenographer, reporter, or researcher. She doesn't want to influence society at large or any specific actions that people take in contrast to Dawn who insists on changing people's lives directly, to her sister's disapproval.

We'll need more information on these. Tell us what Type 4 Immortality is, and what the limits of her ability are. How far do they extend for example, can the target of her Spatial Manipulation resist it, etc etc.

Please expand on how the loss of the Maul can affect the Spacecrafter.

As for False Mortality, please clarify. From what I understand, the Spacecrafter refuses to use her True Form, and as such, she limits herself. Am I right or?

I have to admit, these stats are waaaay above the standard of the RP, the True Form stats at least. The Mortal Form Stats are pretty good otherwise, though, the Nigh Omniscience is rather vague and potentially Arc Breaking. Perhaps limit it to only her True Form? The Stamina Portion could use some more expanding too.

Before we decide, I gotta ask what you plan on doing with her Dem. Is she some sort of NPC for your arc or is she more along the lines of "Jumps between Arcs"? Either way, it's a pretty good app. Just gotta clarify a few things.

I pulled it from VS Battles, that should she 'die' she simply reincarnates another physical form

The Maul is like an amplifier, it allows her to use her powers to a much greater and more focused scale than if she tried using them without it. Without it she could create a pocket dimension, but with it she could create a much larger one with more detail.

She refuses to use her True Form, just like her sister does, for the health of the universe.

Her stats are the exact same as Dawn's, who's already in Crow's arc (they are twins in almost every way), and that's where she'd go to to find out why her sister has been gone so long.
Ayyy lmao

