(Just updated the application)

You have added the example of him losing his calmness, but haven't done the change.

The more details your application has, the better. Where there perhaps any complications that came as a result of his comments? Also, I'm quite sceptical of bipartisan support/support from a number of different political options in general. If you could add something about his relationship with the PM and the leader of the oppositon, that would be helpful. The latter should be quite easy, considering their shared background.

I’ve just done the changes now

I’ll write details regarding his relationship with the PM and Leader of the Opposition soon, can you accept me now though for the time being, I just wanna start RPing.

As much as I would like to do so, I can't considering your character's status as the "bridge" character between the two RPs.

I do not see any issues with the application, besides those I have already pointed out, so I would be willing to accept your app if there will be no issues with your upcoming changes.

I have edited Albert a little more, describing his opinion of Wyvern. I'd be glad to add more if requested.

Biography: Madeline K. Bryson was born to affluent parents in the City of London, Her Father George L. Bryson being a businessman who profited greatly from the economic boom of the 1950's. Throughout her childhood Madeline was known to be sharp and a bit snappy with her language, leading many to joke about a future career in the Commons, an idea that would become fully realized many years later. Her exceptional academic performance and a talent for language saw to it that she was able to study Comparative Politics at Oxford and graduate 1st class with Honors. Madeline later attended the University of Bordeaux in France and recived a Masters level degree in International Business.

Following her education, Madeline became employed with the UK's Foreign Office, where she rose through the ranks rather quickly following postings in Latvia, Romania, Sweden, and France. In 2002, as one of Britain's youngest Ambassadors, Madeline accepted the major responsibility of representing the United Kingdom's interests in Finland, a job in which she performed extremely well, with the exception of a well-known and publicised conflict with a Finnish translator.

In 2006, Madeline resigned her post in order to return to her partner's home constituency, where she would throw her hat into the ring for the city's council. Madeline won a surprise victory over a long time resident, and two years later, she was chosen by the council as Mayor, due to her ever increasing popularity among the citizenry for her fiery and populist nature. In 2010, she swept into her position as an MP by defeating Labour Candidate Michael McCaul in her constituency of Crawley, and was subsequently reelected in 2015 by an even wider margin. In 2015, Madeline was briefly considered as a potential Foreign Secretary by Prime Minister Wyvern, who ultimately decided on another less controversial pick.

During the Brexit Campaign, Madeline campaigned hard for Leave, and when the results came in she famously stated "The British People have spoken, and we will make sure their voice is carried straight to Brussels."

Through her years in the Commons, she has been a key part in several pieces of legislation, the largest of which was her instrumental role in the passage of Marriage Equality, the final draft of which she herself proposed before the lower house. She is supportive of Women in Combat and she is Pro-Choice, signing onto legislative efforts related to both. She has also put forward legislation requiring Immigrants to learn English and Strictly limiting the acceptance of refugees into Britain. She is supportive of Nuclear Energy Proposals.

Other Info: Was married on April 14th, 2016 to her long-time partner Ashley Rosseau in a private ceremony. They adopted an infant son in 2006 by the name of Peter, who currently attends public school within Madeline's Constituency. Staunch Monarchist. Anti-Scottish, Welsh, and Ulster independence. Leading Conservative Party Voice for LGBT and Women's Rights, Leading Conservative Party Voice Against the Islamisation of Europe and Britain. Former Member of the British Foreign Office. Polygot (Speaks English, Welsh, Finnish, Russian, and French).

