Realm Name: The Kharqorin Alliance.
Location/Territory claimed(check map): 383-443 (this will change after Mersdon and I decide on a border).
Population: 7,000,000 (7 million).
Leader: Timur Khan.
Ruling House (dynasty): Kharqorin Dynasty.
System of government: An economic and military alliance, similar to the EU and NATO. All of the individual countries are still sovereign entities with various government types due to this just being an alliance.
Significant Sub-realms: Kharqorin is the capital.
Culture(s): Southern Mainland: Analogous to the culture of the Turks when they migrated into Central Asia, except that they are more sedentary and seafaring. Northern Mainland: Analogous to the culture of the Hungarians when they first established the Principality of Hungary, except they are more seafaring. Islands: Analogous to the culture of the Persians. Due to the Kharqorin Alliance being in a wet, temperate forest rather than the steppe, grasslands, and desert, the cultures here are different from their analogous cultures on Earth.
Religion(s): Various religions.
Magic Tradition(s): Shamans in the central mountainous areas have mastered magic, but they use it mainly to entertain people (fireworks, funny clouds, etc.). They refuse to use it in any way that has large effects.
Foreign policies/agendas: It tries to remain as distanced from other countries as possible, though countries within the Kharqorin Alliance interact a lot with each other. The Alliance, despite being made up of many sovereign countries, has a united foreign policy.
Trade (Imports/exports/policies): Due to isolation, not much exported or imported. Trade of fish, pearls, cash crops, food crops, lumber, and precious metals and minerals is mostly within the Alliance.
History: At first, all of the countries in the peninsula were small and separate, with much diversity even within the three main culture groups. After Nosewagania annexed Sakatia, the peoples of the peninsula decided to form an alliance to protect themselves from others. They decided to make the Kharqorin Dynasty the head of the Alliance because the Kharqorin Dynasty is directly descended from a Tulivag Turk who helped fight against the Worldkillers and saved the area from being destroyed by the Worldkillers. The current Khan of Kharqorin, Timur Khan, is thus the Head of the Alliance.
Additional Information:(anything else you want to say?) Timur Khan is slowly trying to strengthen the Alliance into a unified Khanate with him as the Khan. Timur Khan is skilled at realpolitik and is good at pursuing his goals through practical means, though this also means that he has almost no values.

That map is really well-designed! Are there designated climate types for these regions, and if so, can my area have an oceanic climate similar to Christchurch, New Zealand?

Ruling House (dynasty): The Balian house.
System of government: A blend Absolute Monarchy between Feudalism with the Duke holding absolute power over everything in the Duchy with his vassals simply managing the provinces for him by collecting taxes, approving construction projects, managing the local garrisons etc. But they are required to report what they are doing to the monarch who can cancel what they are doing if they wish.
Significant Sub-realms: Dreyjan(Capital) located at 294, Atril located at 285, and Voswor located at 290.
Culture(s): The culture is similar of RL Roman culture with military glory being one of the most sought after thing followed by amassing wealth. Religion plays a very important part in most lives in the Duchy. Social roles for genders are very traditional and slavery is widely accepted as a necessity in the nation. The most important thing for someone to do is considered serving the state whether that be in the military fighting for the state or trading make money for the state.
Religion(s): Dymolly is the main religion in Drazar. It worships a deity call Dymon who is believed to be the creator of the world and grants victory to his followers.
Magic Tradition(s): Magic is used mostly for battlefield application but is to a lesser extent used for things like farming, building, mining and other such labor. The main use of magic in Drazar is enhancing strength, speed, agility, endurance etc along with very basic control over fire. Magic is believed to be gain by proving yourself worthy by helping the state and being a devout follower of Dymolly. Magic is seen positively in Drazar being seen as a tool that can be used to help the nation grow.
Foreign policies/agendas: Officially states loyalty to the Nosewaganian empire but has secret plans to break away and become an independent kingdom. In the mean time it try's to keep friendly relations with neighboring realms and with the more powerful realms trying to gain allies.
Trade (Imports/exports/policies): Trade in Drazarian ports are taxed with the main Drazarian exports being Iron, Timber, Grain, Weapons, and Silver. The main imports are Silk, Gold, Furs, and Wine.
History: The Drazarians started as a bunch of separate tribes who were often at conflict with each other. Over decades these tribes progressed into city states that continued to fight with each other. (Kind of like the ancient Greek city states.) This seemed to have no sign of stopping until the King of Dreyjan Frances Bailey managed to untie the city states through diplomacy and war. With this the kingdom of Drazar was born.