Powers & Abilities:
  • Pocket Dimension: Kiara possesses absolute control over a pocket dimension, a remnant of Echo and Avarice. This dimension is not entirely under her conscious control and often manifests scenarios, persons and representations of things that Valerian and Avarice saw throughout their travels. For example, intergalactic space wyrms which Valerian waged a decade-long war on, and baguettes which Ava ate in France. These entities are all fiercely protective of Kiara and can be summoned at will, with greater energy expenditure equalling greater summoned forces. Said entities manifest in the "real world" as conceptual representations of themselves, generally taking on strange and incomprehensible appearances. Their ability to deal damage and take it in return is determined by Kiara's willingness to hurt/kill. Breaking Kiara's skin reveals the pocket dimension, allowing the temporary escape of a number of potentially dangerous entities. However, their escape will widen the wound, eventually killing her if she is unable to seal the injury.
  • Eldritch: You know the deal. Space and time warp around Kiara like water. She involuntarily shapes it just by existing, creating and resolving temporal paradoxes and spatial loops by the minute. Damage to her, and therefore the leakage of the pocket dimension into reality, results in severe distortions. Due to her familiarity with such phenomena Kiara is largely immune to temporal distortions/dilation and spatial curving (like Avarice), able to navigate "impossible geometries" as easily as regular space. Essentially: remember all that tertiary stuff Avarice did with warping spacetime, terrifying people and breaking reality? Kiara does that too, except sometimes it's deliberate.
  • Shapeshifting: As a result of the combination of Valerian's evolution/vitality and Avarice's physical malleability, Kiara has the ability to shapeshift at will. However, she can only shapeshift her physical body; conceptual tags such as "this is Kiara" and "this is my enemy/ally" remain, meaning her transformation cannot be used to disguise or conceal herself. Confusing? Uhh... I don't think so, but then again I've kind of been writing this shit for years. Hey, ask me if you have questions! In any case she may morph into a variety of different objects and individuals, though she'll usually use this in a very limited capacity. There's nothing anomalous about this, it's just that she's extremely good at seeing through such phenomena.
  • Amalgamation: Kiara can eat people like Avarice. She gains strength from it, like Avarice. She can absorb life like Valerian. She gains strength from it, like Valerian. I'll probably revise the description so it works on its own but for now I think the comparison to another character/s works best. She also possesses both of their combined regenerative factors, allowing for mixed physical and conceptual/eschatological healing.
Weaknesses:
  • Quantifiabilie Limits: Kiara does not possess the physical or psionic abilities of either one of her progenitors, nor their durability. Because her consciousness is based off of Valerian's, and is therefore a human template, overusing her Avarice-inherited abilities runs the risk of consciousness dissolution or evaporation; an event where a human consciousness is so overwhelmed by the conceptual interface that it is destroyed and loses all agency. After all, Avarice's strength and durability came from her connection/direct correlation with the concept of hunger. Kiara does not possess Valerian's wealth of knowledge or his skills. She does not have Avarice's blackbody learning abilities, nor her interstellar perceptive range. She is merely a human granted great power and loaded with great expectations. Furthermore, although connecting to the conceptuosphere grants Kiara great physical abilities, any energy expended is taken from her pocket dimension. Therefore, overuse of such abilities will eventually drain her pocket dimension of all matter and energy.
Attack Potency: Human | Sub-human to multi-universal. Summoned entities are usually from human to large building level | Town level
Speed: Human | Immobile to omnipresent. Summoned entities are usually from human to hypersonic level | Sub-relativistic
Lifting Strength: Human | N/A to multi-universal. Summoned entities are usually from human to Class-K | Class-T
Striking Strength: Human | N/A to galactic. Summoned entities are usually from human to large building level | Town level
Durability: Human | Sub-human to multi-universal. Summoned entities are usually from human to large building level | City block level
Stamina: Human | Nearly infinite. Summoned entities are "powered" by the energy contained within the pocket dimension | Nearly infinite; all energy is derived from the pocket dimension
Range: Human | N/A to inter-universal. Summoned entities usually engage at melee range to dozens of miles away | Point-blank
Intelligence: Human | N/A; all entities are subconscious manifestations of Kiara's memories or those of her progenitors | Nigh-omniscient
Key: Kiara baseline | Pocket dimension creatures | Kiara realised (interface with concepts)
Equipment on Hand: UNDEFINED
Brief Bio/History*: Created by/from Avarice and Tone. An entity with the mixed blessings/abilities of all parties involved. Gestated from the pocket dimension of Ava, experienced in nearly all the things Valerian was. Unbelievably competent and powerful but lacking personality and purpose, which its absent progenitors were unable to produce. Will likely rely on the education of others to achieve status as the entity which both Avarice and Valerian intended, a self-deterministic creature with the ability to go in any direction, but a strong desire to do good. Serves as a complete fit for The Cycle's requirements and will potentially come to resent the false choices offered by its creators as well as The Narrative. LIKELY OUTCOME: FR-TABOO, SUBVERSION OUTCOME: EN-STIGMA: quiet apprehension with knowledge of their conflict's inevitability or an interstellar feud which severely impacts both parties' personalities and experiences.
Brief Personality Description*: UNDEFINED