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Vionna-Frankenlisch
Character Name: Albert Welles
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 37
Character Height: 6' 1"
Character Weight: 89kg
Character Position/Role/Job: Conservative MP for East Worthing and Shoreham
Appearance:

Character Constituency of Origin: Lewes
Character Constituency of Residence: East Worthing and Shoreham
Character Party Affiliation: Conservative
Main Strengths: Well respected and intelligent, a generally persuasive and sensible person if not outright charismatic.
Main Weaknesses: Often judged for his family connections rather than his personal merits. His loyalty to the monarchy makes him seem old-fashioned and can get him into trouble with republicans. Is generally a calm person but can really break down when he's angry. Sometimes seen as too centrist and too militaristic.
Biography:
Born on his family's estate near Lewes in 1980 to Archibald Welles, Marquess of Swanborough and Baron of Firle and Fulking. Albert was groomed for responsibility from a young age. He was educated by tutors until he was ten and then went off to a boarding school in Aberdeenshire. He was quickly recognised as a gifted if not exceptional student, particularly in the humanities and despite a particularly poor scientific education, he passed all of his exams. He studied History and Politics at Cambridge and left at 21 with a Bachelor degree.

His father wished for him to join the army in the tradition of his family and he trained as an infantry officer in 2001. Commissioned as a Captain in the First Battalion, the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, he saw action in the Invasion of Iraq, a conflict which left him with a rather critical view of America. He served up until 2008, earning the Military Cross for gallantry in the Battle of Basra where he led his company from the front in actions that led to the rescue of multiple sections of the Royal Irish Regiment. He returned from Iraq in 2007 and remained in the army for another year. He was honourably discharged in September 2008 and returned to Lewes to teach history.

He became a member of the Conservative Party in 2009 and stood as a candidate in a Brighton Pavilion by-election following the resignation of the former Labour MP there, a new Labour candidate won the election by a small margin over the Green Party, leaving Albert in third place. In the following year's General Election he took over from the former Conservative MP in East Worthing and Shoreham and won the seat. Since that point, he has been a relatively influential backbencher and especially vocal on matters concerning defence, foreign policy and education. He is a steadfast supporter of the NHS and state education but has various opinions for and against other parts of the welfare system. He has expressed an ambition to become the Secretary of State for Defence and has more than once declared an interest in returning to military life. Despite this, he is a generally respected backbench MP of the Conservative Party who enjoys good personal relations with his peers and is eager to rise further.

He is generally pro-Brexit but has a great deal of concerns over the negative possibilities of Brexit, despite publically endorsing it. A Wyvern loyalist although a wavering one, supports the PM for his aristocratic heratige and economic governance, however, Wyvern's defence cuts has earned him Welles' suspicions and its possible that Welles may turn on him.
Other Info: I don't think so.

I have read and accept the rules of the roleplay: Vionna-Frankenlisch

ACCEPTED

Also, note to all - there are very few Labour characters and more left leaning characters would be useful.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Alozia
Character Name: London Broadcasting Network (LBN)

Character Age: 20

Character Position/Role/Job: commercial multi-platform news network
Appearance: Logo coming soon.
Character Constituency of Origin: Newcastle upon Tyne Central
Character Constituency of Residence: Cities of London and Westminster
Character Party Affiliation: N/A
Main Strengths: popular among younger and more tech savy demographics,
Main Weaknesses: unpopular among older and more traditional demographics
Biography: The London Broadcasting Network is a London-based commercial multi-platform news network founded in 1997 as a private internet-based news website ACE in Newcastle.

In 1997 a two young IT students created a website dedicated to collecting news from other news sources. The project turned into a self functioning news source a couple months after when three communications and media students joined the team to officially create ACE. Since then the website started publishing articles written by their own "journalists" in their free time. In a three years time the project started enjoying some following, mostly coming from other students and people below 30. The website was noted for it's mix of progressive and libertarian views on current affairs. In 2002 the company under the name ACE was officially created and found it's way to it's first offical headquarters in a small office building.

The website grew over time, having employed 25 people at it's peak in 2008. The very same year the owners of the company were approached by a media mogul who bought the company and the website with it, investing large sums of money and greatly expanding the business, moving it to London. In 2009 ACE merged with a newly created TV station, officially becoming part of the upcoming London Broadcasting Network. Having a good number of ACE's journalists as part of it's cast LBN was initially known for it's left-wing bias. While the upper management wanted to maintain the station's innovativeness and youth appeal, they have slowly diversified it's line up, hiring more right leaning journalists with their own programmes. During the coverage of the 2015 General Election the LBN appeared more centrist and appealing to centre-right viewers.