The kingdom of Drazar started out as more of a federation with many different cultures and each of the city states acting as more of a loose collection of allies. But over the years the monarchs of Drazar began to consolidate their power centralizing the government more and more. This caused anger among some of the nobles and they attempted a rebellion and managed to overthrow the The Balian house from the throne and installed a puppet king. But a couple of years later the exiled king with a foreign army marched in and reclaimed his throne and through massive amounts of execution re established order.

Much of the powers of the nobles would be stripped so that they may never challenge the monarch again. And this worked for the next few decades until the Nosewaganian empire defeated the Drazarians in battle and forced the king of Drazar to swear loyalty and become a vassal becoming the Duchy of Drazar and this has been the situation there for a while but the current Duke does have changes to plan this...
Additional Information:The military works that the Duke keeps a small professional army of 2'000 men in Dreyjan at his direct command with the vassals providing more manpower usually by bringing in their local garrison along with some more conscripted men. The army is complimented with a couple hundred noblemen acting as heavy Calvary, heavy infantry, and Archers, The army is like an medieval European army focusing on heavy infantry along with heavy Calvary and light Calvary and skirmishers such as bowmen and crossbowmen acting as support.

Personality: He is a very clever, cunning man thinking over and planning his decisions. On the battlefield he is a good commander who while not being much a warrior through charisma is able to inspire loyalty in his men. With his friends and family he shows a bit more of a friendly side though.
Strengths and skills: Logistics, Planning, Acting, Diplomacy, and Military strategy.
Flaws and weaknesses: He is terrible with a bow, Can be to overconfident in his ability's, And he has no magic so in terms in that he has to rely on advisers for that.
Wealth and special possessions: Edmond has direct control over the city of Dreyjan the capital and most profitable city of Drazar being a massive port city surrounded by fertile lands and silver mines. He also has direct command of the small 2'000 man professional army stationed there. Edmond is pretty wealthy due to the estates that he owns near Dreyjan and due to the fact that a small part of the tax revenue goes to him. His armor is the ceremonial armor of the Drazarians kings and is quite durable. His sword is an ancestral weapon being supposedly used by Frances Bailey the first king of Drazar.
Biography: Edmond was born to Duke Nichol Bailey and Duchess Alyson Bailey who raised him in Dreyjan until he was 14 when he was sent to Atril to gain experience in politics by participating the court there. Over the next 10 years Edmond would stay there being mentored in by Earl Bartholomew Dalison who governor Atril and was an experienced and competent military commander. But when he was 24 he learned that his parents had died in an accident leaving him the eldest child to take control as Duke.

He traveled by to Dreyjan and became Duke Edmond Bailey of the Duchy of Drazar ready to lead the Duchy into hopefully one day it´s independence.
Closest family and friends: Barnard Bailey: Age 22 brother of the Duke and a militarily commander, Catherine Bailey: Age 21: Sister of the Duke and a savoy politician, Bartholomew Dalison: Age 44, Friend and mentor of the Duke and Earl of Atril.

Liege-lord: He technically swears loyalty to Emperor Horcegus II of Nosewagania but he is not thrilled about it and does have plans to change it in the future...