Name: SUCCESSOR/DESCENDANT ENTITY - PROGENITOR CHARACTER CR-3'A+3'B. Skye (FN) Minerva (LN) ETY'R: Skye, "protection, scholar"; thematically fits narrativistic rebellion and obsession with knowledge and self-realisation through physical study. ETY'R: Minerva, "intellect"; equivalent of Athena but with significant mythological deviation in importance, fitting the more passive role DESCENDANT ENTITY CR-3'B plays in GEN2.
Universe of Origin: Irrelevant/nonexistent (Specifically chosen due to originating myth, OC)
Gender: Female
Age: 0 at the initialisation of its story.
Species: Narrative constant (BIO: HUMAN)
Appearance: Tall, athletic human female. Green eyes, pale skin indicative of Northern American heritage (British ancestry). No outstanding cosmetics (scar tissue, lesions, e.t.c). Brown hair with dark roots, reaches lower shoulder blades at rest. Tied back in a ponytail under normal circumstances. COMBAT READY: IRRELEVANT, DELILAH AND VANTH FULFIL TROPE ALREADY. Initially clothed in (MAINTAIN CRS 3'A AESTHETIC) leather boots (black), wool pants (grey), buttonless uncollared cotton shirt (dark grey), pocketed wool/fur coat (drab brown) and a wool scarf (MEMENTO OBJECT, stained with blood, swamp-green/black striped)
Powers & Abilities:
  • Hard Light: Able to create objects out of solid light similar to Jacquelyn. However, this ability lacks the explosive or thermal aspect of the aforementioned character, meaning they may not be used to concussive or highly destructive ends. Said objects are extremely mobile and durable, possessing a consistency that may be varied at will, achieving hardness similar to uncleaved diamond and softness equivalent to surfactant affected water (REPHRASE: IS TOO TECHNICAL). They may be used to impart forces similar to an object as dense as elemental osmium travelling at speeds up to Mach 150. Said appendages are largely used for the purposes of traversal or combat. This ability also grants Skye limited immunity to heat, up to 11,700 degrees Kelvin (ambient).
  • Intuition: Skye becomes aware of incoming threats instantaneously as they arise. The definition of such threats is any object or projectile that may be observed via the five human senses to a reasonable degree which poses an imminent threat to her life or wellbeing. For example, a bullet would qualify as soon as it were fired; allowing her the same amount of time to react as it would take for the bullet to reach her. A person planning to shoot her however, would not qualify, as they themselves would not represent a life threatening variable. This ability is most applicable during close quarters combat, allowing Skye to become cognisant of incoming threats such as knives, bullets and large objects/vehicles. She may not detect objects that have not become threats yet; for example, a car which a man plans to run her over with. She only becomes aware of the car once it's set on a path with sufficient velocity to reach her and deal significant damage.
  • Narrativistic Damage: Skye can destroy someone's narrative, something even more haxworthy than Kiara's conceptual attacks. Narrativistic wounds damage the person on a fundamental level, both physically and mentally. Those afflicted by story-based wounds will suffer degradation in physical abilities, mental capacity and skilfulness in combat. These wounds will generally heal due to the self-resolving nature of stories, but while they are in action, the sufferer will have to put up with these drawbacks. She may inflict these wounds via hard light attacks or via pyrokinesis. Her pyrokinesis is limited by the size of The Flame (check equipment). However, her pyrokinesis and ability to destroy others' narratives increases during the consumption of narratives, which occurs whenever she kills someone in a story. By killing someone using her hard light or pyrokinetic abilities, she is literally feeding the flame using the victim's reality. Memories of the victim will fade, documents which talk about the victim will be expunged and The Flame will grow larger. it is through growing The Flame that she hopes to fulfil her mission, as she may delete the characters/stories required to fuel The Cycle.
Weaknesses:
  • Physical constraints: Intuitive limits have already been explained in their own section. The specific weakness/drawback of using hard light is that generation of it causes both physical atrophy due to energy expenditure and symptoms of radiation poisoning, dehydration, heat stroke, conflagration and spontaneous human combustion. Skye's skin will visibly char from her fingertips up to her shoulders and beyond. She will begin to feel delirious and be unable to sweat, feeling the effects of long term heat exposure despite her apparent immunity to thermal damage. She will begin vomiting, going pale, bleeding from the gums and bruising. Moving hard light at great speed exascerbates this effect massively, potentially searing her down to her skeletal tissue, resulting in advanced atrophy and organ damage. She will also emit a great deal of alpha, beta and gamma radiation (primarily/almost entirely alpha) during times of great distress, potentially giving nearby individuals radiation burns.
Attack Potency: Assuming this is determined via a 1,200kg appendage moving at mach 150, thereby producing 1.58826e+12 Joules of energy, multi-city block level. Narrativistic burns bypass most conventional durability, allowing Skye to potentially damage star level characters.
Speed: Subsonic via hard light locomotion. Massively hypersonic in the case of hard light itself.
Lifting Strength: Human. Class G via hard light.
Striking Strength: Human. Multi-city block level via hard light.
Durability: Human. Multi-city block level via hard light.
Stamina: Lower than average due to hard light expenditure.
Range: Several miles.
Intelligence: Greatly above average. Inhumanely intuitive whilst examining physical surroundings, less competent at reading sapient expression. EXPLAN: Mythological connections to Minerva, The Answer, PROGENITOR ENTITY 3'B's arc.
Equipment on Hand: The narrativistic torch / The Flame. A flame tied to Skye as a character. She may summon it at any time regardless of the circumstances. It usually appears as a candle flame which instantaneously erases anything that comes into contact with it. However, it may be expanded via the consumption of narratives. The larger it is, the more absolute power Skye can wield.
Brief Bio/History*: Created by/from Jacquelyn. A hunter designed and dedicated to breaking the narrative cycle. Suffused with extraordinarily potent energetic abilities and an awareness of the narrative. Meant to prematurely terminate the arcs and stories of each other character, thereby preventing the continuation of The Seven. Currently fixated on CRS 1-2 DESCENDANT ENTITY. Begins the story uninfluenced by Jacquelyn's past, ergo they do not have any particular compulsion to fulfil their predestined role. However, their personality is constructed in such a way that they come to see The Cycle as unnecessary and deliberately malicious. Though, they will likely see the irony in the fact that they are controlled by Jacquelyn and The Narrative, whereas before Jack was merely controlled by The Narrative. Ergo, their existence is a departure from Jackie's self-stated motivations. Remembers everything Jacquelyn does.
Brief Personality Description*: Extremely flippant and apathetic, initially unwilling to accept authority of any sort. Eventually rounded and humble, a quiet hermit trying to experience a world they know that their actions will affect; as their enormous reservoirs of power allow them to influence not just the arcs and consequences of The Cycle but all involved entities/textual narratives. Mixed feelings about origin, CRS 3'B PROGENITOR CHARACTER, fluctuating between intense resentment and undersold empathy. Protective of some, absolutely vindictive towards others. Stuck in a world of black and white. Highly competent, highly confident, self-deterministic and yearning self-realisation before its ultimate confrontational phase with CRS 1-2 DESCENDANT ENTITY.