Currently the station is trying to find newer faces after a couple of their high profile anchors left the LBN for better paying and more prestigious stations.

Other Info: While being a self-described news network LBN relies heavily on a diverse set of commentary talk programs.

Character Information Sheet

NS Nation Name: Tobiasia
Character Name: Sir Alexander Tigros
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 47
Character Height: 1.7m
Character Weight: 76kg
Character Position/Role/Job: British Ambassador to the United States of America
Appearance:
(Image)
Character Constituency of Origin: Lewes
Character Constituency of Residence: N/A, currently residing in Washington DC
Character Party Affiliation: officially none, tends to be more left-leaning
Main Strengths: respected, calm, intelligent presence, for example calling for peaceful and sensible dialogue during the 2012 political crisis as well as not letting his political views sway his judgement or work during his many years as ambassador.
Main Weaknesses: can be uncharismatic and occasionally undiplomatic, for example, he once stated in a leaked conversation with the Romanian Ambassador that the nationalist senator and MEP Corneliu Vadim Tudor was “a dimwitted racist”. The incident sparked controversy and threatened Tigros' position as ambassador, but following his public apology to Tudor, the situation was eventually resolved, though Tudor continued to push for Tigros' dismissal behind the scenes for several years. Tigros has since learned to keep his mouth shut on political issues.

Biography: Alexander Tigros was born in Brighton, Sussex, in 1970. He attended the University of Edinburgh and received a BA in history. After graduation, he entered the diplomatic service, before being posted to Cairo as First Secretary of the mission there in 1998. In 2003 he was appointed Ambassador to Romania. Tigros became highly thought of by the government in Bucharest, and was key in establishing strong British-Romanian relations, especially in regards to defense and trade, as well as Romania's accession to the EU. In 2014 he was appointed as the Ambassador to the United States of America, after many in the Coalition, especially Lib Dems, recognized his successful service to the crown.

Tigros has been seen by many in the diplomatic establishment as a logical voice of reason. He isn't as flashy or as charismatic as many ambassadors or figures in the foreign office, however his calmly principled manner has won him cross-party support in the UK. He has spent the last 2 years trying to maintain strong US-UK relations particularly focusing on trade and security. He has performed excellently in managing tricky diplomatic issues, and is a strong advocate of the 'special relationship'. In 2017 he was knighted in the New Year's Honours List. He lives in Washington DC with his wife Helena and two children Max and Jeremy.
Other Info: Tigros has good relations with both the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition, and is well trusted by the Foreign Office.
Tigros was initally appointed by the Labour government to Romania, and therefore has support among more centrist Labour figures. His character and diplomatic style won him the support of PM Wyvern, who had spent several years modernising the party before he replaced the current ambassador with Tigros. Tigros' main supporters are One Nation Conservatives and Blairites, as he is more inclined towards the centre, whilst those on the far left and far right want Tigros replaced with a ideologically supportive pawn, and some have suggested a figure outside the foreign office could be a better ambassador than Tigros. However, the centre have clung to him, and as long as Westminster holds out against the extremes, Tigros should remain safe in Washington.

ACCEPTED

First of all - thank you.

Second of all - did you create this account specifically for Westminster RP?

Third of all - I designed a logo for LBN.

Ah, mate. I don't suppose you could leave SoS for Defence to me? I had planned on having Albert go for the role in the power struggle with Wvern leaving.

I could do Foreign Secretary, but I am sort of a military guy.

Fine I will trust that you did not just lie to me, but the character cannot be autistic

Okay, good Conservative constituency and advice on age, and level of experience. (Some autism may come out, as I am actually autistic)