Magic Tradition(s): Elves of Erinfrosche are the worshippers of Malassa. They are sinister and cruel figures who practice all sorts of dark magic and curses against their enemies.
Foreign policies/agendas: Erinfrosche isn't truly loyal or aligned to any faction. To the elves of Erinfrosche, nothing matters outside wealth and resources, they are willing to kill and fight anyone if the price is right. However, this attitude changed a bit as Alsorin ascended into throne, he seek to make Erinfrosche more than a disreputable arms-for-hire group.
Trade (Imports/exports/policies): Monopoly: blood irons (a special iron extracted from a certain type of ore found only in Erinfrosche, very durable, though small in production), Chorymus (a type of purplish violet crystal made used on staves; acts as a magical catalyst that amplifies the power of all dark magic spells <though there are alternatives>), vaeteris (a type silk produced from a worm found only in Erinfrosche. Has bio-luminescent properties, very expensive and is considered a luxury).
History: Established from those who rejected the way of the wood elves, Erinfrosche had always been bit of a trouble in the eyes of King Myrdin. After numerous failed raid attempts by King Myrdin's forces, Erinfrosche survived with its mysterious champion creatures found in the deep abyss.

Personality:Intelligent, calculative, deceptive. Alsorin is a mastermind in political and covert strategies. To him, there is no honor, or glory or valor, all that mattered was getting things done in the most efficient and effective manner. Alsorin, as a dark mage, has killed, nor is he afraid of killing. However, below that cold and sinister exterior is an elf with a tragic past, who's paranoid and never truly trusted anyone side from his deceased parents.
Strengths and skills:A true expert at dark magic and curses. Alsorin is also highly capable of planning out his attack
Magic Abilities: Phantom Ahlspiess: Alsorin can summon up a wave of dark energy that impales his target from ground up, (however, it can only work on one target at a time). Shadow vortex: Alsorin can unleash dark energy in the form of a vortex that damages everything within a 5mx5m area. This instantly kills any poorly-armored creatures within the area of effect (however, the target will be unaffected if protected by an object that counteracts dark magic). Mind-leashing: can mind control an individual/creature for up to an hour, can mind control 3 living beings at a time (doesn't work if someone is protected against dark spells, doesn't work on constructs or undead, doesn't work on creatures that are naturally protected against magic)
Flaws and weaknesses:paranoid, trust issues, mildly power-hungry
Wealth and special possessions: King of Erinfrosche, extremely wealthy and possesses various one-of-a-kind artifacts, such as dragon soul stave and shadow veil cloak.
Biography: Born as the illegitimate son to King Ilvisar of the wood elves, a civilization that once lived in a forest inside a large crater (now owned by Erinfrosche). Alsorin had a rather joyous childhood living with his caring mother and stepfather. His nightmare came one day, when King Ilvisar realized Alsorin's true identity, and sent assassins to kill him and his family. Out in the wood hunting, Alsorin managed to escape his almost certain death, but returned home to the bodies of his mother and stepfather kill by a storm of arrows. Alsorin decided to escape, to him, there was no other option, certainly living under the shadow of Ilvisar was not an option to him. There, he escaped to Erinfrosche, and was enlisted by Lord Marikoth of House Laeroth as a plain combat caster, whom would cast simple dark spells on the battlefield against the enemies of Erinfrosche. Almost insignificant and unrecognized, Alsorin eventually distinguished himself as the first, and only person to be able to cast Phantom Ahlspiess, which earned him the title as the leader of combat casters. With the help of his influence, he persuaded Lord Marikoth to kill King Myrdin. It worked, paranoid and worried about his personal safety, Lord Marikoth staged a coup against King Myrdin, which failed, as Alsorin informed King Myrdin of the plot days before it happened. Following the execution of Lord Marikoth (Marikoth was killed by black dragons, which symbolized Erinfrosche's might and supremacy. Many scholars in Erinfrosche believe Marikoth's execution through dragons was very symbolic), Alsorin was chosen to take over House Laeroth, there, he served as one of King Myrdin's closest advisors, who would later on ascend into the throne of Erinfrosche upon the death of King Myrdin. Third year of his reign, Alsorin declared war on King Ilvisar and the wood elves inside the crater to avenge his mother and stepfather. Ilvisar did not see this coming, he underestimated the power of Alsorin's army and his knowledge toward dark spells. The battle was won, and Erinfrosche fully claimed the crater, and expanded further into caves and underground cities.

