Personality: Cheerful, nice, and charitable

Bio: Pyrrha Arkos was born to a retired mercenary in a small village called Nikolvia. From the age of six, she begged her father to train her to fight. He gladly obliged, and taught her how to fight with a sword, spear, and shield. When she was seven, she and her father were in the woods practicing when they heard screams from the village. Grabbing their weapons, they rushed to the village, only to find a bandit tribe had attacked it, killing the few guards the village actually had. Pyrrha's father rushed to their home, only to find it burned down. He wasted no time packing their things and heading out to once again, become a mercenary. Pyrrha joined her father on most of his missions, learning from practice and experience how to fight. But what she really loved was he father's spear, a gold and red one that was extremely powerful. She yearned to have that spear, until one day she gained it in the worst way possible. While on a mission when she was eighteen, her father was ambushed and killed. Filled with rage, she ran faster than she ever could and was soon right behind the bandit who had killed her father. Picking up his spear, she impaled the bandit, and turned to fight the other one, only to see him running for his life. Still filled with rage, she jumped and landed in front of him, swinging her spear on the way down, killing him on impact. After her rage was finished, she was terrified with her powers, until she realized she could join up with the Seekers and help people. She joined at the age of eighteen and has been with them for about one year.

Skills: Great at using a spear, sword, and shield. Athletic.
Flaws/Fears/Shortcomings: She is terrified of killing or injuring an innocent, making her hesitate if an action or order might harm an innocent. She holds a deep resentment for bandits and criminals, meaning she might not think straight when approached by one, even if they are an informant.

Personality: To those who do not know him, he takes on the role of a devout follower of the Gods. He remains a stoic figure, drapped in cloth letting his stature and warhammer keep the majority of people away, and rarely attempts to actively engage in random conversation. However, to the "Inner Circle", Charkan is loud, free spirited, and a fiercely loyal companion. Though he has a short temper and a tendency to lose his filter.

Bio: Charkan Chukarkan is a Battle Priest, raised by the Távros Monks in the mountains of the Minotaur controlled Ateleíotes Desert. The Távros monks maintain one of the only permanent Minotaur settlements in the world, the others being either other small religious compounds or militaristic institutions serving as outposts. Minotaur culture and folk-lore states that their nomadic culture stems from long ago, when the "Bull-Warrior" Távros stole the map to paradise. The gods cursed him, transforming him and his followers into the first Minotaur, and banished them to wander the sundered remains of their kingdom until they could make their way to Paradise. Growing up in the Faith, Charkan is a renowned Battle Priest of the order, and in particular serves Heth and Magnus. He serves to preserve Minotaur history, and to battle the enemies of his people through his magical talents and physical prowess. Currently, Charkan has left the Minotaur Nomadic Kingdom to join the Seekers, with the goal of finding the Ancient Map to Paradise once more, and leading his people to their new homeland.
Skills: Charismatic Leader, Extreme Minotaur Strength, learned in the symbol and word tribal magics.
Flaws/Fears/Shortcomings: Not particularly fast, minotaurs are extremely rare outside of their homeland so are viewed with distrust by other races

well, there is only one pantheon (two if you count the divide between 'good' and 'evil') of gods (I'm still adding the evil ones) and the only 'divine magic' belongs to the followers of Rhodin, its not something you can just learn.

As for being a Minotaur... I think I can allow that.

Bio: Aron was left with an old warrior in the small village of Northfell when he was a baby. When he was five, he fell into a well when some local children pushed him into one. When he was found by the old warrior, he was sharpening a sharp stick and told him that he was going to fight the children. The old warrior smiled and said that he would teach Aron how to fight, and for the next seven years of Aron's life, he did. But when he was fifteen, tragedy struck. He had been training with the old man when fighting was heard in the village, and being members of Northfell's small militia, they rushed to the center of the village, only to see the captain of the militia be struck down by a cavalryman. A group of wandering mercenaries hadn't had a job in a while, so they were raiding Northfell. The old warrior immediately rushed against the mercenaries, striking down a spear man before being surrounded and killed. In a rage, Aron charged the cavalryman, only to be struck with a mace and knocked unconscious. When he awoke, Northfell was in flames, and the mercenaries were gone. He went over to the old man, picked up his sword and shield and began wandering the road in search of a town. Before nightfall, he found a small town called Nidra and rented a room in the local inn. When he awoke the next morning, he offered to act as a guard for the innkeeper in exchange for food and a bed. The innkeeper agreed to these terms and for the next seven years Aron, now known as Aron of Northfell, acted as a guard for the inn, breaking up fights, killing the occasional bandit, and becoming more and more distant by the day. Eventually he heard about the promise of coin for helping the Seekers on their quests, and decided to train for four years with the local guardsmen before joining up with the Seekers. He has only been with them for two months, and is not very friendly with his fellow Seekers.