Name: Peter Parker

Universe of Origin: Marvel:

Gender: Male

Age: 32

Species: Human (Technically a Mutate, which is just a human that’s gained super powers through mutation)

Appearance: The Raimi Suit. Peter himself is tall, fit, lean, has neatly combed hair that sticks a bit forward, and a short but well groomed and trimmed beard.

Attack Potency: Building Level. He’s a heavy hitter who can easily kill most humans and creatures in a single hit if he wishes to, so he frequently pulls his punches. He can still punch and force his way through most barriers.

Weaknesses: Should someone find a way to disrupt his Spider-Sense, it is incredibly jarring and uncomfortable for Peter to experience to the point that it affects how his mind physically processes the world; often in a negative way that affects his physical movement. It's also possible to overwhelm him, which will severely disorientate or incapacitate him.

It's possible to create a specialized Pesticide that can target the rewritten spider DNA in Peter's body, which can in theory cause a complete genetic breakdown of his body.

Emotional Issues: Peter will almost always choose to save lives if he has the chance. This can EASILY be used against him. He also has an incredible amount of issues from his past, and while he’s more or less solved them, if confronted with them, it could throw him off.

His loved ones. Cliche, but if they’re in danger...he can likely be coerced. Or pissed of beyond what can be imagined. Hurting them won’t help you much either.

Range: He has a standard melee range, but his physical versatility allows him to easily cover large distances and makes him a far reaching opponent, especially with his webbing, which extends his range by tens of meters.

Intelligence: Minimum of Gifted, maximum of Extraordinary Genius. Peter was the smartest kid growing up, but this - Along with a severe lack of social skills - cost him social success in school. When further burdened by his responsibilities as Spider-Man, his academic potential was squandered even more. Peter is often the most book smart person in the room, and has an incredible amount of raw intelligence - He has at times, worked for tech companies such as Stark Industries and OsCorp. But ultimately, Peter’s hectic lifestyle prevented him fully pursuing his academic dreams. While he graduated as valedictorian of his high school, he dropped out of college (Though this was primarily due to personal issues in his life) and he never achieved his true potential. Still, Peter is a very intelligent, and more importantly, creative and resourceful person, and he uses this primarily in his duties as Spider-Man: He constructs his own gadgets, suits, and tactics to battle his opponents.