Lady Narebeth of Nelaeryn: youngest daughter to Lord of Nelaeryn, known by many as the "Lordess of Death", Lady Narebeth is among the closest advisors to Alsorin and a master at dark magic. Lady Narebeth is in charge of dark magic research and enhancement. Throughout the years, she had discovered several magical creatures and substances that can act as an arcane catalyst that enhances the effect of dark spells.
Lord Glorandal of Selanar: born in a lower-class family of Erinfrosche, Glorandal came to Alsorin's attention when he demonstrated considerable knowledge toward military tactics and up-keeping. Lord Glorandal is mostly responsible for the kingdom's military management and offensive/defensive affairs.
Lord Aranelis of Dakath: Aranelis is the third oldest son of Lord Chaewenys of Dakath, and the youngest of the four lords. Aranelis is an expert at espionage and assassination. Aranelis made his name known in the war against King Ilvisar. In the final push against King Ilvisar, Aranelis' spies gathered countless vital intels that ultimately lead to Ilvisar's demise. He serves as Alsorin's spymaster and assassin mentor
Lady Elenshaerie of Ilthuryn: only daughter to Lord Afamrail and the mastermind behind the black markets. Lady Elenshaerie overlooks the treasury and black markets in other kingdoms operated by Erinfrosche.

Personality: Just, selfless, and shrewd.
Strengths and skills: Extremely dextrous; very bookish and knowledgeable, one of the best warriors in the world (due to said dexterity and strength); and a major philosopher/scientist.
Magic Abilities: Can meld and shape the Bane (the life-force of the area around) to his own liking; this means that he can heal wounds and create heat/incinerate things with his power. Doing so, however, takes away a bit of his life-force as well.
Flaws and weaknesses: Can be suckered easily if you use his values against him. Has a slightly short temper.
Wealth and special possessions: Extremely wealthy. The de Gerona family didn't focus too much on their military except for basic defence and for maritime trade, thus they've amassed a huge amount of treasure and a huge merchant fleet to boot. Their most prized possessions are this world's Crown of Lombardy, a greatsword made out of unearthly meteoric rock, the lance that allegedly pierced a Saint's side when he was killed in battle, and the (in this timeline, already cut and found) Koh-i-Noor diamond, smuggled out of this world's India by a travelling priest and on the move ever since.
Biography: He was born Dirk Barents to the family of the Duke of [insert name of province #203]. However, the Duke was well known as a philanderer, and so a cabal of rebellious nobles and disgruntled lovers forced him to adopt primogeniture. Since the Duke had a large amount of illegitimate children (some sources say he fathered up to 43 children, although this hasn't been confirmed), he needed to whisk some of the legitimate heirs away to prevent court politics and vendettas from destroying his line. One of the children was Carles. When his parents fled across the sea to [province #39], they were brought in and their son was raised as a Carinthian. He was even adopted by the ruling family, who had no sons; therefore he holds the crown of [province #39]. Having ascended the throne at the tender age of 16, he's overcome most of his problems ruling; he's less of a pushover and can hold his own in an argument. However, he's still a bit of a child on the inside; some days for him there's nothing more to life than sitting on the banks of the creek running by his palace and enjoying the sun and the stillness of the place.
Closest family and friends: (Names, age, relation, single-sentence summary) Dirk Barents, 6th Duke of Aetoria, father (ailing)- Anneliese d' Artagnan, Countess of Teruel, mother (getting older)- his other siblings, truly by blood or not. Foreign policies/agendas: Make friends with whoever is willing to aid and abet Carinthian policy (more like a 'scratch my back and I'll scratch yours' arrangement). Maintain trade secrets and keep the balancing act between the more religious segments of society and Carinthia's 'infidel' trade contacts going.
Trade (Imports/exports/policies): Anything and everything; the region is well known for its grain and olive exports, and its rare, expensive silk/porcelain manufactories (the only ones of their kind outside of this world's China). They're also one of the few contacts between the the northern and southern parts of the world, and as such get rare and amazing luxuries (such as sugar and ivory and teak) that float the Northern trading economy. The Principality also is the main node for Northern (i.e. Oppermenian) products and money going the other way; thus, one could say that the Principality's wealth and power and high standard of living was made on the backs of all of the North. All this trade and the secrets of baneforging/other distinctly Carinthian processes are carefully guarded to the point where no person has ever stolen a trade secret and made them and their secret back to their home country alive. As a side note, the Principality has a history of financing explorers and merchant caravans... which could lead to the discovery of something on the other side of the world *hint hint*.
History: A whole lot of Austria-style marriages and political alliances resulted in the creation of this centrally-located superpower; the nation has its eyes trained on conquering the entire Korilandine Empire and the plains near province 313 from competing rival kingdoms. Due to the current ruler's roots, the country's about to gain the rich wool-weaving and banking centers of province 67, either by inheritance or brute force.

