Appearance Image & Description: Biography: Born to a small farm in North Georgia to Veteran of the Army and Clerk James’s life could be described as uneventful. This all changed once he graduated High School, after marrying the love of his life Brenda he enlisted in the US Army and was deployed to Vietnam in 1966. Being deployed the southern portion of the country James served as a rifleman in the 76th Mechanized Brigade and his unit did standard S&D Operations. This all changed though in the Tet Offensive when the brigade was caught in the thick of it with his unit even being completely surrounded for a majority of the battle suffering heavy losses. Near the end of the battle the brigade was able to break out. Due to the heavy losses he was sent back to the US though he is still enlisted.