Equipment On Hand: His crimefighting superhero costume and web cartridges (With unique webbing as well) He can alter his suit to have a built in police scanner and occasionally carries tracking devices called Spider-Tracers, but prefers being minimalistic.

Brief Personality Description: Fairly calm, rational, down to earth, and mature. While in the last he had very deep seated issues, mostly dealing with unresolved guilt, grief, and rage, he’s long since gotten over it, and has mellowed out an incredible amount. While operating under his masked identity, he is MUCH more confident, energetic, and outgoing, constantly quipping to throw his enemies off their game via agitation, and to calm any possible bystanders: By showing off that he doesn’t take his enemy seriously, he shows that he’s in control, and that everyone is safe. Still, despite his reliance on humor, he doesn’t make it his crutch, and knows when and when not to joke around. He’s long since past his youthful days where he responded to everything with a smart remark. His age has gifted him with experience, wisdom, maturity, and most of all, peace.

Brief Bio/History: You guys know the story, so let’s jump to the end: Peter is happily married to the love of his life, one Mary Jane Watson, and together they have a daughter named Gwen. He is currently working full time at a homeless shelter called FEAST, where he gets paid to do his dream job of helping people. He is also a co-owner (Alongside Mary Jane) of a Spider-Man merchandising company. He is completely and totally happy and at peace with his life.

I took a break, focused a bit on life, did some soul searching, and decided to try my luck on RPing again with a new perspective. Not much more to it than that.

Arc Name: Along the Watchtowers
Moderator: Petrokovia
Genre: Science Fiction, Action, Military Drama
Summary: In shambles after the multiversal conflicts of Shadows of the Empire, the Multiversal Union must rise from the ashes in order to meet a new, even greater threat, in the form of a psychopathic hive mind who seeks to absorb the souls of all in its path. Meanwhile, the heroes shall discover many secrets and forgotten history of the worlds and peoples constituting the MUDP, particularly Corneria.

Name: VIRM
Universe of Origin: Darling in the Franxx
Number of Members: Unknown; VIRM has absorbed many thousands of civilizations, but needs many souls to make a single projection, limiting the number of projections they may create. VIRM has hundreds of thousands of ships in its space armada.
Notable Members: VIRM
Description of Faction's Tech, Powers, & Abilities: VIRM are a manipulative, power hungry hive mind, transcended into a being of pure energy. The hive mind projects as any number of 4 pointed, star-shaped energy forms, each with two similarly shaped masks side by side, used to resemble eyes; these projections are non-corporeal, and may break back down into energy in order to disappear or appear at will, absorb the soul and life force of any living creature (this does not work if the target has a strong will), speak telepathically, and manipulate energy for the use of attacks (i.e. generate lightning, fire, lasers, etc.).

VIRM control hundreds of thousands of planets, and use them to mass produce a massive, almost entirely automated space fleet, with hundreds of thousands of ships of various class, as well as drones and robots for various roles. VIRM's military industrial complex is able to create WMDs capable of shattering planets. Their ships are armed with laser weapons and shields, and employ extremely advanced technology. VIRM ships are capable of accelerating past the speed of light, and may cross an entire star system in a matter of hours.

VIRM are masters of propaganda and manipulation, preferring to trick entire civilizations into willingly sacrificing their own souls to VIRM. They are skilled in hacking and generating malware and viruses to be deployed in enemy technology. In addition, VIRM have developed technology allowing them to open rifts in spacetime, to supplant their ships' slower FTL capabilities.

While making a projection, VIRM are vulnerable to physical attacks, which may destroy the souls making up the projection. VIRM have a number of homeworlds which, if destroyed, would completely eradicate VIRM.
