I think it worked out ok. Auphelia, if you want a direct response, let me know and I can give Dr. Vasquez a remark for Eleanor. Otherwise, I think this is working out somewhat differently. And it's gearing everything around my schedule, which isn't quite the most helpful for this.

You try some things to see how they go. I think group therapy works in theory but is difficult in practice to carry out with writers from different time zones. That said, we'll get some more character interaction soon. I think that would help.

If your character wants to say something during group therapy, now's the time (and try not to ask Dr. Vasquez questions for right now). Otherwise, we'll get done and have some free time.

I got some interest in this. However, I reveal what character I have planned.
He will be a character with two main personalities, however it will be kept vague if he actually has one personality and is just faking the other.
His first personality of the "artist" is his more "good" side of himself, while the "actor" personality is shown to be more cunning and rather manipulative. He does have a mysterious power of producing an ink-like substance and a third destructive personality, however when he appears, he is already unable to be this personality, having lost the ability to do so or have forgotten how to use it.

RPs I do
- How do you do fellow kids? You want to see something violent? - Artemis: Deimos Trafficking League (Horror/Mature)
- Descend into the forgotten tourist traps of Florida on this transgressive RP! - The Community (Mature/Black Comedy/Slice-of-Life)

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

I'm in a bit of a bind, in that Nadir would probably be too awkward to initiate a conversation, so I'm having a hard time creating a realistic way to enter the story.

That does sound tough.

Maybe someone in the day room, putting a puzzle together intrigues him. Or the cover of a magazine, (if they let the patients read current magazines, Popular Science, People, Highlights....).

There is tv allowed - though, highly screened. The staff doesn't want anything that will send anyone over the edge. So nothing like R rated. Maybe something PG-13 rated, but that's iffy. The weather channel. ESPN. Disney. That's probably it. They shy away from channels that show movie favorites because those often have things they fear might upset the patients.

Otherwise, I know I am willing, and I know others are also willing to do co-writes with you Utc. if that would help.

And for those who are here on OOC but not on Discord, let me say I used to be one of you. I thought it was useless and unnecessary. However, there's a lot of behind-the-scenes discussion going on there, as well as the start of co-write channels, that make it worth it. It's like learning anything else - it does take a little doing, but it comes pretty easily the more you do.

Right now on Discord, we have a new thread up called "Conspiracy Theories" - What do you think is happening at this psychiatric institution? So far, lots of good discussion!

Howdy! Y'all still accepting? I've been looking for an RP to get in to ever since I got back from my extended break away from NS, and this honestly looks pretty awesome and promising.
Asked, because it seems as if y'all are already somewhat far in.

We are definitely still open. And while we're somewhat in, it's not that far yet. A mystery like this has lots of clues...

Because this is a week where many NS players have exams, good luck to all of you on them. And encouraging you all to pool ideas in the conspiracy theories. It would help to list clues - that have been given - or what you think are clues.

Questions to answer:
1) Why are the characters not remembering?
2) What happened in the R&D lab that caused it to incinerate?
3) Whose red hair is that?
4) Is the hospital truly trying to heal the characters? If so, what are they doing? If not, why not?

There are others, but that's a good place for starters.

Will try to post in the IC, but unsure of what to post about. I have also started handling my own roleplay, and working as a co-op for someone else so I will try my best to keep up with this one.

Thanks, Benuty. It's slowed down some, but it's still going.

Auphelia will soon be posting some interesting OP-discussed secrets. Hope that encourages more posting. And as always, if anyone is stuck or can't figure out what to do, I'm always willing to make suggestions.

Down for additional applications?
I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.

Well. It helps if you realize that what you're reading is a clue. Agatha Christie did that (not that I am on her level at all). I remember one of her books where the detective was on a plane where a murder happened mid-air, but no one was around the person when it happened. One of the things the detective did was have a search of all the possessions in the overhead bags. And so, Agatha Christie listed all the contents of all the bags, and the clue was there. You just had to know what to look for - and of course, no one knew. It was only later at the end that the specific item that the detective was looking for was revealed, and why. And it made sense. It just didn't at the time.

If I can learn about how to be in charge of a mystery, I want to learn from the best. When we get to the end, you'll understand.

And just so everyone knows, I'm planning a TIME SKIP to the next morning, breakfast time, for my next post. I'll have that out either tonight or tomorrow.

First Name: Melody Harding
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Height, Weight, Build: 6", 50 kg,

Personality:
She didn't deserve to be in prison.
She used to be a punk.
She used to be a free bird.
Then they clipped her wings.
Now, she's special.
She's new.
And they were right to lock her up.

Bio: She remembers listening to her mother. She couldn't have been more than 5 at the time, but she can distinctly hear her mother singing the song "Hej, sokoly." She recalled struggling with the words as a five year word, but she currently knows every word of every verse, in her mother's native Polish, by heart. She doesn't remember how she got there.

She remembers getting into a brawl. It was five-on-five, in a dark place. An alleyway, maybe? She'd used her powers to make a small metal sphere. She hurled it at the group, and it struck one on the forehead. The other four fled, carrying the lifeless body of the victim.

She remembers the smell of pine, and the smell of gasoline. She doesn't quite know why. She simply recalls them, while she's cooped up in the ward. They give her good feelings, for some reason.

Powers / Abilities: She can fuse the atoms and molecules of the air around her to create metallic objects, using controlled fusion. Because of the nitrogen in the air, what comes out is usually molybdenum. The energy dissipates into her, to be used in the next fusion. It can happen all around her; she doesn't need to concentrate or have any physical involvement. She need merely think.

Realistic Power Drawbacks: If anyone or anything is in the space where the fusion is taking place, the reaction will fizzle out and not take place. Because the resource used is the air around her, and because atmospheric pressure is significantly less dense than metal, The size of the objects that she can create indoors are usually only about the size of a coin, or a marble. In large rooms, she can create something the size of a baseball. Whatever she creates quite literally takes her breath away.

OP to decide on effects medications will have on powers
Medication effect: Metal-creating powers retarded by a factor of 2 (0.5 speed).

Fears: Acrophobia, claustrophobia
Stance towards authority figures: They used to fear her. Now she fears them.
Other Medical Issues [Optional]: Peanut allergy
Psychological disorders [Optional]: Narcolepsy, intermittent explosive disorder

Miscellaneous (anything else you’d like to add): She can speak fluent Polish. Probably not applicable, but it's something. She also really likes spiders.
RP Examples: You know me, don't you?