Appearance: Silky brown hair, hard grey eyes, and a pair of imposing brunette sideburns. Caucasian, brawny, and very healthy-looking. Has a large scar on the right side of his face running from his forehead to his jawbone.
Personality: Opportunistic, honor-bound, and extremely protective of those he protects.
Strengths and skills: Extremely strong; is one of the best horsemen of this era; and is extremely adept with the sabre, the lance, and the war-axe. Has a huge amount of stamina and can survive in the wilderness with a few basic implements for a very long time. Extremely resourceful and crafty in the face of adversity. Considered to be one of this continent's greatest strategists, and always has a cool head.
Magic Abilities: Can summon the Bane to wreathe his weapon in godlike power. The bands that he wears on his wrists and on his forehead endow him with the same power. It doesn't take away his life-force, but his power is more subdued and less lengthy compared to the Prince of Carinthia's abilities.
Flaws and weaknesses: He is often left weakened after he activates his Bane-bands, which makes him vulnerable in battle for a short while. He also has a bit of fondness for looting and plunder, and will often put himself in grave danger to further his aims.
Wealth and special possessions: Not too much. Most loot and treasure collected from his campaigns goes to the nation's and regiments' war chest for everybody's well being. He does have an exquisite bane-forged Raznakovan sabre from home, a full harness of knightly plate armor, twelve warhorses, 30 retainers, 50 servants, and a large collection of valuable books and treatises on a variety of subjects. He used most of his wealth to expand and arm his regiments and naval syndicates, and is redirecting an entire river to province 301.
Biography: The Colonel was born to a small family of well-off independent Raznakovan nobles in province 339. Not much is known about his early childhood, but we do know that when he was 14 (just as his military conditioning and tutoring came to an end), the armies of Tsar Vladimir came over the horizon and put the region to the sword. He cut his teeth fighting the bandits who robbed his tenants' lands, and was pressed into service defending his family's citadel in province 339's natural harbor. When it became evident that the citadel would be overrun by the Tsar's peasant levies, Pyotr boarded a Carinthian galley in the dead of night with his few worldly possessions, his loyal retainers, and 300 slaves. The slaves were sold in the nearest Kharqorin port, and the boy used the cash to purchase himself a plot of land in province 363. In the next five years, he'd expand his retinue to a solid 1,300 men (which he would designate as the 22nd Cossack Regiment), operate a fleet of 35 mercenary galleys, run a monopolistic trading syndicate out of his ports in conjunction with Carinthia, and occupy provinces 364-366. Eventually, as he approached 20, he started introducing new farming and manufacturing techniques to his realm, giving the region a much-needed boost in trade and financial stability. Ten years of that led to a massive budget reserve in excess of 10,000 gold aurens, a massive expansion of the fleet and military, and large-scale immigration and building projects. Now, as Pyotr nears 35, he needs to get his revenge on the Tsar for destroying his family and ruining his childhood. He most certainly hasn't forgotten, and with a force of almost 30,000 highly motivated, equipped, and trained men, 73 warships, a large, loyal populace, a gigantic war chest, and a stranglehold on all trade between all coastal provinces between 294-369, he most definitely means to do so.
Realm: He runs provinces 363-366, and his land base (which is heavily fortified and rather fertile) is in province 301. His administrative capital is in the city of Brest, in province 363. He has a trade outpost in province 263.
Powerful vassals: The Frontier March of Tambov (in province 301), the Hetmanate of Kazach (provinces 365-366), the Stewardship of Qualluit(in province 263), and a few others.
Liege-lord: Whoever pays the most. Despite the Colonel's well-off position and his well-maintained demesne, he and his men are effectively the Swiss mercenaries of the era. Currently affiliated with the Carinthian and Kharqorin realms.