Skills: Good swordsman and shield man.
Flaws/Fears/Shortcomings: He has trouble connecting with people, making people tend to dislike him.

Personality: Farryn is an cocky, egotistical, sharp tongued, sarcastic she-elf that enjoys toying with others and pushing their buttons. Though being relatively young for her species of elf, she hasn’t fully matured yet and often dishes out more than she can handle, making her easy to draw into challenges and often caught off guard by more direct comments and attitudes. Her nature however, constantly brings her towards helping and protecting others. While just about always accompanied with the odd jabbing comment or insult, she does whatever she can to assist those around her.

Bio:
Farryn never knew her parents, instead her earliest memories are from a poor orphanage in a crowded human city but while she grew up hungry, she didn’t grow up alone, instead she had dozens of brothers and sisters to stay by her side. As time passed on though, she discovered how slowly she grew compared to everyone around her and while she adapted, learning to run faster and jump higher to keep up, being the only pure elf eventually left her alone as those around her steadily moved on. By the time she was 20 Farryn finally followed suit, while barely more than an infant to her own race, she left into the human city to make her own path.

There she stayed for nearly 20 more years living hand-to-mouth and taking coin where she could, as she learned how to navigate the busy streets and take what she needed. As time wore on her skills began to grow until finally, her aptitude for magic started to show. From the moment she was able, she moved to the temple of Rhodin to learn and practice the ways of light and in truth, earn a free meal ticket while she tested the waters. For a while though, she was contempt with filling her days with nothing but books and spells as she learned and practiced the arts but as the years passed by, her impatient and adventurous nature slowly grew until finally it drove her away with her leaving in the dead of night, in search of her calling.

From there, she traveled for decades, always learning new crafts and magic as she went. She discovered Magnus’ fires from time spent in the mountains with dwarves, she studied Heth's wisdome as she passed colleges and scholars on her travels, she found Krall's fury as she battled with orc tribes and felt the presence of Aeon in times of tranquillity but after nearly a century of travel, she found her people and discovered ‘her’ own god, Terran. Encountering other elves was a strange experience for Farryn. While she had met the odd one on her travels, she had never seen their towns until she started following the stories and legends deep into the forests of the world. Unlike other cities, they were made in perfect harmony with nature and their inhabitants lived satisfied and patient, knowing they could outlive most problems in the world around them. What they did, they did carefully and meticulously but always with respect. In many ways, it was suffocating for the impulsive Farryn, but determined to find answers and herself, she chose to settle and study.

She learned how elves hunt, how Terran provided for them and how the elves ultimately lived in peace with their world. For a while she was satisfied among her kind but the longer she stayed with her people, a deep unease and uncertainty began to grow in her. She worried about those she had met and traveled with, she worried about the peoples and cultures she had seen and the world beyond the trees. When she mentioned her concerns to the others they brushed it off as childish delusions but Farryn knew better. After a few more decades of preparation and study, she grabbed her things and left once more, she didn’t know how her people reacted or if they even noticed her departure but somewhere deep down, she knew she couldn’t have stayed.

Alone once more and unsure of her future, Farryn was once again back on her path but now with a new conviction. She wanted to do something with herself, not spend an eternity in a forest or cave waiting for life to pass by, but move out into its path and go with its erratic passage as she pleased. In the end, there was really only one option and she set off to meet the seekers.


Skills:
-Jack of all magic trades…: Due to her unique path. Farryn has dabbled in several different types of magic and domains. The result is a good understanding of the inner workings of magic and the ability to use, learn and even intertwine most spells.
-Mage Archer: Farryn is an archer by trade but does not carry arrows. Instead she summons and shapes different magical forces to bluntly launch at her foes. While not as strong as pure or refined magical attacks and spells, she can fire them off rapidly and with deadly accuracy.
-Acrobat: After years of travel and practice, Farryn has learned to carry herself lightly and swiftly in order to avoid danger and reach spots she was never intended to.
-Hunter: While on her travels Farryn usually provided for herself. From her times hunting in different parts of the world she has learned to hone her senses and be patient as she waits and prepares for prey to come to her.

