I've been through the old Peace-Keepers RP series and was apart of the events of Bentus' RP, so even if I did have a problem with language [which you know I don't] I'd think I'm covered when it comes to 'possibly offensive' events or language, but here you go anyways:

Thanks man, I hope we can keep this going for a while now, but I'm also worried that some people might take what happens a bit close to the shaving surface. Thank you NUC on both fronts. That update took the better part of like, three hours. Kept finding little issues and still wasn't able to resolve some, but they're pretty well hidden now.

Hey Kass, do you want us newbies to post something now or wait until you "magic us forward"? Just wondering because if you want I can get an introductory post up tomorrow, but I'm not able to do much besides that at the moment.

So one way or another I've managed to talk myself into a situation where I basically have to write a Novelette/Novella for an English Project. So expect my activity to slow a lot, since this will be taking up a good portion of my time

Why not just NPC the 2nd Lt for the time being and make a field promotion of a character later after the Lt is unfortunately a victim of fragging hostile action?

Yep. Someone just posted in the IC today if that means anything. GATE RPs in general have a history of going extremely slowly. Bentus' Unto the Breach [Arguably the most successful of the Player Based RPs thus far. Hoping this one beats it out] was played out over the course of roughly five months, and despite being over twelve pages in the IC, only lasted for about three days ICly.

So just give it some time. Worse case I'll give Kass a poke and get something arranged.

Funny you should say that. I have to write a novel for an English Class [in Three Weeks, so I'm going to write myself into the ground]. The collection of all my posts from Bentus' GATE RP totaled in around 110,000 Words. It took 24 hrs total, and I have 36 hrs total to write this one.

But cool to hear and the more the merrier when it comes to the Recon Platoon