Foreign policies/agendas: Simple. Maintain the Colonel's military as it is; extend his monopoly on trade on the Eastern Seabord south; outshine Carinthia and become the world leader in something, for once; and destroy South Raznakova and put the Tsar and his family to the sword. (Yeah, he really hates them.)
Trade (Imports/exports/policies): Mostly northern products (such as furs and sweet syrups). The fisheries off the coast of the Western Raznakovans' territories mean that dried, smoked, and salted fish are often traded in Brest and around the region. Cereals such as barley and wheat are common; the nation enjoys huge yields every year, and as such conducts a huge amount of trade in grain with the nations near it. Animal husbandry is also common; many prize chickens and livestock are bred in the nation and sent overseas to the highest bidder. Glasswork, building materials, iron ore, cloth/dyes, and fuel are a few major imports; most of them come from Carinthia or the Kharqorins.
History: Heavily intertwined with Pyotr's story.

I am basically doing this as a placeholder for tonight but will work on it tomorrow afternoon. I intend on it being a nation descended from refugees of a former empire destroyed by the roleplays premier empire sometime far in the past. Recently disunified into dozens of city-states, petty kingdoms, nomadic clans, tribes, and states until a conqueror brought them together by marriage, force, or diplomacy. That said they are all within the same cultural group even if different cultural outlooks have become common because of centuries of seperation.

Magic Abilities: Can meld and shape the Bane (the life-force of the area around) to his own liking; this means that he can heal wounds and create heat/incinerate things with his power. Doing so, however, takes away a bit of his life-force as well.
Flaws and weaknesses: Can be suckered easily if you use his values against him. Has a slightly short temper.
Wealth and special possessions: Extremely wealthy. The de Gerona family didn't focus too much on their military except for basic defence and for maritime trade, thus they've amassed a huge amount of treasure and a huge merchant fleet to boot. Their most prized possessions are the Crown of Lombardy, a greatsword made out of unearthly meteoric rock, the lance that allegedly pierced Jesus' side when he was crucified, and the (in this timeline, already cut and found) Koh-i-Noor diamond, smuggled out of India by a travelling Brahmin priest and on the move ever since.
Biography: He was born Dirk Barents to the family of the Duke of Flanders. However, the Duke was well known as a philanderer, and so a cabal of rebellious nobles and disgruntled lovers forced him to adopt primogeniture. Since the Duke had a large amount of illegitimate children (some sources say he fathered up to 43 children, although this hasn't been confirmed), he needed to whisk some of the legitimate heirs away to prevent court politics and vendettas from destroying his line. One of the children was Carles. When his parents fled across the Pyrenees to Catalonia, they were brought in and their son was raised as a Catalan. He was even adopted by the ruling family, who had no sons; therefore he holds the crown of Aragon, Catalonia, and a very strong claim to the Low Countries. Having ascended the throne at the tender age of 16, he's overcome most of his problems ruling; he's less of a pushover and can hold his own in an argument. However, he's still a bit of a child on the inside; some days for him there's nothing more to life than sitting on the banks of the creek running by his palace and enjoying the sun and the stillness of the place.

