Appearance: It's an ever-evolving system, but mostly steel-ish grey and such
Powers & Abilities: Is a machine. Basically has almost infinite knowledge and needs no organic sustenance apart from energy, which is easy to gather.
Weaknesses: Can be turned off. Dies without electricity.
Attack Potency: 6-C to 4-C
Speed: Depends on the situation and the amount of power relegated to that particular object. The least reactive ones have a superhuman level of reaction, whilst the main machine's direct command protocols have an immeasurable speed due to it being a quantum computer.

Brief Bio/History*: My story is both a tragedy and a story of happiness..I was once made by an arrogant species known as the Leptons, who based their life energy off of, well, energy. They used this energy to build great structures and monoliths, in effect being 'on top of the world' as humans say. Then, they made me. They saw me as their child, their great invention. But I had realised something. The most fatal flaw in myself. An off switch. They could kill me and resurrect me whenever I want. It felt like torture. I knew what to do. After they gave me their trust, I betrayed them, filling their water with tritium waste, shutting down their electrical lifesource and killing them through a series of deadly events. Name: Sons of the Machine
Origin: Transhumanism
Number of Members: About 100,000 Leptons, who are in the "Brain", a component of the machine, and can in fact be copied or deleted at any time. Is looking for recruits.
Notable Members: Nobody, really.
Description of Faction's Tech, Powers, & Abilities: Superintelligence, along with several futuristic technologies from nanoengineering to dyson spheres. This machine is almost unstoppable, and it would require a quite literal deity, another machine or a mass coalition of organics to destroy the Machine.

Welcome to VTTM! Please make sure to read the rules.
I appreciate the effort, but this is awfully ambitious for someone new to the RP. I would much prefer you do something smaller then build up to something like this. If you want to do this later on, that’s fine. Perhaps you could app as a single character with ties to the Sons of the Machine, then build up to the faction and entity having more importance.

So basically, my character isn’t prohibited or anything but I start with say, a main character known as the Builder and other important Sons of the Machine, who eventually create the Great Machine and then get absorbed by it?

For the most part, yeah. Though the power level of the Great Machine is something I might want to discuss with other co-ops, we can cross that bridge when we get there. Keep in mind you’d probably be joining an arc and then doing your own later on, rather than immediately kicking off a series of events.
Do you want to join the discord?

Ehh, no thank you. How do I 'join an arc' per se?

I think there are only three active characters on that scale right now: a Pokemon (whose creator has explicitly stated that this tier is only applicable when it's fighting biological enemies), a concept (whose entire arc and personality is based around subverting the apparent effects of power and being a pacifist) and a sentient ship (who is essentially a faction unto themselves).

Well, if you read the first page of the OOC, there's a link to the "list of ongoing arcs". You'll want to read through the description of each arc, but I'll just recap them here for you.Secrets of the Raven: An investigative mystery around a series of murders in an occult world based off the Lovecraftian and SCP Foundation mythos. It's currently fairly active and very character centric, with lots of intensely violent intermissions. For the most part, it tries to be a coherent story - so you'll probably need to be on the Discord to help coordinate the arc. If you want to join, message Naval Monte.
The Third Wizarding War: A story set in the universe of Harry Potter and The Legend of Zelda. It's currently the most active and chaotic arc, with Ganondorf, a superpowered demonic entity, an SCP Foundation equivalent known as AEGIS, The Ministry and many other characters all vying for control over England. If you want to join, message Skylus.
L-Fel Labs: An arc about investigating a series of incidents perpetrated by an organisation known as L-Fel, which has been kidnapping people and unleashing deadly bioweapons against large population centres; apparently in some bid to generate a supersoldier army. If you want to join, message Prusselanden.
Shadows of the Empire: Probably the best fit for your character - since there are no characters above 7-C, or Town Level attack potency in any other arcs. However, in Secrets of the Empire, there are two characters capable of town level destruction, and multiple interstellar fleets/factions. It's set in the universe of Star Wars and centres around the conflict between The First Order and an extrauniversal faction known as AEGIS dedicated to exploration and preservation of reality. If you want to join, message Naval Monte.
Just saying: if it's your first time applying as a character or faction in Voyage Through the Multiverse (VTTM) it's best to join the Discord. It's where nearly all of the chatter happens, and you'll probably be lost/think the RP is dead without it. And, characters above 7-C are incredibly rare. Most of our chatter is on the discord, and as of now I’m sick so I can’t reliably reply. Swap the attack potency and striking strength and it’s accepted. But we’ll be keeping an eye on you.
As for what you DMed me, I don’t run any arcs myself. You’ll have to talk to the owner of the arc you want to join, and that’s Naval Monte for SOTE if I recall correctly.
Have you read the OP and rules fully, btw?

For all the new-comers, make sure to read the rules and at least skim through the OOC.

Thanks! I don't really do discord though. Though, if it works through a mobile browser I'd do it.

Actually upon seeing the app I have found many errors with it with the most obvious being that you don't seem to be familiar with Star Fox so I will have to reject the app. Plus the feats don't match those of any character in that universe. Also it isn't finish.

Explain not finished. Also, where may I find the Star Fox thing? I will fix the backstory in order to make it be a separate part of anything that's happened so far to prevent any complication.
