A P P L I C A T I O N
Name: Doctor W.D. Gaster
Alias/Titles: Man Who Speaks in Hands | The Royal Scientist
Originating From: Undertale (My Interpretation of the Character)
Gender: Male
Age: Few Hundred Years
Appearance: "Science requires sacrifice"
Species: Skeleton
Brief Backstory: Born into an era long forgotten by most monsters, Gaster's childhood was defined by an era of lasting peace between humanity and monster-kind where the two races lived beneficially among one another. While very little information about Gaster's history from his childhood to adolescence it is known that he would eventually become friends with then-Crown Prince Asgore of Monsterkind as well as eventually becoming the apprentice of the previous Royal Scientist until eventually succeeding his mentor into becoming the next in a line of Royal Scientists at the time. Eventually over time however mistrust would begin to grow between humanity and monsters, the latter having come to realize that human souls held an innate superiority over monster souls. In response to this latent disadvantage over humanity would Gaster and his colleagues begin investigating into the differences of human souls and monster souls eventually evolving into testing of these two souls.
For the first few years would this experimentation go on relatively unknown to humanity until one day that this research would be leaked to humanity's leadership and then subsequently resulting in a raid on the laboratory in which this experimentation was taking place resulting in the deaths of many monster scientists and Gaster himself being mentally and physically scarred on the right side of his face from the massacre. With tensions at a boiling point between the two races would the eventual War of Humans and Monsters break out, with Gaster joining the rank and file of the monster army in the name of avenging the deaths of his colleagues. The end result of this war would lead to a vast reduction in the monster population and their subsequent exile into the underground however the war itself would further affect the Royal Scientist who came to manifest a permanent mistrust and grudge against humanity as a whole.
This exile into the underground would also have an unintended side effect on Gaster, who would eventually find himself becoming the confidant of King Asgore in all scientific purposes as well as serving as the chief architect of The CORE, which would extract the thermal energy of Mount Ebott and provide a permanent power source for the denizens of the underground, however Gaster would never forget the events of the War and the deaths of his fellow colleagues, pledging to continue his research in human souls and trying to find a way to even the playing field between the two races should another war break out. Over time however would the Royal Scientist eventually marry one of the few surviving skeletons and becoming the father of two children known as Sans and Papyrus.
Unfortunately, Gaster spent little time in raising his children, still feeling an obligation in avenging the deaths of his colleagues and continuing his extensive research for years. Eventually however would human children begin falling down into the underground and the Royal Guard subsequently killing these children and handing them over to the Royal Scientist for his research into human souls. Unfortunately, during his investigation into the soul of Determination would an accident take place, Gaster falling into the CORE before ending up where we are now: the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Powers and Abilities:
- Near Superhuman Condition: Having been on the frontlines of the Human-Monster War as well as having the highest known kill count during this conflict, It is without a doubt that Gaster is perhaps one of the strongest monsters of his time, also earning him the moniker of The Man Who Speaks in Hands.
- SOUL Magic: Originating from an Undertale Universe, W.D Gaster's primary powers revolve around the manipulation of SOUL Magic, an essence of power that flows within the souls of both monster and humankind in the Undertale and as a skeleton does Gaster have access to a certain type of magic that has yet to be seen by other monster races.
- Levitation: Through his Magic, Gaster has the ability to float in midair.
- Teleportation: Gaster has the ability to varying distances although the farther he goes the more drastic the drain on his magic is.
- Bone Manipulation/Bone Magic: As a Skeleton, W.D Gaster has the ability to both summon bones and manipulate them however to his liking. However, through his extensive knowledge in this form of Magic, Gaster has refined this ability to the point where he can summon a number of floating skeletal hands in order to achieve a variety of abilities.
- Blade Manipulation: The first of Gaster's hand namely his purple hand has the ability to bladed constructs in which he can combine with his bones to use as melee weapons or as weaponry for his six hands.
- Explosion Manipulation/Volatile Constructs: The Second of his Six Hands, Gaster's Orange Hand technically has two abilities that fall into the same category. Using his magic in conjunction with this hand, Gaster has the ability to create medium pellet sized spheres which he can then detonate them of his own accord, causing damage around a localized vicinity to varying degrees
- Energy Bullet Projection: The Third of Six Hands, Gaster's Yellow Hand has the ability to fire a barrage of energy bullets in order to either harm an individual enemy or a group of enemies.