Trade (Imports/exports/policies): Anything and everything; the region is well known for its grain and olive exports, and its rare, expensive silk/porcelain manufactories (the only ones of their kind outside of China). They're also one of the few contacts between Christian Europe and Muslim North Africa/Asia, and as such get rare and amazing luxuries (such as sugar and ivory and teak) that float the European trading economy. The Principality also is the main node for European products and money going the other way; thus, one could say that the Principality's wealth and power and high standard of living was made on the backs of Europe's workers. All this trade and the secrets of baneforging/other distinctly Catalan processes are carefully guarded to the point where no person has ever stolen a trade secret and made them and their secret back to their home country alive.
History: A whole lot of Austria-style marriages and political alliances resulted in the creation of this Iberian superpower; the nation has its eyes trained on reconquering the entire Iberian peninsula from the Moors and competing rival kingdoms. Due to the current ruler's roots, the country's about to gain the rich wool-weaving and banking centers of the Low Countries, either by inheritance or brute force.

Character Name: Hostamir Inziladun.
Race/Ethnic Group: Human - Arquori.
Gender: Male.
Age: 34.
Appearance: Standing tall despite his injuries, Inziladun cuts a rather imposing figure with his broad shoulders and well built, albiet crippled form. He is brown haired and there is something stoic about his face just as there is a real sense of sobriety in his brow and calculating hawk-like blue eyes that seem to miss no details. His body carries the marks of the magical experiment gone wrong that crippled him and he has scar-tissue from the burns on his face, chest and right arm. Image
Personality: Calm and dignified. He usually also speaks in a calm, collected tone of voice granting him a certain air of wisdom and amiability.
Strengths and skills: Statecraft and stewardship, he is a skilled politician, a well-educated arcanist, good strategist and a strong sorcerer.
Magic Abilities: Hostamir Inziladun is a powerful mage, specializing in two Schools. That of Destruction, containing aggressive, destructive, and vigorous spells that harm both living and unliving things. Spells range from simple but effective fiery blasts and flame-balls to force-pushes and hurling ice shards. Another School he knows well is that of Shadows, also known as Illusionism or Phantasmancy, it is the lore of illusion, confusion, concealment and shadowy death.
Flaws and weaknesses: Walks with a limp, finds it very hard, basically impossible to ride a horse, cannot use his right arm normally for extended periods of time. His physical damage makes him a next to worthless fighter in physical combat as he can neither move fast nor strike hard after receiving his injuries.
Wealth and special possessions: As can be expected of a ruler as abundantly titled as the Sun-King of Arquilanth, he is rich to say the least, personally owning large estates and several palaces and castles. He also own's a number of magical items, some passed down through House Inziladun and some belonging to the authority of the Sun-King. These are the Deadlight, a magical warblade of ancient and unknown origin first wielded by King Mehennir of House Vosgar who united the Arquori realms, it is still wickedly sharp and imbued with fiery magic. He wears the Silvercrown, the crown of silver and white gold forged by the first Sun Monarch of House Inziladun, the legendary Sun-Queen Yrlissa. It was imbued with magic by the Sun-Queen herself so that "she would always be there to protect her descendants." It grants the wearer increased resistance to poisons and magical attacks.