Flaws/Fears/Shortcomings:
-…master of none: While she has learned much, without the patience to properly master any field Farryn cannot call upon any strong spells without significant preparation. As a result she relies on the use of only basic spells in every-day life and battle. While this can be effective on the fly and suits her fast-attack fighting style, it effectively caps her ability to attack and defend especially in larger scale battles.
-Weak: Without her speed and magic to keep her safe, Farryn is relatively weak. If caught by surprise, grabbed or put in any situation requiring muscle, she wouldn’t get far without help
-Emotional: While she enjoys her sarcasm and wit, Farryn is a deeply flawed Elf in that she is quick to trust and incredibly protective of anyone she deems as ‘good’. Although she tries her best to hide her caring nature, it often comes out in danger with her breaking formations and positions to save the odd short-lived human she may have simply shared a drink with.[/list]

Obviously, I'm not the OP, so you don't have to listen to me, but I would suggest a nerf to the tiering. Also, I know that Cyberiad likes people splitting their magical and physical tiering so he knows which is better.

Righto, so here’s what we have:
All the world’s languages come from the Irran Language family, the mother tongue being High Irrisc(Pronounced Ih-rih-sh), which Tasuirin and I created together
High Irrisc, Language of Magic and Mother to All Tongues of Yigros
Next, we currently have two branches within the Irrisc language family, my Searise languages(Represented in our rp by Common Searise, the aptly named common language amongst the Searsia, which are basically just merfolk), and Tasuirin’s Lizardic Family(Represented by Proto-Lizardic)

We considered it, but then we went with Irran being the adjective for something “of an Irra” and made Irrisc the name for the language, as it sounded more “Germanic”.

Irran and Irrisc share the same root, but they aren’t the same. English tends to have them be the same, but not all languages do. Like in Norwegian, the adjective for a Norwegian Nordisk, while the word for the language is Norsk.

Creating a barrier would be 9B (Wall), and as for healing, I don't know. Some other people in the RP have a better idea of magical tiering.

Fraesea is conventionally beautiful by human standards, having a pretty face and well-proportioned body, with some notable Searsia traits. Her ‘hair’ is composed of prehensile teal tentacles, with Ddaorneg traits of stingers and bioluminescent bulbs at the end. Her eyes are larger than the average Trieau, and, although far smaller than Ddaor eyes, do retain their bioluminescence, albeit with the blue bacteria of the bulbs rather than Ddaorneg red. Her neck has gills, which are slightly external, although only barely visible from a distance. Her arms are no different than the average Searsia, but her right arm is tattooed with a rune which facilitates hydrokinetic incantations. Her body, meanwhile is far more Trieau than Ddaor, being curvaceous and healthy-looking rather than skeletal and thin, although her ghostly pale skin betrays her Ddaor heritage. Her legs are inhumanly smooth and hairless, with a bright sheen. However, in her natural form, she does not have legs, but instead a sharklike tail with large lobed pelvic fins like the average Trieau, although the Ddaor heritage elongates it, making her tail resemble a frilled shark’s with the pelvic fins of a coelacanth.

Personality: Fraesea, although in truth mild-mannered and intelligent, enjoys playing the part of a megalomaniac. Her demeanour based on the situation can go from calm and collected to comically dramatic gestures based on the surrounding mood. She takes great joy in conversation, and is generally positive, save for occasional outbursts that she uses more for humour or emphasis than serious negativity. In spite of all these positive traits, her penchant for dramatic show can be grating on some, and her attempts to look at the best side in bad situations can fail either by intentionally blinding her to some dangers, or failing outright.

Bio: Fraesea has, thus far, has lived in very interesting circumstances. Her mother was standard enough, being one of the well-known albeit mundane Trieau subspecies of Searsia. Her father, meanwhile, was a member of the elusive Ddaor subspecies. Their story was a classic one of forbidden love, not out of any rule, but because of water pressure. The Ddaor, being creatures of the deep, could not stray too close to the surface without gaining symptoms known by humans as “The Bends” while Trieau, being accustomed to shallow water, can’t handle the immense pressures of the dark depths of the sea.

From this stubborn love was born Fraesea, a compromise between the two worlds. She grew up among her mother’s family more than her father’s, as her mother was reluctant to let her stray into the pressure and darkness of the deep. In spite of this, she eventually began to stray deeper, and began splitting her time between her father and her mother. In her mother’s world, she received a conventional surface Searsia education, while in her father’s, she began to learn about the world of magic. This continued through her adolescent years, as she nursed her abilities.

When she was 19, she set out to explore the seas, in a way very much unlike most of her kind. Her jaunt around the local seas bored her after a year or so, and so, she further strayed from her heritage in making inlets into fresh water. Soon, she came into first-hand contact with the people of the land, as she witnessed a bustling human harbour. This harbour was Wrusea. Fraesea passively observed for a time, and took in the fascinatingly different world of humans.