- Energy Shield Construction: His Fourth out of Six in his arsenal, Gaster's Green Hand as the ability to both generate a shield to defend himself from attacks and also use this to contain his foes within this barrier.
- Energy String Manipulation: Gaster's Fifth Hand, the Blue Hand has the ability to generate up to five teal energy strings for a variety of purposes.
- Energy Beam Emission: Having developed his magic to the point in which summoning Gaster Blasters have become obsolete, Gaster's Sixth and Final Hand namely his red hand has the ability to fire beams of energy similar or exceeding the strength of Gaster Blasters.
Tier: 9-B Physcally, 8-C with most powers, 8-A with Special Attacks
Attack Potency: 9-B Physcally, 8-C with most powers, 8-A with Special Attacks
Speed: Peak Human Travel Speed, Instantaneous with teleportation, Superhuman Combat and Reaction Speed, Hypersonic Attack Speed
Lifting Strength: Regular Human, Class 1 (With Blue Hand), Class 25 (With Monotone - Blue Hand)
Striking Strength: Human Level
Durability: Small Building level himself, Town Level with Barrier Magic
Stamina: Superhuman, as it has been noted that during the Human-Monster War that Gaster spent very little time resting.
Range: Standard melee range with Fists, Extended Melee Range with Weapons, Can attack any target within sight with Magic Attacks
Standard Equipment: DT Pills (Healing Pills Basically)
Intelligence: As both a Scientist and a War Veteran, Gaster is of Genius-Level Intellect also being able to tell when most people are hiding something from him on occasion. As a War Veteran can Gaster formulate strategies in which to operate when facing enemies, operating rather meticulous and methodically.
Weaknesses:
- A very important weakness that should be noted: Gaster's Seven Hands can be destroyed if they are directly harmed or enough pressure is put on them that results in the hand cracking before shattering away in it's entirety.
- Even though it is able to both protect himself and even contain his enemies, Gaster's Green Hand can be destroyed if enough force and pressure is put on the barrier, resulting in the destruction of said hand.
- In the event that one of Gaster's floating hands is destroyed, The time varies on how long it takes to mend his magic and recreate the destroyed hand, this dependency is based on how many hands have already been destroyed by his foe.
- If Gaster desires to teleport, he must have knowledge about the location that he is teleporting to, a weakness that is also demonstrated by his son Sans.
- Gaster is also restricted in the sense that he is very much incapable of Universal Teleportation with his powers, as at this moment that traveling the distance between the Moon and the Earth would put a noticeable drain on Gaster's magic.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Monotone: Perhaps his most notable special attack, Monotone is the ability in which Gaster can manipulate his six floating hands to correspond to a certain color, vastly increasing the power of said attack six times over.
- Monotone - Titan's Maw: While not counted as a special attack on it's own, Titan's Maw is a technique derived from his red hand's ability to fire forth a beam of energy. Through using his magic as a medium does Gaster first spread out his six hands into a large circle before firing forth six individual beams that begin to expand inwardly to create a singular massive beam meant to cause damage to a vast area but can also cause damage to a singular individual due to it's sheer size.
- Gaster Blaster Summoning: As the name implies, Gaster has the ability to summon what is called a "Gaster Blaster" which is essentially a skeletal construct that has the ability to not only levitate or move to where the user desires, but also has the ability to fire beams of blue energy from it's maw. Gaster is also able to create more than one of these blasters, being able to create as many that his magic reserves will allow. One of these blasters has the ability to completely obliterate a wall, while a group of these blasters can outright collapse a whole building.
- The Master Blaster: As the skeleton reputed for being the creator of the Gaster Blaster, Gaster has refined this ability to its Nth degree, being able to summon what is known as a "Master Blaster', a colossal and monumentally stronger variant of the Gaster Blaster. True to it's name this behemoth of a construct is considered Gaster's Ultimate Attack being able to level multiple blocks of an entire city in a single shot. Due to it's sheer size and destructive nature the drain it takes on Gaster's magic is gigantic to say the least, being able to use them only twice before being drained of most if not all of his magic reserves.