Biography: The firstborn of Sun-King Arathor the Great Inziladun, Prince Hostamir was raised by his father to make sure his work continued after he was gone. He was given the very best tutors a Sun-King's wealth could buy and was schooled in geography, history, mathematics, stewardship, theology, philosophy, arcana and courtly graces. He did not grow up to be a warrior but a statesman and mage wise beyond his years. He is leading the Sun-Kingdom from the back instead of from the front like some monarchs prefer to do. This, however, does not mean he cares little for his Sun-Kingdom. Indeed, this simply reflects the personality of the man, as Hostamir is a stern yet caring ruler whose drive is to simply improve the power of his realm against those that might seek to topple it. He has ruled the realm for a decade, focusing his efforts inward, expanding cropland, improving infrastructure, raising castles, strengthening the military and keeping the notoriously feuding Arquori nobility under control with his keen sense for political intrigue. He exposed an early plot against his reign and crushed it, quickly solidifying his position, and then solidifying it further by having all of his dead former political enemies disinterred and using their gravestones to pave his ballroom during a grand ball in the Luminous Palace. His mind and tongue are as sharp as a blade he is not afraid of cutting his foes down with these blades if the need arises. He married Princess-Consort Ellyn of House Varuvardun at age 22 and has four children with her. He has a keen interest in all things arcane, which has turned him into a powerful mage but also a scarred and damaged man after a magical experiment went wrong and a spell "backfired." And so the rule of Hostamir III of House Inziladun, Sun-King of Arquilanth, King of Arquitence, King of Arquoghast, Senior Protector of Aroden, Duke of Ellander and Duke of Riverdale goes on. And many wonder if he will keep his inward focus, or if he will try to expand the influence and borders of the Sun-Kingdom. Only time will tell.
Closest family and friends: Princess-Consort Ellyn Varuvardun/35/Wife. Princess-Consort Ellyn is of the House of Varuvardun, the most powerful family in eastern Arquilanth, called Arquoghast. In this you can see the reason that the two were married. It began as a purely political match made by former Sun-King Arathor to bind House Varuvardun closer to the throne by marrying the Crown Prince to Lady Ellyn. While it began as a political match, the pair eventually, while not loving each other, grew to have a mostly warm and good relationship.
Crown Princess Lialora Inziladun/8/Daughter. The heir to the Sun-Kingdom, Lialora is already being tutored by expensive tutors and mentored by her father in his hopes to turn her into a capable ruler after his own mold.
Prince Dynynir Inziladun/6/Son. Second in line to the throne, his father sees the path of knighthood in his sons future, perhaps even the path of the paladin?
Princess Felixis Inziladun/4/Daughter. Third child of the royal couple, twin-sister of Ryrnessa.
Princess Ryrnessa Inziladun/4/Daughter. Fourth child of the royal couple, twin-sister of Felixis.
Prince Frynlay Inziladun/63/Uncle. The former Sun-King's younger brother, Frynlay, being the fourth son of King Erdamir the Ancient there was no real plan for him so he had to make his own place in the world, this mostly came to travelling the continent with a band of mercenaries composed of other fourth sons, fifth sons and similar detritus of the Arquori nobility, until his brother Harlan called his brother back to the Kingdom. He had served as an advisor to his brother Sun-King Arathor and now does the same for his nephew.

Power rests largely in the ruling monarch and descends from the throne. Beneath the monarch is an aristocratic hierarchy of landed nobles whose commoner subjects owe their fealty to in exchange for protection and support in times of war, famine and other things while the Lord raises taxes from the commoners living in his demesne. In exchange for their lands and titles the nobles are obliged to uphold the realm's laws in their demesne, raise troops and march to war alongside the Sun-King/Sun-Queen in times of war and to pay a portion of the taxes they raise from their lands further to the crown. A budding bureaucracy made up of lower nobility and clergy aid the monarch in the administration of the realm.

There are some secret rings of Aemanites among the Krumr just as there as some hidden worshipers of the Aethyr Pantheon among the elves and Rothghar among the Orcs.