Being a fairly skilled mage, well versed in a certain area of magic, Fraesea finally resolved to go onto land, and live among humans for a time. Using “Vikinspaak Saa Aliettiaesaoa” and a carefully drawn rune, she gave herself legs. Of course, a naked maiden appearing on the beach raised its own questions. When she explained herself to a curious soul, he knew exactly what to do. Sure enough, Brol directed Fraesea exactly where she needed to go, and, in a moment of goodwill, granted her access to the lost and found so she might clothe herself properly, allowing her one set of clothes, and a spare shirt and pair of trousers, although it is yet unclear whether this was a gift or a loan.

Skills: Fraesea is a skilled mage with an immense capacity for learning, and has a unique charm of sorts about her. In addition, she is truly fluent in the magical language, having been raised with it as a common tongue. Although no savant, she is able to draw well enough to assemble most runes if she knows how to draw them.
Flaws/Fears/Shortcomings: Although Fraesea’s aquatic heritage provides strong lower body muscles, her upper body strength is seriously lacking for the same reason. Further, due to her youth, she lacks some of the same emotional development and wisdom of older members of the Seekers.

Searsianeg

The searsia(Sciera) are the only aquatic intelligent species on Yigros. They generally possess a humanoid head and torso, and a piscine tail in place of legs. Like the fish they share the sea with, they hold a reasonable degree of biodiversity, much more than compared to humans, although they are still able to interbreed, thus not warranting separate genera. The searsia are thus divided into a number of subspecies based on primary habitat and appearance.

Perhaps the most socially advanced subspecies of the searsia, the Trieau(Sciera an scetra) generally live in small villages of 8 to 60 individuals in or around kelp forests, engaging in a form of farming by protecting and maintaining the environment in exchange for collecting the fruits of the ecosystem.

Physically, they have pale skin with a greenish tint, and internal gills. Their “hair” comes in green and blue hues, and consists of a number of prehensile tentacles which resemble kelp fronds when limp in the water. Their lower halves are long, thin, and sharklike, except their pelvic fins are large and lobed to help anchor their bodies in place on the seabed or among the kelp.

The Ielua(Sciera an luesctoen) are the most commonly depicted of the searsia, with their bright colours and theatric demeanours captivating many a storyteller. Among the abundant food supply of coral reefs, Ielua social structures are largely tribal, and scavenge for food and colourful shells, which they use to decorate the burrows they dig to live in, as well as to disguise traps to catch additional food. Certain groups of Ielua living in less abundant environments, known as Sirens, have adapted to live as ambush predators, making use of their strong vocal facilities to lure sailors in to supplement their diets.

Physically, Ielua have pleasant humanoid faces, and humanoid torsos, with a wide range of complexions. Young Ielua have large feathery external gills, by adulthood generally shedding the external gills in favour of internal gills. Their hair comes in a wide variety of colours, as well as textures. Ielua likewise have tails which come in a variety of colours and styles, ranging from resembling clownfish to eel tails. In spite of this diversity in appearance, as the Ielua share the same habitat and general mannerisms, they are classified together.

The Ddaor(Sciera an Ddoerx) have a name that literally translates to “Dark” for good reason. They are perhaps the only intelligent species to live in an environment not at all dependant on Hyla, the sun of Yigros. They exist in very small family units, and often spend their entire lives closely around the hydrothermal vents where they farm tube worms and other deep sea organisms for sustenance. Thanks to the heat and pressure of their environments, certain clans of magically inclined Ddaor produce swords of unrivalled strength for those who can send enough land delicacies down to their homes, and retrieve the due reward. Although the adore land delicacies, these creatures of the deep will not hesitate to devour anything that descends to their murky depths. Unlike other Searsia, Ddaorneg do not speak Searise, but instead primarily speak Irrisc, the ancient language of their ancestors.

While rarely witnessed alive, the Ddaor possess large eyes filled with red bioluminescent bacteria which occupy much of their faces, making their heads resemble those of demonic chibi anime characters. Their bizarre childlike faces are accompanied by external gills which remain into their adult lives. The remainder of their body is thin and skeletal, with long, bony fingers and visible ribs, with a flexible stomach that can fill to many times its size when necessary, like many other deep-sea creatures. Their skin is often ghostly white, translucent, or even transparent, while their “hair” is pitch black with small blue bioluminescent bulbs at the end, resembling the tentacles of a jellyfish in structure and function. Tails of Ddoarneg may vary, but most resemble those of eels, hagfish, or coelacanths, with a special few clans having developed via magic to possess tentacles like cephalopods rather than tails like fish, although these clans are exceedingly rare and exist more commonly in folklore than in reality.
